You took two (rather weak) colonies, that's granted, but ended up losing the american territories AND ended up with 7% inflation -- this was all within the very early stages of the game, we hadn't even passed 1530 by then. So what had been a small victory in terms of gaining 2 colonies, would of ended up with a france suffering late game. England and Spain were sharing the america spoils between them, and france was already suffering a crippling inflation. Just face it, you can't take me when you're france and I'm spain. =P
15:43:19 Dec 29th 06 - Ms. Avril Lavigne: thing is, you shouldn't even try to colonize if you play with france.. go full out for land based military on your domestic policies and grab as much of germany and north italy as you dare, in the 18th century your manpower and milisci will allow you to battle entire europe - AND WIN!! then ofc when you are playing human opponents you will be likely to suffer war exhaustion from bs countries like russia, sweden or other far-away-hard-to-get-to-coz-u-have-no-navy-coz-england-killed-it kind of countries declaring on you and refusing you peace.. but thats ok, coz you will be marching back and forth over europe with 40k armies quelling peasants and german minors quicker than swiffers can spam this forum!!
