Vengence, as a child, heard of stories about his Grandfather whom he was named after, the greastest of his ancestors. His father and mother died when he was twelve in a war, so he was now Vengence's (his Grandfather's) sole heir .He was determined to be as good as his Grandfather, taking over every city that was not his own. The rule he had been told of that he created was like no other, his armies sprerad across the land like a plague, destroying or keeping whatever was wanted. But of course, even plagues eventually die out. But he was never destroyed by his enemies, he simply died of old age. and while he lay on his deathbed, his Grandson Vengence was by his side waiting to take over in command of the legions of men. waiting, and waiting, and waiting..........
He set out at once to complete his Grandfathers work, but alas, he had wasted too much time. many cities once his has been taken. instead he set up a series of cities, to mine gold and train troops. slowly but surely, more and more people came to the cities. at once he started the training, and once more his army spread across the land like a plague. but then, diasaster. he fell ill, so he retreated back once more. in the darkness he lay, waitiing till he recovered, waiting to take command once more, waiting, waiting, waiting........
meanwhile, his cities were being taken, giving way to the rule of others. Once again he would have to start from scratch, once again he would have to rise up. rise up, in a whirl of fury, of blood and of Vengence. but meanwhile, he gave over his rule to his right hand man, but he was corrupt and took everything Vengence had worked for as his own. but under his rule the people suffered, they wanted their real ruler back, and they wanted Vengence on this man who was now ruling them. so in one night they rebelled, and had no ruler till Vengence came back, till he seized power once more.for though he may have been a man who was always at war, when taking a city he always looked after the people under his rule, and they learned to love him. so, they lay in wait of his return, waiting for the day he would rule again, waiting, waiting, waiting........
Vengence came back to rule, but alas, he had been crippled by his illness. No more did he conquest, no more did he take the rule of everyone nearby. but instead he made alliances, and turned into a peaceful ruler. But he hated it, and was planning the demise of his allied rulers. it would fall to his heir to do his, whoever he ay be. it could not be his son, as he had none. no, it would be someone else in the family. someone strong, cunning, and fearsome in battle. but for now he had to wait, and wait, and wait...............
