Sir Bertrand Dugeusclin

Lived in Era 10 and got 1 heir(s) (Bertrand Dugeusclin).

sigh;
i didn't make a difference this era, nor did i make one in the previous ones ... we all hope for better times ... one day i will prevail ... when i get lucky ... it's hard for a farmer to become a warlord ... it's even harder to try and stand up against the endless plotting from the nobility ... one day God or the whole pantheon will be at my side ... or i could just start using my head, maybe ... hmmm, how i liked the days when i was still a troll, a poor one, but still ... *drifting away on happy thoughts* ... the blood!, the massacres!, the freightened scares of those mere creatures that seemed to populate the area!, the stolen children and slaves! ... too bad about the daylight and not being able to sell your resources ... friends were few and ennemies were always waiting for you to slip up ... but still, ... these were adventurous times ...

Sir Bertrand Dugeusclin

Up for some dieing?

Most of these 'sujets' were born into nobilty and gave them their rights by birth ... unfortunately wisdom wasn't always included ... The subjects of these 'sujets' were forced to do hard labour and pay heavy taxes to this nobility, who couldn't care less if a farmer more or less died because of maltreatement.
One day, Bertrand Dugeusclin, swore an oath, to defend his fellow compagnions and fight off this terrible reign of 'the happy few'...

Lord Bertrand Dugeusclin

Lived in Era 12 and got 1 heir(s) (Bertrand Dugeusclin).

Busy again ... no remarkable exploits to report ... peasantry is becoming used to the peacefull times that lay behind them ... Bad morale ... I feel they need glorious battles and bloodshed to remember what they once were ... if only a leader would rise ...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Victory! The evil king has been driven back!
Who could have imagined that the outcome could have been so glorious and ... profitable ... ? Our troops kept on defeating thousands and thousands of ennemy soldiers, until, finally, the main force was broken and the ennemy ran away ... except they had nowhere to hide or to run to ... trapped ... confused ... angry ... dissapointed ... futile ...
