He was found and rasied by Tam alThor in the Two Rivers area on the fringes of the Kingdom of Andor. Since leaving his home with Moiraine Dammondred Aes Sedi of the Blue Ajah he has set himself apart as the leader of the Free world in direct defiance of the dark one.

After taking the Stone of Tear Rand alThor set about building his newly counqored territory into the epitomy of the New World Order. In doing so he did away with slavery, unjust taxes on the poor, and set about a new wave of laws protecting the lower classes form the upper. Even while he was making life better for those people under his protection he was preparing to expand his dominion by force if nessecary to prepare the world for the end of days.
