I am an officer who commands a legion in Mantrax. My army of 50 Ghosts and 1000 peasants traveled NW for 2 days and settled in a land between a mountain range and a lake. We named it Tribune, for my foster father was one.
There are 2 kingdoms near me, the Greeks and Dorians. Both have tried to recruit me but instead I made a NAP, for it is wise to stay on friendly terms.
Greece is nearly wiped out by the Flames and Tak the Naked attacked me. I have just applied for the Dorians, whom I believe enemies of Flames.
16:26:28: Watch Dogs lead by Mr. Draven attacked and took over Tribune. My daughter is running away to core, as I am writing this, in the mountains. Troops have retreated, and since I lost my city, I shall condemn myself to live here for the rest of my life....

Ghosts speed me along with 1000 peasants to the SE corner core. We stopped and built a city between a river bank and forest, calling it Seven Hills, like Rome, like Byzantium or Constantinople. I wondered how my father was faring, who stayed behind. It was odd that I got elected as a consul, and Quadran as the other, even after Legate lost Tribune.
My time here is running out, for the Flames are closing up on my kingdom members. I feel ashamed because I don't have a great army to help. Why do I get an important rank of my people? Will I become as unpopular as my father? I hope I will not fail.
I must pray to Fortuna, Juno, Minerva, and Bona Dea. Mr. Helper Built a Graveyard 2 days' worth of marching from my city. Citizens talk of running away and making another one but that would soon become a Flames city. I wisely told the city guards to close the gates.
Mr. Yigoor Yibyorak attempted to cast a spell upon us. Twice.

07:33:52: NO Getting Away From ME lead by Mr. Lightning Thunder attampted to take over Seven Hills. Do we still have a blood pact with Flames?
Legion and Flame will be having a full-scale, end-of-era war.
It will begin 12:00 AM EST Monday. I don't think it is funny. It's like being a gladiator in an amphitheater.
00:21:09: Panzer Division lead by Mr. Hobo attacked and plundered Seven Hills. So much like Rome in 410 A.D. Must my city follow its doomed path? Is the name of my city the connection? Is my family line destined to horrible fates? I am packing and planning to evacuate the city.
00:21:24: Panzer Division lead by Mr. Hobo burned and destroyed Seven Hills. "Quick-leave this place, my Denarius, follow Quadran and his son. The Lifeguards will protect you."
AFTERWORD: Aureus' and Quadran's family with soldiers left from the army teleport to a different setting by some Archmage's help. Their work was poorly practiced and they were no longer on the world Mantrax.

PROLOGUE: with the help of Spellcastors, the Roman elves materialized in West City. Aureus died from too much travel and old age.She was buried (not cremated, for fire dealt with war and death) beside the city's river. They moved east for 5 days to build a city, but now Denarius became a dictator.
It is hopeless! I know my life is short, because Legate, my grandfather, had once killed a Flames army belonging to Tak The Naked and now that dwarf seeks revenge. I need to split my army and move north.
Time is running out, but there is still some peace while I live. One Flames member was impressed after reading this third generation diary and pledged not to kill me.
AFTERWORD: Denarius closed the ancient diary and summoned Sestertius. She gave it to him, saying "This book is sacred. Keep it and stay on Mantrax." While Denarius passed through the courtyard of her palace, Quadran and his son Semias ran from behind two columns. They stabbed and beheaded her before she could call for help. Just then, Armageddon happened.

BACKROUND: 2/3 east of the world Mantrax. The new emperor is Mr. Sesterius. He and his people came here on VU Day 151. They began on Pathetic Start, moving NNE for 6 days to a river on the west, the forest on the east, and a mountain range on the other side of the previous landforms.
This city shall be named Valley, a food city. It is only temperary because our core will move southeast. The North Empire wishes to pact with us. How amusing, for we are distant from them. Mayhap our leader will accept it, for one of my friends is in NE. Tyra Jil is the ruler of the kingdom, and makes decisions with the Council, but I am not in it.
There a Blood Pact with the Dark Riders. I must turn against my friend. Duty is duty.
It seems to be that Luitgard has been slayed and moved on to Mantrax. She has created a new empire called Elven kingdom.
Another kingdom pact, this time with The Ever Victorious Army. I am planning to take over Solithar, which is north of the river. Info-Solithar, owned by Mr. Zurin Blackhand[TZE]: Swordsmen:1, Guardtowers:1. An easy target. >:)
VICTORY! The city of Solithar is now under our command! Solithar will be a mining city.
I have sent a regiment east to make a Northern Border for the Legion, near TZE's wall. This city is very important, because
it: is a blocker, a lumber city, and will allow me to move up a rank-from a Peasant to a Cleric (light side).
What a wonderful life this is, being an emperor. This era might possibly the Golden Age for the Roman elves!
EPILOUGE: After retiring, the Emperor Sestertius took a vacation. He had no heirs and everything fell into chaos. People begged him to come back, but he said he was too old and might be assassinated.
