Across the Andes Mountains lived a civilization so massive it had to dig deep in order to make enough housing in the land they had. The Lowers of Nouda, led by the fearless Hackerben, were unstoppable, and adept in every art. The farmers were renowned for their quick grown and quick sold surplus of potatoes, rice, wheat, and barley. The vegetable supply was stocked with crisp and refreshing carrots and celery. The Lowers' food sales provided them with lots of money and they became the most powerful people of all time.
Until the Armaggedon...
Hackerben was the sole survivor of all his people, protected by the magical charms that were engraved in the spirit of his civilization, he lived in Nouda at the edge of the forest. While all of his people were destroyed in Kittia and Nathania in the hurricanes and earthquakes. He was given a last chance of survival, his djinni, Bartimaeus, whisked him to Starta, for a last chance of survival.
His last chance was all for naught, he became quite powerful in Starta, but made some foolish mistakes. He chose Faquarl to be his new djinni and confidante, this was the biggest mistake he ever made. Faquarl cast a sleeping spell on Hackerben, and he was cut off from all of his people. During this time his largest cities were destroyed and taken over, and Hackerben was left with two cities that ne'er belonged to him. He fell in love with Vertencia, a beautiful maiden that arose from the leaves of the forests near their homeland. He resummoned Bartimaeus, who took the son they bore together, Vertencio, and brought him to a new land, where chances of survival were high, and power seeped throughout the land where he dwelled. Hackerben gave Vertencio his blessing, and let him go.
Hackerben disbanded the cities he had left, and willingly gave them to the poor Native Peoples that were not doing well on their own. He returned to Nouda and erected himself a statue, and took his life there.
And his son lived on...

His father Vertencio was a lazy bum, Didn't do anything too special, not anything too cool, actually, to be honest, he a was a forum freak, and didn't even play, sure he was in herbal essence lol, but he quit after 2 RL Days and just gave up on that era... what loser
But Sir Verteccio, man... that guy is sexy and was the best Halfling ever... okay... he wasn't that great, but anyway, I'm bored right now waiting for the next era to start..., or until my kingdom starts up again so yeah... anyway, umm... just for the record, I got 18th in Mantrax this era, and 3rd Halfling in all of VU... that's pretty cool I guess, not that great... I could do better, but this is the end of my first FULL era... my first era was only like 300 VU days, I didn't do anything in Era's 24 or 25... I'll probably forget about this...
