Out of curiosity, how did Albatross gain their nickname, Albatrash? Can anyone care to kindly enlighten me?

It's not understandable or reasonable. It's feeding. When it comes to people going inactive, so many kingdoms conveniently forget that orcs can destroy towns or they "finger slip" and hit plunder instead/before...

lol yeah but it is a funny word play. I dont have a problem with alba, I have a small dislike for them as they have made some decisions I do not like. That was the crator era when only MAD and Alba was on the map. They decided to not fight us and just fill their blockers. Also the era with incorrigible gentlemen when they had 3 naps just to fight us. I understand the fact it is a new player kingdom and that they want to not pile on too much. But thats absolutely no fun.

well basically we had 2-3 crators on and off you had one. We had our armouries in the middle of all the crators while you stayed in your crator. We reached your crator, you could only reach our armouries. When I say you I mean your army Edi, when you hit my army and got bounced back aaaall the way back to your crator. It was my second era back, I was so bored by it. You guys also casted arma and then did a bunch of sneak attacks to get an extra crator for like a day maybe, without actually fighting us. So we basically just made sure to win the era, that even was used as a threat. We will farm the era win or come fight us. Lol we just ended up with the era win in the end.

Oh sure, to you who is not playing in Dark Riders, or even in Fantasia, it may be "obvious" town feeding. Here, let me call you out too... why don't you stop being a sanctimonious smart-ass if you do not know the facts and the situation?

The facts are: we have only one primary mage, Freya. He (she?) represented to us that he (she?) will be extremely active and cooperative all era long. Based on his (her?) representations, we structured the entire kingdom order around him (her?) as the primary OOP to mid-era mage. Unfortunately, he (she?) did not live up to his (her?) representations and boasts or even to his (her?) most basic responsibility - simple teamwork and communication. This has deprived Dark Riders of a mage... our PRIMARY mage. He (she?) was pretty effing useless in the OOP war we had as well (and our OOP war was a core sharing OOP war... not one where kingdoms were separated about 10 ticks or so apart). In order to rectify the situation, and in the light of the impending pincer attack from Albatross and Abydos, two kingdoms who had barely a lick of OOP warring, we had to do emergency conversions of two of our players into mages, conversions that were forced because they were going through completely different build structures before this twerp disappeared off the map without even a heads-up. Now, faced with attacks from several armies from a kingdom that had plenty of time to farm up and with us having no mage at all, we are trying to do what we can to salvage the situation. And you know what... it looks likely to be in vain anyway because our new mages couldn't convert on time, we barely got anything off our former kingdomate, and we may not be able to stop the opposition kingdom's core breach.



Ultimately, I can't care about paragraphing my post, and you can feel free to TL / DR, but unless you have never ever done anything questionable in VU before, Elsin, you should really spare us the presumptuous morality-police lecturing.

You did nothing absolutely nothing wrong..................until you decided to take over his towns instead of razing them.... Then it became feeding :)

Ok... but who is Elsin? I mean i cant quite follow your conversions coz i dont know who elsin is.

I was debating whether to do the usual and ignore your posts like the 9.99 times out of 10 that I do, but since I almost never come down to the lower levels and behave like a total ass and brat in real life, and since I always have to filter my mouth and behave EXTREMELY diplomatically whenever I tell someone in real life that they are a narrow-minded, sanctimonious smart-ass with a massive inability to look at a matter objectively, deeply and from all angles, I decided that this recent opinion of yours was an excellent opportunity to take off the cuffs and restraints from my mouth and mind and let loose some steam :P

After-all, now that folks like the Quiet One, Raistlin, Arzun, Wilber, etc. are gone, who else is there to forum bash like in the old days? Oh, and speaking of Wilber, I wonder if he has gotten himself a proper education yet? Has he reached quarter of a million pounds in networth minus debt yet? Ah, life's mysteries.... :D

Because I am a man of my word. When I say I will play, do my best to contribute to the team and be there until the end, I stick to my commitment. Similarly I expect at least a basic level of sensibility and responsibility from the people I play with. I don't expect you to be a hardcore addict whose glories in VU are all that brings meaning to your life like Wilber, but I do expect you to know that you are playing with people who are relying on you, in one way or another, for some performance and for you to pull some weight. So in short, I expect at least basic communication if you cannot be active. Then we can retool the kingdom early on rather than be forced into emergency triage.

Also, I expect people who like to boast to be capable of backing up to their boasts. I do not look down poorly on noobs or inexperienced folks, but I do look down severely on people who cannot stand up to what they say.
