i think that Portugal will go all the way to the finals and win this.....portugal is too crazy ..specially with C.Ronaldo....i like italia also...they pretty good too...=P

I'm personally for Russia (although I know they're chances of even reaching quarter finals are low), Czech Republic (I really want them to win, too bad Portugal beat them) and Germany (though they're tactics are too defensive and they would probably loose against a more aggressive team such as Spain or Portugal). I'm not voting, just saying some stuff (:

Spain, in spite of its good players, hardly reaches the last phases of the tournaments. Portugal and Holland are, until now, the best candidates and tomorrow's France-Holland game will give us a good inside look on that. Germany is a clasic pretender to the title in whatever competion they play so we will probably have our winner amonst this three (in case the World Cup finalists Italy and France don't show a different shape tomorrow from what they have in their opening games). P.S. : Russia and the Czech Republic have no actual chance but after today's display of tactics and game knowledge, we might have this years surprise in the Croatian bunch.

yeah i was going for the germans as well to win the game today....it was a good game...im just looking forward to the italy game 2morrow...boy 2morrows games will be fun to watch....and yeah i agree with ironic....PORTUGAL OWNS!!!

Croatia are the most underrated team, since they are as good as hell, but no one expects them to win. Shame, actually.

they may all win, except germany, italy, etc ... most of the favourites :-p

as a 'belg', i'm almost too scared to say this, because they'll never get over it ;-) ,  the netherlands are my favourites this year  (they had a bad start, but cleaning out italy was pure joy :-)  )

too bad swiss and austria are out already (or as good as anyway)

(as ussual, i'm not really rational as to whom i support :-)  ,  underdogs should always win!)

(and i hope that that tackling turk breaks his own legs one of his days ... yes, both of them)

And Holland are likly to win this game as its sitting at 3 - 1

France are looking better than they were last game though, they needed to sit back for 5 mins after they brought it back to 2 - 1, but 1 min after they pull a goal back, 3- 1

That last goal must have taken alll confidence away,they are slipping now or maybe its just Holland are playing very well... Proberly a mix of the two..

1-1 draw. I'd say Italy's chance for getting in the quarter finals is dead in the water.

Though I will say one thing for the Italians, their was an amazing  save by Buffon totally thought it was over when the penalty kick came.

What a crazy tournament! After the games against Austria and Croatia i thought the germans will surely fail the quarterfinals but now this. We fought one of the best quarterfinals and now against Turkey we have a real chance to reach the finals. Our opponent will be Russia ..they have some great players and a style similar to ours.

my guess is

Germany - Turkey   2:0

Spain - Russia     1:2

in the finals

Germany - Russia  3:2

Yer, I was talking too my mates yesterday in my class { I live in Spain..}
Anyway, they all believe Spain are gona win although Russia are looking a very clean cut team

The 4-1 in the Group stage gives perhaps a look in on the upcoming fixture, although Football isnt always a full on conclusion
Im looking forward too it more than the Germany game in which I believe Germany will win from going behind
Nihat from Turkey looks a good player, Im surprised no one from the Premiership has looked into purcheasing him as  of yet...
