It was not better or worse than any other Indiana Jones movie. It's enjoyable if you can suspend belief and not ask how he can survive a nuclear bomb detonation by hiding in a freezer.

The first one....Nazis.....racist? No....anti facism ftw! they got killed by God for screwing with his Ark of the Covenant....so is God a racist!?

Yeah in the second one he was completely racist...he killed a bunch of Indian people who drank some nasty stuff that turned them into mindless slaves, enslaving children....its too bad they were rescued and all, and also the bad guys are worshipping an evil god that they sacrifice people to.....idk about you guys but MAN im going to sue for apparent racism(How high were you? can you sense my sarcasm?) Maybe you can say he destroyed an EVIL culture....too bad the British arrested them...so British must be racist too...overall...pulling out hearts, laughing at people burning alive...yeah they so totally deserved to keep doing that

Third one.....Nazis again buddy.....they arent really a race in themselves but if you really want to whine...sure racism....tried screwing with God again and look what happens....they get killed b/c they are facists and no one likes them....just ask those guardian guys who were protecting the Holy Grail who were killed by them.

Well, I'm not going to spoil it for you, but Indy fights commies, I am also unsure how his body wasn't entirely mangled when he got out of that fridge, but oh well. I love how, like almost all action movies, the bad guys can never seem to hit anything. I want to know how they're trained, I mean, do the instructors say, "Alright! You see that target down there? DON'T HIT IT! Hit everything around it, but don't hit the target itself!"

Reminds me of an old Arnold Schwarzenegger movie called Commando. At the end he's standing out in a field at the center of a military base with a hundred guys shooting at him from all directions, and he isn't getting hit once, he is just mowing them down. People BEHIND him were somehow falling down! People hiding behind grassy hills were falling down with bullet holes in them, but still, Arny kicks butt!

Speaking of that, I like how he escapes a gigantic explosion in Predator by running around thirty feet away...

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is... EPIC FAIL.

FIrst of all pretty much all the cliches are there, bad guys can't shoot for jack, best friend goes tratior because he's greedy and dies because he's greedy, the bad guys are all very evil looking, can survive blasts of gigantic proportions, theres one guy who can fight etc. Some of the ideas weren't bad , like the City of Gold I thought that was a great mystery that could make a very interesting plotline and they even based the existence of the Crystal Skull from fact(it does exist I've seen one in Britain) but then they had to fit E.T. into it and that just ruined it.

I havnt seen the movie yet but I may be sad if I find that it is as bad as you guys are making it sound. And Nazis cannot shoot! All the good ones were fighting in WWII or died...why would Hitler send his best shooters.....to look for artifacts? He would send smart ones....who cannot shoot...and who dont look pretty for the cameras....

I thought the new movie was very good and Harrison ford still kicked but despite being in his 60's BUT!!! the alien thing ruined it for me. It just doesn't fit in with the old Indiana Jones movies. but most of my friends liked it so you will have to see it for yourself

Arvious...I have all the Star Wars movies but like the original 3 the best....and I liked episode 2 more than the first and third...

Hmm... Star Wars movies.
The best are the original trilogy. Why? Sure, they were crazy, sure they were out of this world, but the acting was amazing. The actors carried the story and made the whole incredibly fun and enjoyable. In the new three, they have amazing special effects, but the directing and screenplay is horrid. They give the actors completely wooden lines and mess around with a good formula.
The sheer awesomeness of episode III compensates for these deficits somewhat (as well as having slightly better screenplay+etc), but Episodes I/II are definitely subpar, which is a real shame.

Now, back on topic.
The original three Indiana Jones movies were set in the thirties, and were made with the same formula as 1930's movies were made. With a large chunk of modern touches.
Now, this one's set in the 1950's, so (surprise surprise) the plot is 1950's style with 1950's themes. That means Nukes, Commies and Aliens.
Hence there are Nukes, Commies and Aliens in the film. Shocking!
