you gotta pay for it, i remember a few years ago some dude came on vu with a hack to get it for free :D

in the very early betas you could export your charactor and make him lvl 7 with notepad to bypass the trial. (back then the trial was up until you reached lvl 6). And right now you could just edit the module.ini and look for the "player_xp_multiplier   = 2.0;" line and make it 0.0 so your charactor doesn't level up, and just simply edit your export file when you "choose" to level up :)

I have Mount and Blade, though my laptop crapped out and I don't have a good enough computer to run it anymore. That was a sad day. =(

This is the Stand Alone expansion im talking about peeps :P Its pretty much the same game except a few little add ons here and there; that you could just get mods for on the old one just not as good. oh and this one has online play >=) plus 1 more kingdom to choose troops from.

The original was good and you can probably easily find a torrent for it but if your gonna check out Mount and Blade, check out the Warband version graphic wise it sucks but its fun like games should be. :)

Oh and you dont need the original Mount and Blade to play Mount and Blade Warband which is a plus :P

Currently it costs about $25-30  depending where your buying from I got it for around $25 on steam it was on sale slightly before its release :)

Oh and Left for Dead 2 is now at $30 on steam.

Duh its not really better its pretty much the same one except it has little add ons and tweaks here and there its an expansion to the original except you dont require the original to play. Its just if you havent played the game yet play that version instead being its got more then the original.

Some good things added was enemies retreat(yes you can stab them in back as they run) and the online play :) but for the most part you can find the mods for the original Mount and Blade that do the same things that were added on just now its official well except the online one.

Reason I bought it was to support the indie company that actually makes a good game.

Yeah, I play Mount and Blade Warbands and Heroes of Newerth.

Warbands multiplayer is really fun, but there aren't a lot of people who play it.

Mount and blade uses barely any resourses to run. I bet a computer from 2001 could run this game.

I've tried running it on this computer, and it does run. However, most of the siege tower sieges cause it to crash. I need more RAM, that's all. =/
