Bling/pimp, whatever you prefer to be called. Listen i've just spotted where this person said something about your recently deceased mother. How was (s?)he to know that she'd passed away? (S)He wasn't. Childish jokes like that come through the forums all day long. I don't agree with mother jokes at all, but as you said banter is brilliant, (s)he just went about it wrong.

Im the first to jump into a flame fight. yet i will do it thoughtfully, taking into account i have no idea if the person has lost the relative i am insulting, has a handicap i am insulting, is of an ethnic gender im insulting, or a religious persuasion im insulting. Because i dont know any of this information...I dont insult it....and if i did, would not stoop low enough to do so. Certain lines get crossed.

So post them here and make me eat my words. Because I am very confident in saying that I have never crossed that line. And do you even know what a sexist remark is? Considering we have never chatted or pm'd, it would be a pretty hard feat to accomplish.

Pimp how come you didn't hop on arch shade's case when he made comment last era.  It took me awhile to find it.  But if you look at Zetamania forums last era, he insulted MUCH worse.  And you flamed back, but for some reason never mentioned anything of it.  If you had, I would have never even made a "SLIGHT" joke that millions of people reference every single day.

If for some reason this is true about your mom.  I apologize.

I've witnessed you saying MUCH worse on the VU chat, I just fail to archive every conversation I have with everyone.  I think this may be the case with the majority of the players.

if you dont want people to flame you for personal stuff, then dont post it dont tell people about it and dont get mad when people do flame for it. this is a game its not real life and people have the right to act like *beep*s and *beep*s all they want to. if people insulted you or whoever lost someone/anyone then they should take it like a man or woman and hold it together...

i have no idea what you are going on about, but I would not even want to try estimate your mental age, because I would be insulting 6 year olds. But im guessing that you feel because its a game, your duty to basic human respect goes out the window. Son, you and I must never meet in real life, because I would knock the bejeezus out of you for even coming up with something as dumb as that. the "game" and its chats are moderated for a reason. Not because Zeta or his admin team are really bored and have nothing better to do than read forums...its because dunces feel that a forum is their right to release their mental bowels and it is not acceptable and should not be tolerated. Its either act on all or none. There is no middle ground to it.

Thats nice. You refference a player banned for cheating and still try to justify the insult. Had it been me insulted, I would make it public and have the player branded a racist/biggot/homophobic/sexist. Because its not right and should not be tolerated. And what Ryan is going on about is a whole other level of low. When you eventually grow up, and drop those silly one liners into conversation, people will walk away from you. Drop the one Ryan has and I promise you someone will take your head off for you. Because for the majority of society, those are not funny nor accepted.

If I actually knew who you were and where you are from (Russia I'm assuming from the mention of Putin) I would clarify that as being a fact rather than a joke. Please, if you dont understand something, keep quiet or get someone to explain it to you. And I am being nice about that.

Penguin....Im going to slow this conversation down so you can keep up. I am replying to Psykee. The conversation involves a matter that is not socially acceptable.

My discussion with you are based on points of view. That is a whole different spectrum. That is called a debate. Some things can be debated. Like why I think the UK sucks because its always raining. Or why the Baltic regions suck because of the reasons I would have justified. But to call an african/american a nigger, or insult a person for their sexuality or religion or in Ryan and Holly's case, to insult my late mother who passed after fighting cancer for 9 years as being a whore....we in a different conversation.

Well...you are misguided my friend because debate is discussing two opposite points of view on the same subject. As an example, to help you understand. I make the statement that the UK, where i live, sucks because it always rains. That is a statement I believe. There may be another person who loves rain that will want to challenge my statement, possibly by defending the fun to be had in a country in which it always rains. So in your case, the statement about whatever the conversation was about, was my point of view, and as anyone that has gone toe to toe with me, I will give 1001 reasons why i am defending that statement.

Now Psykee... insulting someone in the chatrooms and pm's is part of flaming when I flame you, i will flame your incompetence, actions you have done or things you have said. I dont know your family, but am quite sure your mother is a great woman. I would never insult that.

Now Fitesalot...slavery, biggotry, racism and homophobia were once socially accepted. The reason society shunned them is because enough people stood up to end those actions. To find a "flawed" element of a persons life (re: drugs and its affect on the family life) is not a reason to mock or use leverage over. It should be openly discussed, and people should change others points of view on it through a common sense approach. We are all different, yet have the same thing in common...biological/paternal parents and just the fact someone took the effort to bring you into this world is enough to warrant the respect and humility to your own mothers, and to any mother.

Thats an attack against you and a personal point of view. Not the same thing.

For those not understanding this. Just because some people feel its fun to mock each others mothers is fun, doesnt make it right. It should be stopped by dead in its tracks by any and all people who have the slightest element of respect for their own mothers.
The rest of the flaming and insults are not even comparable.

My grandfather died from cancer.  If someone on the forums made a joke about my grandfather.  I would first PM the player and let them know how I felt it about it.  Then I would see if the admin could remove the message.

If for some reason the player continued to harass me or make jokes about it, then I would report it to the admin and let him know that there is a major issue.  People toss around yo momma jokes all the time.  It might not be right and people should be more aware.  I slipped up and insulted someone.  I apologized and still apologize.  We even got people in our kingdom and allies who were religious to do a prayer for her.  I didn't mean to go over the line with it.

I did not continue with the jokes the moment I was made aware of my fault.  If I was, I would have said sorry and contacted admin to remove my post and been more cautious from that point on.  I was not contacted.

I vote that this topic as with my message on the zetamania topic be deleted.  I do not want someone to hurt Pimp any further.  We will all watch our mouths from this point on.

You will of course excuse my *beep*ishness in thinking that foul language regarding mothers was not offside seeing as that was my first interaction in game with your alliance.

So I apologise for inferring that your mother was purchasbale for a bag of potato or corn chips, she is deceased so this is obviously not the case, and btw playing the "my mommy died so that is offside" card is weak, almost as weak as trying to get the admins involved because you are being *beep*canned in the game after talking all sorts of trash. My mother passed away when i was 15 however rather than run whining to the admins like a 5 year old girl I took down Mr oneyes name and will be paying him a visit, INGAME.

and in terms of trash talk....I have upheld every promise including beating the armies pitted against me.  so far there is 8 of you vs 1 of me and im winning...and it would be so easy to mock your mother as a result of your own failures, but as in Pyskee's case I am sure she was a great mother. you just don't have a clue.

Thats the difference between smart and plain stupid. Smart would recognise that some things are wrong. Free speech is a privaledge earned by people who respected the common decency of people. However, not all free speech is free, as demonstrated by laws, not only in countries constitutions, but right down to the programming of public forums and chats, where we use scripts to eliminate words that are offencive or illegal to incite hatred. So "free speech" has its limits....and i posted this to both the forum and personally to VU to ensure the game is played in the spirit it is meant, and not a platform for people to spew foul obsenities
