05:03:37 Aug 15th 07 - Duke Drakos The Indomitable: Top 3 in each race and their overall spot. I added up the positions in each race to give us an overall number to help compare races. Listed races from best to worst as the overall total indicated. While it may be slightly skewed by peoples skills it pretty much follows the conventional wisdom in VU about which races are best, except Halfling, I think thats 1 up from where it should be due to Elsins excellent game skills. Dwarf: Dark Orion (#1), Lord Finwe(#2), Dudewhostolemynamecondhino(#3).......total=6 Troll: General Konichiwa(#8), Durza the Destroyer(#19), Lelouch the Dark Prince(#21).....total=48 Halfling: Elsin(#18), Katsumoto(#31), Amon Hen JR(#41)...total=90 Elf: Duke Drakos(#37), Demeter(#43), Althea(#58).....total=138 Human: My God it Farts(#14), Wolflord Karac(#64), Aloysius(#66)....total=144 Orc: Demonic Shezmu(#49), Elite(#50), Nieander(#84)....total=183

08:51:22 Aug 15th 07 - Mr. MY God Farts: that doesn't mean much because thats just the score and nothing else. Different things affect scores more than others. dwarf suck at the start because of their expensive magic. but they get good later on because of their cavemasters and extra stone from the mines. Human are one of the best early mages because of their cheap market also its easier for them to get higher sciences because of their cheap science. Orc nazguls are the best unit for their price but smaller armies don't give a high score Elf are very strong in magic after they get their magic science up high Halfling has some very impressive strategies with their adventurers (The strategy is a secret ;p) Trolls, well i dont know much about trolls because ive never played them before and probably never will.
18:36:05 Aug 15th 07 - Duke Drakos The Indomitable: As this is a tool for Final score the fact Dwarves start off slow is meaningless. This is simply a snapshot of the final score in each race, each may be slightly skewed by peoples skills, or lack thereof. Grade A players may run the lower scoring Races to better effect, but the range of scores is in line with the last few eras of finishes regardless of who is playing them. So this is somewhat indicative of each races strengths and attributes compared to the others. There are lots of things to take into consideration with final scores, science costs, economy, type of play(farmer/mage/fighter), etc... In example: True mages lose a lot on their final scores due to the fact they are constantly burning through mu's and mt's and using a good portion of their income to replace those units. Whereas most people build Mu's, and use them soley for army protection, so they don't burn through them and have to constantly replace them as a Mage does. This frees their income for other troops and building of their economy which is indicated by final scores. Thats why non mages or part time mages always finish higher than "true" Mages. Dwarves make out with Cavemasters, gives them added income and more importantly, defense at their mines, Orcs get screwed with upkeep, Trolls suffer from Science costs, etc.....

01:35:28 Aug 19th 07 - Sir Ness: "Dwarves make out with Cavemasters, gives them added income and more importantly, defense at their mines, Orcs get screwed with upkeep, Trolls suffer from Science costs, etc....." what he said ^^, I also believe cavers help alot cause they increase income without increasing land size, in essence more money and cheaper troops than if you were to build another mine ect.
01:42:58 Aug 19th 07 - Mr. Aloysius: wow, third place finish in human race. never imagined that. we should have some statistics page from every era.
