There are a few really good ones about the Korean, Vietnam and Cambodia wars Ive seen on torrent. Several hours long, with indepth history from several angles of each conflict. First they take the usual gung ho coverage of a battle, then the viewpoint from the opposing side, their struggles and suffering and then they go thru what weapons were involved on both sides as well.. all mixed in with footage from the actual war.

As far as regular documentaries goes.. havent seen that many.. Michael Moore's Sicko perhaps? Or if Good Night and Good Luck with George Clooney counts as a documentary.
