GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT. Secondly - Advertising - WTF - Do i look like im advertising something ...did i call myself google pimp. Criticism of a mod is based on their bias. You want to be a mod....moderate ALL...not just the bits you want. Stay on topic - The discussion had a VERY VALID question...who was a certain member of my KD. The KD made an effort to use themes for players names. I made REFERENCE to the players names by quoting links to THE WIKIPEDIA...not ebay fool. Had they asked what color is the sky - and i answered "Blue - Like this T Shirt available now on ebay for a credit crunch special offer price of 1-99...available in red yellow and green....get it now while stocks last"....then yes....sue me for advertising. But the WIKI....an Open Source Educational Reference Guide...WTF...get real.... I recall one mod questioning an army of mine...it was Named Scipio Africanus....the mod felt the name was offensive....when in fact it was named after one of the great Roman generals credited for bringing down Hannibal. Maybe they need some time to read some of the wiki....obviously school was a non-hit for them. So...I assume that straying off topic includes drawings of stickmen, referencing different cheese types and 90% of the other nub answers that get posted. Being a mod requires you to use the same brush to tar all...don't understand that phrase...go look it up. ______________________________________________________Well said my friend...well said... | ||||

It seems as if Michael himself has broken the rules. He has admitted to being a flamer, thus violating rule #2 right off the bat. Then there is a majority of Legacy, with one post I read of Swifty's involving him running into somebody's tavern (not ye olde taverne), whipping out his "penor", and "ejaculating all over their faces". So, if everybody wants to ban for not following the rules, it looks as if Swifty, Deallus, me, Cobra, and every flamer in Visual Utopia is going to get banned. That's probably a good chunk of the people who go on the forums. Good show! | ||||
| 15:33:23 Jan 9th 09 - Prince Valan Septim: Here we go, in a thread called Station: The Flame, Erunion Telcontar encourages people to practice their flaming to make them better at it, and quite a few people actually wanted to learn. So I guess those people should be banned too, and the thread locked. Funny how the moderators locked my thread about teaching proper sp@mming, when a thread about teaching proper flaming got on without a hitch. They both encourage the breaking of rules afterall!

| 20:33:16 Jan 9th 09 - Dark Lord Finwe: you guys are a joke. you whine when you get banned, if you dont heed clearly posted warnings of "stop talking off topic" by a mod then what do you expect? there is no warning system (although there should be one) and no msg of what mod did what(tho there should be one) so ban is the only solution. All mods are biased? considering i dont know any of you at all, (never even heard of pimp before he got banned) The ONLY person ive ever got forum banned was from my own kd? oh wait im bias against my kd eh. you say there was no warning but even i can see a "Stay on topic" post in the thread..

We have our own guidelines on how to mod each section. *beep* is tolerated much more in hangaround then anywhere else. Voting for mods is the stupidest idea ive heard of as being a mod is not about popularity. if it was we wouldnt be able to delete things for fear of being voted out ;) | ||||

I have seen (and can produce) posts that belittle, harass, have sexual conentation and a variety of other 'guidelines' violations, yet last week after a series of flaming on fighting posts I posted 'good times, good times indeed :)' and it was deleted. Objectivity should be the guideline for Mods, not the current 'I don't like him cause he said something bad about me so I will delete his posts' method of Moderation. I could care less about Pimp, what really bothers me is the younger generations acceptance of 'rule enforcement' be it a VU mod, world wide corporations, the police or their government. I see a bigger picture, it's just a game and not the Supreme Court. | ||||

| 01:38:46 Jan 10th 09 - Sir Caradoc: i flashed the finger at the Admin and the Moods a few time, mostly Zeta. im aprecitave of the game he has made for all of us, i just hate him. iv never been banned before. on regards to Septim, you are a fool for that first post. everything you highlighted refered to you as far as im concerning. also if each of those statements were to taken literaly all the time, you, and 90% of the other forum people in the "suggestion and ideas" section of the forum would be banned. so *beep* Septim (and Moods on this rediculous ban that should not have been made. lets not forget Johnson was impeached but congress did not take him out of power. why? because they knew what he did was technically against the rules but also realized just because you dont like someone you dont need to get ride of them) | ||||
