I mean, come on, this one, along with Karta6, need to go :(

I anticipate having a "whose blocker is better" fest, each packed out with 2 million troops each as people starve to death for lack of food and no trees for rebuilding magic towers as orcs parade along the outside, burning everything.

Granted, this may make for epic Stronghold Crusader style combat, but still, it's going to be awful.

So this era only House Baratheon is a large kingdom,

Other competitive kingdom should be Forgotten Warriors who do not recruit

That leaves the people without a kingdom to join kingdom where Kath is in the leadership. That can't be good.

If anyone else is making a kingdom please write it down, so people that do not have a kingdom have options if they want a challenge. Joining a large kingdom as House Baratheon would not be too interesting, with this map the winner is already decided just due to numbers.

I do not like this map.

This is my first time playing it and I have a city not far from the mountains with 60,000 mines that doesn't get any mining bonus. I kind of like the oasis/desert theme but I don't like how lumber is done.

As for this Era, I have high hopes. House Baratheon is numerous and strong, but our enemies in Forgotten Warriors and the vanquished White Walkers are powerful for their size and respectable.

House Baratheon is first, with a decent lead, have been for a while
If you take a look at battles:

House Baratheon
Battles won: 56
Battles lost: 71

Forgotten Warriors
Battles won: 65
Battles lost: 12

Which is slightly confusing, due to Baratheon having the lead
Out of 6 people on HoH, 4 are Baratheon and 2 are Forgotten Warriors

So give us some information, who did House Baratheon lose so much against?
What is the situation, did anyone break into anyone's cores? Where are you guys at this moment?

FW is currently pushed Baratheon out.

FW is making counter-offensive attack.

Baratheon moved to the defensive.

Baratheon has been killing off the many smaller kingdoms and have 3/4 of the map under their rule.

Baratheon were in our crater for most of the era and took towns in the other three. We recently kicked them out of our crater and now we have armies in their original core. Waiting to see if any other big Baratheon armies appear.

This hasn't changed much since protection.

One thing that's nice about the Desert map is that the teleport spell actually works when you successfully cast it because there's so much empty space, as opposed to maps like Shatteredworlds.

Oh why are you disbanding, its the only larger kingdom that stands chance against FW other than Collective when I manage to collect enough people. I hope RoC will have enough people, if I do not get enough for Collective could I join RoC?

Just check Mant highscores previous eras, with exception of AoA for 1 era, only Collective managed to beat them 4 eras, all other were FW wins, its annoying :-) thats why I bring people from another game to play an era here to fight FW

Was it an important lucky roll of the dice?

Did many in Baratheons go inactive like previous era against us?

How many actives did Forgotten Warrirors have this era?

Did Baratheons make a major mistake in tactic, like last era when they left our north team to take down half of their core?

FW has alot of skill and was extremely active.

FW got some great kills on us, I assume rather low chances when they took a couple vital cities that delivered a devastating blow to us.

We had 3 of our skilled players sit out ...again. But we had about 80% of our kingdom active, I cant complain about that.

FW seemed to be on 24 Ticks a day.

A major mistake could have been my decision to send 75% of my Kingdom towards FW and 25% towards White walkers and the rest of Mantrax, and although the campaign to take over the rest of Mantrax was successful FW defeated our intial advance and pushed into our core. Once FW was able to bunker down in a single 110K city it was game over. We lost atleast 4 powerful armies attempting to expel FW from that city.

I will admit I was completely useless except for casting some utility spells for the first half of the era. I didnt do anything useful until the blockers were breached and my 400K mages became useful freezing the many armies FW sent.

That will change next era. Well done FW! it was fun.

You really expect Forgotten Warriors to change the name they have been using for the last 600 years? They will not change the name, not to mention RoC is also coming back, not a GoT name, and I am also trying to see if I can get enough people in Collective, people are not going for that theme on this world. Try it on Valhalla or maybe even Zeta?

Planning and timing.

After taking over 3/4 of Mant they had the econ to match the armies we sent at them. Some of them did end up training stronger armies than we had, but we were already inside.

Was it an important lucky roll of the dice?

no.

Did many in Baratheons go inactive like previous era against us?

A few seemed to once we were inside their core.

How many actives did Forgotten Warrirors have this era?

We had 6 drop by mid protection. One of those had very low activity mid era for RL reasons.
A few more dropped after we made it inside their core.

Did Baratheons make a major mistake in tactic, like last era when they left our north team to take down half of their core?

They didn't overreach this era. If I was going to attack other craters I would have sent a similar number of players.

Maybe army make-up. I was seeing spammy armies for a lot longer than I expected to, and from people who I expected to send level 3/5 troops.

They had lots of spam inside our core early. Only calling that a mistake because they couldn't kill us.

We/I didn't even know arma was going to be cast let alone organise a vote. Imo it was cast early. Baratheon still have two craters!

We had an internal core war that we had to fight long before we even dealt with FW, which gave them 2 weeks to farm. Simple as that.
