Hey all, I've been thinking, with all the talk about KD imbalance and Valhalla losing what seems like a decent chunk of its playerbase. I thought about the idea of splitting Renaissance into multiple groups and having us draft members for each KD (Like on GvE) and agreeing not to NAP each other. Then I thought this could be done with multiple people and multiple KDs if interested. Does that seem like something people would be interested in? There's only 2 Kingsoms left on the world with more than 5 members right now, so shaking that up seems like it could be beneficial. | ||||

Five people who are "outcasts" and would not be selected anyways will most likely team up and we'll make sure its five members, so we will confirm another 5 people taking part of the shuffle. | ||||

Because then at least 4-5 people will not have a team because nobody will pick players with "reputation" and I rather have the same rep than let me friends be without a kingdom next era :) | ||||

One of the many reasons I want to do this is to mix things up and play with different people and maybe we can all learn some things. | ||||
I'm down on just me being me now. I don't want to abandon a kingdom that I've held since April 2016. I don't think I've been active enough in recent years to compete against larger kingdoms. If there are any players who are less active and specifically want to play more defensively or practice defensive building and mobilization (Orc, Elf, Human, Halfed) I am happy to bring some people on. | ||||
big, you could captain and keep the flag same for jenna and anyone else we should start the draft early though so its not a jumbled mess... can somoene organize? | ||||
Well as part of SSiB I also apply for the draft, like all other members I believe. I would like to not be captain thought, look forward to just being a fighter :) | ||||

Bigfield: Not everyone in a KD needs (or should) fo the same thing. A balanced KD is crucial. But if you are a captain and draft people you can always draft people based on their playstyles HorusPanic:Definitely agree getting it done sooner rather than later makes a lot of sense | ||||
The faster you guys get on this, the more likely it is to succeed. Maybe identify who's captaining, make a Discord for everyone involved, something like that? | ||||

@Sable I definitely get that. But it's been a source of frustration when good and hyper focused players feel chained when the rest of the team isn't prepped to extend so far at the same time. I don't want to be disrespectful of players' time who exclusively or almost exclusively expect to push across the map OOP. I'm not going to be able to provide the coordination for that style. | ||||

Also probably by the time Val ends I can only assume Mant (I have to skip this era 😞) will be half way through….. if that and depending on what’s going on in Fant (Im not on Fant); Valhalla would be my only character so I’d definitely say it’d be my 100% main focus lol I mostly was in a “war lord” title or capacity back in the old VU days and had the reigns mostly of SSB 2 eras ago while Faf was busy due to RL (SSB did win that era not even 2 weeks in 😝) So I’d definitely be up to be a captain 🤷🏽♂️🫡 | ||||

Could someone be nice and write here approx when next era starts, not now but when a major battle happens that might turn the tide of the map. I died in Valh already due to series of bad decisions, but Mant starts soon, I will focus there but I could take a look here from time to time. Thanx! | ||||

I think the only way for everyone to give their best is to have one character and just focus on that. More characters just give distractions and I already am thinking if I get in trouble on Mantrax I will just focus on next Valhalla era and that is a very bad mindset. | ||||
