Writing here as a new player, and completelly new in the world of Zetamania, wanted to give it a shot with great walls and merges, ended up having most trouble with proper placements of blockers that ended up our core being walked in twice this era.

No matter how poorly we did this era, and sure we did make huge mistakes, but we did our best, and I would like to thank Aisha and Jenna for helping us with advices and teaching us about things here, thought I must point out other vets are making this game very difficult, as you all say, its very newbie unfriendly. Thought Anonymous was kind enough to reply to my message about how did they walk in the core. Later we fought out even earlier in the era that Anon had ownaged Naz army from Lumpercat who became super inactive and unresponsive after he became apprentice of Barny, even laughting about how we lost huge cities when his Naz army got ownaged, instead of letting us know what actually happened, we wrecked one city cause we thought it did not block, because of lack of information there. Just saying it would be very cool of you to let us know what actually happened since you want to make VU wiki, and you want to give so much time and effort into that, laughting about us behind our back about our poor performance is not the way to go.

This is just something I wanted to complain about, even thought I said I will not follow example of everyone, after every era, people just complain about it, but I will rather congratulate to Death Dealers for war well fought, not won still, but very close to it, very well done guys.

Lamperkat is a player I introduced to the game. Along with one or two other players his attitude towards the game is not in line with the current community in some ways, but I doubt he was trying to be bad-mannered and I personally apologize if that was the case.

Lamperkat (and honestly myself as well) just thought it was 'funny' how one of the first things I told him to do ended up playing out- in an unpredictable and noob-unfriendly way. I told him to make 200~ nazgul and attack someone to get a feel for the game after telling him it was NOT noob friendly and starting late sucks, and then it INSTANTLY got ownaged from him and turned against his KD. He didn't even realize what happened until I explained it to him (possibly why his first reaction to 'XXXX Is no longer under your control' didnt prompt him to tell you a blocker didnt block...) at which point he went from feeling whatever new players feel when they experience something awful and quitting the game to immediately to realizing the comedy of having his nooby late-starting nazgul ownaged by an Orc with magic 7. Im pretty sure at that point he went inactive and just starting stuffing Hammerthrowers and Nazgul into merges for you guys, because I told him that is a good way to contribute if you don't want to play the world anymore.

I may have a character on Zetamania that has been top HoH all era, but stomping noobs or making fun of them is FAR from my purpose. The 'worst' ive done is train a very large army for a merge to protect my KD after I lost them a merge to you at 100% because I fell asleep and accidentally fucked over 3 KD members by doing so.

I never said anything till I figured out you are Testingthings, so you knew what happened, and just saying that it would be very newbie friendly if you had actually sent a message to us saying what actually happened, so we would know how to react better to that case, thought I don't think we could have done anything in that situation.

Fact is we had tons of mistakes this era, like leaving magic town totally undefended that got taken by those Nazguls right the same tick, which hurt us the most till we got the magic power back. But we learn from our mistakes and we will do our best to do better next time. I did want to ask, if anyone on Zeta is up for help, could you tell me is it possible to attack city "Ressurect" from other side of the river, I saw an army trying to go there, or maybe they were just walking around Evil Beneath, I never know what distance is needed for river prep...

But the biggest mistake, which makes Zetamania r3tarded world is the bug using orc scout to move huge merge at double speed. That makes no sense, and it just gives active people huge advantage, it is the only reason why we lost this fast, our big merge was in the other blocker and you guys managed to walk to the other blocker, get inside and take half of the core, all while I was sleeping. Makes no sense to have such a huge bug in the game

You can't attack Ressurect from the other side of the river, on this map river preping is not as much of an issue. I walked around Evil Beneath through the north and took it.

I treated this as one of those 'new player got massively plundered moments' so I didn't want to throw my new player/friend Lamperkat under the buss, but I will accept that I should have messaged Aisha, Jenna, and Force when I realized what happened (maybe Anonymous too?). Definitely should have messaged Aisha in skype at the very least as I know she was active. Lamperkat thought his Nazgul had 'rebelled on him' based on the news log and figured Anonymous somehow got into his core as I warned him that Anon was an active player, but when he sent me the news log I immediately realized what happened and laughed about how it was actually much worse than Nazgul BTing into the core and how a new player (Lamperkat) had NO WAY of even knowing what happened to him.

As far as new player kingdoms go I think you played your hand pretty well, and you guys have reasoned through your mistakes well too.

I actually wasn't aware of some Zetamania merge mechanics (thus how I lost a merge and figured out about Orc bugged forcemarch with merges myself etc).

hey Abomination there are lots of things that can go wrong. Ask an ally for help about blocking. usually they are willing to help out about what blocks and what doesn't. I like orcs leading armies going faster. It gives them a nice trick up their sleeve. Humans usually win the era though due to 200 k cities so it is nice the races have different strong points and depends on who you fight against.

If Dexter didn't NAP with DD or we had a bit more luck the era would have been a lot different. inactivity and missed rolls can really change the whole war. Anyway fret not it is almost over and I hope you stick around.

I am still here, but I have decided I will not play Zetamania any more, that type of world is not for me. I am testing out a few things on Valhalla, but that one is also annoying due to 50% rule, so will be looking to go to another world that has no merges or great walls, we will see what opens next. It was still a good learning experience and thanx for an interesting era on Zeta :)
