no it was roughly five cities , and its not scouting , i had fog of war on , i could see most of the world , so maybe i jus missed them

If you haven't paid for your title, your LOS is limited, even within your fog of war visible area. Bear Machines has more than 5 cities. And they can't be near extinction yet, because the war hasn't even started properly.

Haha Ninja, don't scream until you know the facts. Fact is that I set the army path about 70 "days" ago. That was when the city was smaller and there was a large enough gap for me to put my army through. This whole click movement thing is amazing for getting past blockers. What really is bullshit is me losing at 93% on your city so I couldn't take it before you froze me and made the city invisible so I can't attack it. Which by the way is a good move, I am impressed.

Lol, we have made the mistake of not getting alliances early on before. And we hope to ally with Music in the future. Having no alliances isn't being strong, it's being stupid ;) And with just 9 players it helps. And please don't blow up your city, I'll take it off your hands.

Once again, whats it matter if you want to ally in the future. Thats just ridiculous to say. My first age back in VU, I warred against TBL's kingdom. Guess what, we don't hate each other after it. I use the example of chess earlier. Its a game, so what if you play against your friends. If they are really your friends, theyll be friendly after you beat them/get beat by them too.

Unconnected worlds are too small for this kind of behavior.

I had a blocker that didn't block so I got killed while trying to bring troops to the new front. I also got attacked from the back by Don Kichotas.

Talk about my big mouth when you manage to be top player of the world, top 3 most fearsome for half the era when being in a 2 man-kingdom.

This kind of behavior? Since when has having one alliance when you're a really small Kingdom a taboo? I realize you have 3 people in your kingdom and no alliances, congratulations. So what? One alliance isn't bad... :/ Especially since they were on the complete other side of the map and we warred PoFF alone for almost the entire era. I don't know what would have happened if Music hadn't come in, but it was a great battle and would have continued to have been.

We would have prefered to battle a big veteran kingdom, but with the worlds closed Zeta made that impossible, now we had to set a goal for ourselves to not get bored and that was clearing whole the map and napping only one KD.

Hmm. I think I will be not playing next era, since it's taking too much time again. I am still planning my own MMORPG strategy game, and have been for some years but never got to it. I think I will be spending my time trying to get own world balanced and playable instead of VU. Just showing some sportsmanship, I will not be advertising the game here though.

Which ever the case might be, but I will be saying farewell to Music and anyone else who might know me here, for now. But first we will finish this era. My goal is to be on the top of fearsome rulers, so let's see how it goes.

Hey they learned that this game is not easy because not all games are easy. You have to try and try again to do better. You are helping them in a way.

I've little interest in argueing with you but I have made it abundantly clear that alliances are fine. I've no qualm with naps or alliances. I know I've said it in this post a few times, and I fear I will end up saying it a few more times at this rate. I've just said from the start that in my opinion you need to take some responsibility for which alliances you make. Alliances should be made for a reason. A logical reason for an alliance would be for two weak kingdoms to team up against a strong one. What is the point in making an alliance on the foundation of "They are nice guys" or "Their banner is pretty looking, I love unicorns, so lets nap them".

What bothers me the most is how earlier you said that you NAP music because you knew if you stood against them, your kingdom would get killed due to your inexperience. So, you had the opportunity to stand side by side with poff and fight music, who has some pretty good players. It would have been a pretty fair and balanced battle. You would have faced many challenges and be exposed to certain tricks that would give your players the experience they need. Maybe you would have made some friends and future potential recruits. Instead, you choose to ally with music, and fight a kingdom filled with many inexperienced or else inactive players. So rather than gather any experience and skills, you have wasted a round playing against a kingdom with a great number of newbies. Killing them has taught your players little to nothing. Maybe the newer guys have learned some basic skills but that is about it. Nothing compared to what you would learn playing against a kingdom that should have been in fantasia.

My kingdom really has almost nothing to do with this discussion and contrary to what you seem to strangely believe, I am not here to draw attention or heap praise upon myself by any means. Before I answer your first question however, I think you are still expressing the same mentality of people who are used to playing on connected worlds. Since when is having one alliance a bad thing? I'd say having one alliance is a big deal when the world only has 3 kingdoms still standing 2-3 days out of protection. Its the equivalent of making an alliance with half the kingdoms on the map. Now, it's especially bad when the two most experienced kingdoms decide to team up against the lowly new kingdom that is trying to survive while taking new player recruits. Its especially bad when those two kingdoms(music/bow) in total have been between 3 and 4 times as powerful as the other kingdom(poff) the entire round.

Do you really need me to explain to you by what magnitude of lame having just "one alliance" in this situation is? When that "one alliance" partner has been 2.5 times as powerful as the second best kingdom all round. When that "one alliance" is stronger than the rest of the map combined? Your kingdom was 3rd place. You were the ones left with the responsibility of providing balance to the map to create an entire era of fun, but challenging conflict. Instead of taking the challenge, it seems that your kingdom has cowardly backed away from it in fear and instead decided to just tip the scales even further against the new guys.

Don't get me wrong, I know people act in their best interests. No one really wants to get wiped out this round or any other. But I really think your two kingdoms allying against music might have had a chance to make a really interesting round. Instead I hear things from bow like "Well PoFF has the most members of any kingdom here so we all thought they would kill everyone" and at this point I just hope for your sake that you were lying to me and did not actually believe such a thing.

Not gonna read all of that post, cause I feel it's not neccessary. What I'd like to point out from reading the first few paragraphs is that you don't know the situation in Zet.

If you ask any of the players on either kingdom you would know that it was a very even duel. These new players have great help from Jonny, who has played for many eras. We were outnumberd around 2:1, but our experience made up for that almost evenly. And I beg to differ with your statement about them learning basic skills. I had many conversations with almost every Paladin I fought with. I gave every one of them as much advice as they wanted, and I'd bet that they'd say they have learned a lot, from fighting and conversing.

Are you saying that we should have NAPed Paladins against whoever won the Music/Fed OOP war? Lol! You mean you would rather us farm for 70% of the era with Paladins while they duked it out and killed the smaller kingdoms? It was an amazingly even fight between us and Paladins, both sides are very glad the war occured, I assume.

I wholeheartedly agree with dent. This has been a great war and honestly a lot of fun while it was just the two of us fighting. Now that music has finally come for us our chances for survival have plummeted and the enjoyment has dipped, but only slightly. We're still making plans, pumping troops, and merking armies. We may get slaughtered by music in the end but that's life in this game, as I've pointed out before. They've allready allied against us and unless BoW or Music decide to turn traitor, not likely in my opinion, that's not going to change any time soon. The only thing you can do is fight hard and lay down your plans for the next era. So please stop whining about how OD the music Bow alliance was and live (or die as the case may be) with it.

Heya Path!

I thank you for the many nice compliments we get. (No sarcasm here)

Though I have to say that if Music landed on Fantasia this era, we would have most likely died very early because of the NAP politics used there. Music currently lacks both the numbers and the experience to either get an agreement with a kingdom strong enough to survive/win or to become a competing power on our own. We have played the past 2 eras with a stronger playerbase than we have now and lost both times. (even multiple times during the same era). Because of bad decisions on my part and because of not getting the desired agreements.

I know connected worlds and the setup we have now can't be compared, but when making our BoW-Music agreement, we were expecting a lot of resistance from both POFF and The Federation. As both those KD's survived way longer than Music during the past era(s). We would've like a more intense battle too, but its not going to happen this era.
