I pretty much dislike making relations with the newer kingdoms. They are far too willing to break a NAP. IMO most NAPs put in place are usually era long. Maybe im old fashioned lol. But i find those older players and kingdoms which abide by this far more trusting and easier to play with/get along with.

There are many in this game who by their word alone i can trust not to touch me or any of my kingdom simply just because they have honoured every single NAP agreement I/we have made.

Of course im not saying we've never broken a NAP but thats only in very very rare occasions (and with notice given) where everything completely breaks down and the only way to resolve the matter is to fight a bitter war. Usually though that takes place the following era after the forum wars ;)

@ Duran Dark Elf, the majority of VU (with the exception of a certain KD this era) will not NAP someone they hate, despite it being in their benefit.

Generally speaking (apart from the unmentioned KD) would rather keep relations with close friends, those whom they like and get on with for many eras to come. Others think only of the present and end up fucking themselves over in the long run and losing allies.

You're wrong Insane :). We even had a 500k army go back through a blocker, have the blocker closed AND go around to show you guys how it's done...don't try to deny it.

Scout mergin' helps too, but if you're really patient, you don't even need that.

ONE army got let thru - The 500k that Ignis mentioned. That was a judgement error from one of our members and it was fixed VERY fast by us asking Phi to go back through to the other side. No harm came from that incident at all.

That city was never opened again, if you'd used your eyes, you'd have seen Phi walking past the city in that gap that YOU, Dendarii, showed them how to use in the first place.

The blockers around the shared area we had we closed only AFTER Dendarii left their side open, allowing direct access from the Fant border into our shared area. If you'd kept your side closed whilst we had ours open, we would have been more than happy to leave them open permanently. The only reason they even got built in the first place is because Dendarii didn't HAVE any working ones from their "core" into the adjoining area until we built ours.

Yes i'm making a big deal about one of your members blatantly disregarding our NAP for his own benefit. His response left a lot to be desired from a KD who approached US for a NAP, as did the attitudes of your vices.

I had asked them to open the gates and they did by mistake and it caused an upset... so I had to go all the way back away from a city that I was about to take and went through the blockers and then the city in question (Absvillon) was closed again and I scout merged/amazingly manuvered :P around the cities to finally get to the core. So how can you be mad at them when they tried so hard to stop the relations from being ruined by asking me to bring my army back and try again! you guys are pathetic, Bunnies did nothing wrong and you guys are just complaining cause my army butraped you guys and you are trying to blame bunnies for your pathetic armies. You left that front open and we took advantage.

Ah well, a city or two is an acceptable price to pay to show how dishonourable a KD can be when things don't go their own way.

For what it's worth, we could have turned on Dendarii at ANY time if we wanted to use that spastic MAP overrides NAP clause (one i think is quite stupid tho :p), but we didn't. We chose to honour the NAP we made with you. Needless to say it's a decision we now regret.

Learn to read much? Pyrotechnics was left open and I myself plotted a course around Metropolis. I didn't say your other 'blockers' were open, I said there was a direct path to Fant. I only wish I'd taken a screenshot of the path set, but didn't think anything of it back then.

Pyrotechnics was open for a LONG time and considering we'd already been attacked from your direction once by TC, we couldn't be sure enough about your blockers so made our own. Don't like it? Tough sh-t really, we were blocking our OWN cities off, you still had access to yours, albeit by an indirect path (or you could, like, ask for us to open when you were ready to set path thru, too).

All of that aside, you still broke our NAP in a deliberate and intentional act. You can try to twist that any way you want but that fact cannot be changed, no matter how disgruntled you were with anything else that went on during the era.

Also, instead of throwing a little tanty like a bunch of 5 year olds, try having a mature discussion about you're problems in future. You might just find there are better ways to solve disagreements aside from breaking agreements you've already made.

Jondrus, our NAP says for blockers to be closed. They were. Non blockers nowhere near you don't need to be kept closed just because you say so.

Forgotten. There's a slight difference between a mistake in opening a blocker that causes NO damage and is fixed immediately.. and losing a 50k city in a calculated attack. If you can't see the difference there then you're a bigger fool than you appear to be.

When a mistake was made on our end, I bent over backwards to get it fixed for you guys. What have you lot done aside from make excuses and laugh about it? That's right, not a damn thing.
