Weak. There are almost half a dozen kd's gearing up to land  on fant in the next couple of eras. There's no sense in a motley crew of strangers heading to fant, that is the main dif between the kds of each world and the majority of players are realizing it. That's why they are training in communication and getting to know each other better now so they can come later to fant with at least a snowball's chance.

The Best place to build and train a kd is on fant. Mant is pointless. Last era we had at least 14 new members. You grow as a kd when under threat. only the hell fires of Fant can forge a great kd

i know how to spell. my typing can stand improvement, especially when my thoughts are going so fast and i do not pay attention to wether or not i hit each key properly. and sometimes this keyboard screws up. it is a remote keyboard and if i don't have it facing the infra red source, i get screwy sentences and messeges. i never learned  to type by looking at the screen, i must look at the keyboar, so i never know how it turns out until i am done typing. and if i hit send before i remember to check it, then all my mistakes go along with it.

as for spelling...i always got 100's on spelling tests and competed in spelling bee's. when you see something like the above for me it is a typos. i will admit however there are words i do not know how to spell.

You don't simply go to the harshest environment with a new KD and 'learn' there.

You don't learn to train as a front line soldier in Iraq (Fant) when you join, you put into a squad, (KD), and train in similar circumstances, (Mant). When do you 'ever' go to the hardest possible area in anything when it's your first time...?

I'm not even going to go in to the whole KD morale, leaving due to not winning etc etc of it all.

I can only hope that you didn't mean people should start a brand new KD, which you implied by saying build a KD, and play in Fant or my opinion of intelligence of Fant players has just dropped a few levels.

You make out that people in Mant just sit in Mant and that's it, with no hopes of going to Fant, well, that's a ridiculous statement to make really, for many, many reasons.

Mant KDs training against each other and then when they come up, they get smashed straight away because they think they are ready.

And so coming to fant with ZERO training is supposed to IMPROVE their chances? Wake up, fant is a better training ground only when you go their with fant vets. Going there as nubs gains you nothing at all. It isn't like aby or lgc or whatever are gonna explain why it is that they owned you when you're a new kd. I understand the theory of better competition equalling better learning, but in practice it doesn't work that way. I think some people have forgotten what it was like when they were new.

Going to Fant with a nub KD sucks. OOP you get gangbanged.

@ Clamps: You make a good argument but I would have to disagree on several of your points. Fant is a good training ground for newbs. I myself was a newb who started on Fant. Sure i got killed off more times then i could count in the first3-4 eras, but i persisted. Most of what i know either came from learning from my own mistakes or from Fant vets who took the time show me what i did wrong and what i should have done (BTK and Raist was really good about this with me) In fact i am confident that most of the Fant players now learned the same way......

I am sorry if it seems arrogant, not meaning for it to be. But Fant is the prime training and proving ground.

It is. and it will. ask those who kill you for tips etc make some friends and you will be better in your third era then a kd that has been on mantrax for 7
