I never asked for an NAP - I only asked why they were allowing members to attack us when i thought we were in negotiations to establish an NAP... Note that his reply was 'i will consult my council' - and he never actually got back to me, so i was under the impression he was not exactly interested in preventing a war.

Greetings, Master and Adronicus have indicated that they wish to attack us by their silence, words and actions. Is the policy of DR to wage war on predators? From what i understood, our two kingdoms had been making inroads into coming up with some sort of arrangement mutually beneficial to all parties. Please reply with any clarifications to your stance on this issue. Master and Adronicus have received ample warning to move their armies away from the predators cities in question. I will add that later on he claimed we had a NAP when no such agreement was made via Darkmarsbar or myself. It was not in our forums. We were initially interested in an NAP when we landed in Mantrax, but i must say i was not aware of any thing of the sort being officially agreed too.

I will be happy to clarify any other issues you may have. For future reference, it is easy to ask for an NAP with us, all that you need to do is message Darkmarsbar and say 'We would like an NAP with Preds', and we will get back to you with an answer.

Hello, Several of my kingdom members have told me that you or members of your kingdom have told them that we have an NAP. Did Darkmarsbar make an official NAP with you recently? It has not been posted as a treaty yet, so if it has been done recently i apoligize. Mr. Unfortunate of [DR] has taken over a city belonging to mr. mager. This is a continuing pattern of attacks by members of DR that keep getting explained away as mistakes. I am finding it more difficult to counsel my fellow predators that this is not some sort of hostile campaign against us by DR.

And that's it. Unless your message was never delivered by the message system, i have never received any indication you agreed to or sought an NAP. I only heard continuing rumors that you had it out for legion and predators for what happened last era, and the movements of your armies and your refusal to communicate promptly and clearly only confirmed my suspicions that war was imminent.

On matters as important as war and peace, i always reply to at least confirm that I have received a message, and to ask for clarification on anything that is not clear. I'm sorry if there was some mix up either on your part, may part, or the message system's part - but that is no justification to claim we broke an NAP when there was no official NAP in the first place. Silence is not agreement.

I must say, however this war turns out, this fight with DR has already made my era. There are some good players in DR and we are about to enter a test of will and arms with them, one that will decide the fate of both DR and Preds for most of the rest of the era.
