jlt is an awesome army builder/late era player, hence why i always play in same kd with him.. as for bling he has super activity, super skills and a foul mouth lol .. unfortunately for me its my buisest time work wise.. i dont have my old wireless net anymore, i could also log into vu from my laptop as i drive.. i used to do it before lol.. also smashed my phone a few days ago so need to wait a week for new one.. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Has Mantrax been this crowded, filled with people for a long time? I mean I took a long break, returned this era, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised just how many kingdoms there are, lots of people. Very entertaining and fun era!
Our vision sucks, we would like an update on other parts of the map :) After Ferox took the first place few days ago, Collective managed to do some damage and reclaim the first position again. RoC is coming back, rebuilding and getting strong again, glad to see them strong after a bad start this era :) I think as we pushed into Ferox core, some of them must have returned and therefore less pressure on RoC. Have no vision over anyone else, so all is a guessing game now :) Fact is that while back we had 20-25 active players in the game, I am glad to see things are better, thumbs up for everyone :) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In RoC we have the 'accept new players' option on and we actually see about 1 new player per day. Unfortunately, they drop and immediately become inactive. I've been trying to message them as soon as they join and noone messages back. They are either REALLY new or fuckups/multis. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

4k houses? what are you casting on scouts? 100k mages mid-game cannot cast on a reasonably sized army. that 50% rule is nonsense , I'll always build 15k - 20k ... my losses may be high but i'll hit you across the map ....Definitely always have 10-15k homes to house my mages too | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

One magic casting unit give .2 magic power per magic science. When casting from a magic town, that is boosted by the magic towers ratio in that town up to a maximum of 50% total bonus. That is why if a magic tower want maximum percentage boost to magic power, it must have at minimum 50% magic tower in the casting city. "25k MTs and 50k Houses. Can stop even at least a 500k AMs army." This town for example give a 33% boost to magic power. It's not a bad boost but it's also not the most efficient. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
For several eras I have been doing only magic, together with another kingdom mage, and we always read forums and ask people about advice, check guides and stuff. Its incredible in how many places in forums we saw that so many people claim 20 or 25k magic towers gives so called maximum range, same like 2k guard towers give maximum vision range (which is I believe true, have not tested it thought). But you always have to take into consideration most of what people say is just their personal opinion, what they think the situation is. But one thing we tested, the other mage and myself, is the range thing. And having 20 or 25k mage towers does NOT give you maximum range, that is for sure. We have tested it, I had 40k mage towers and the other mage had 25k and my range was much longer, and I could cast on much higher distance. Fact is that my ever cast was more expensive than hers, because I have "too many" mage towers. Most people say having 40k mage towers is not worth it, and its probably right. I just like having the ability to cast several times before I have to rebuild the towers... Do I destroy my towers casting the same amount of casts like the other mage that has less mages, due to having higher costs? I believe the costs are not that much higher and I always go to gain 40k mage towers, no matter what people say. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
And you are right about that. ALOT of people post stuff that they don't know for sure. There is no max range on magic towers. Just a diminishing return on radius range. For example, if 10k towers can cast 1.5 screen radius, you would need around 40k-60k for a 3 screen radius. We just got vision over the end of the map in the west area, and I must say I am quite surprised, when Hanky told me they got bullied there and they had to pull back, I thought he was joking. I can not believe you lost against that Donald guy. I mean all of RoC had to restart except that guy, so you guys had Bling, Hanky, Coolcat (maybe someone else?) against Donald and maybe Dragon and few of the newish players...
