i would say, that for the time i was in abydos, we definately have won several era's ... as a kingdom, that is. but i geuss it's only the individual highest score that's the most important (probably irrelevant to some :-p )
i would not say we 'abused' bugs ...

Second of all, read a few lines up. Do you see the "Osi you suck" line? Osi knows why they had to relinquish the crown that era. It's a personal matter. He doesn't really hate DB. He has the hots for me coz i screwed him out of the coveted crown. Yet he didn't resort to making the game unplayable for everyone in order to get to me. So how about you just shut up and go do what i suggested... namely... commit suicide.

The KD with the most points doesn't win an era, it's the KD with the individual winner. Else Zeta would not name eras after people, but after KDs.

No Auspice. Most people distinguish between KD winners, and round winners. You're trying to lump the two together here.
A KD win is a collective win, where an assortment of players together are given the victory. Hence why rounds like this: http://visual-utopia.com/hoh.asp?round=19 are accredited to the "Legacy" camp of individual KDs, and not yours. Why you ask?
You won the round on points, through the sheer existence of an XP-fed army. Now I'm not disputing you won the round as an individual, I won't talk about the bug abuse as that isn't a point here. But your KD did not win the around, just as you're trying to suggest it did. The rest of your "KD" was dead and in protection (being used for the free-BTs restarted accounts gave), and you only had 1 city remaining between the lot of you. LGC on the other hand held all spots from 2-11, 5/6 of the map and a lot of other spots in the top 20 come the round end. You might of managed to steal the #1 spot and the individual win, but not the KD win.
Hence why a KD victory, while not "acknowledged" by ZeTa in the sense that a round gets named after them like a era winner would, is usually distinguished in it's own right by the community.
You won that round as a player. But it wasn't a KD victory.

Era 19 was 3 person KDs. There was no "LGC" KD that era per se. There was a big LGC alliance which felt the need to have 15+ vets allied on a map with 40 players total, and a lot of them very weak players.
Anyhow, "KD wins" are looked at by most as secondary to individual wins. "KD wins" are kind of subjective also. This is because most points often = biggest KD and not the best or most skilled. See Carnage for an example. Their overall points are usually higher than LGC but per player they're usually weaker.

secondary to most meaning you = most? because an individual win means jack if your whole kd dies. its a kd based game or why have them at all? lets just go solo as kds mean jack

Hehe, Auspice might not have practiced a fair game but as far as I've heard, people these days resort to a great deal of trouble in order to secure the first spot for themselves.
One thing is when you just fight all era and through coincidence and/or skill end up on first place and another when you either farm or are left/helped to conquer an entire core by your mates in order to get a boost over the other players.
So I'd abstain myself from throwing the first rock.

Are you Effrandor? Anyway, I guess this is because he didn't want to name the era "Era Of Threehundredpoundlezzie". We all know his concern for keeping this game safe for minors (even if sometimes they seem to be better educated in the "dark arts" than people who passed puberty).

Dont single him out for doing that. LGC has done the same and they deserve kudos just as auspice. Era of Leo for example was won by Serenity but you LGC fed Draik, cast ghost warriors etc. LGC where all but dead but pumped up Draik to win the era eventhough he only had like one city left. Its all a part of the game and as you should remember we didnt scorn him for it, instead we gave kudos.
