Augh, why not just put your hands up and say "yes, we whored and mass NAPed"? It'll earn you a lot more respect than trying to convince people that 4 players from Beo are single handedly taking LGC on.

• Beo caught up with LGC on points score before you and Kool attacked us. Conclusion? Beo whoring.
• Beo had only managed 20 wins in 3 weeks, while LGC was pushing on for 200 odd. Conclusion? Beo whoring.
• You've admitted you haven't fought anybody this era besides Hamish. Conclusion? Beo Whoring.
• You've got 4 guys on the highscores, we 1. Our guy has 62 victories to his name. I haven't seen your players on the map this era. Conclusion? Beo whoring.

According to Augh and TBL you guys are at "war" with relentless as well, means you're more then welcome to plunder those inactives as well, or shall we just add them to your list of naps?

I held out pretty long on my last gf. Im sure can go 7 days.

Do we wait until we land, wait for mid era or follow the Beo approach of begging for NAPs before the era has even begun?

There's a sense of accomplishment you gain from trying to play VU in the way it used to be played. No cowardice, no relenting. Warring from the very first tick to the very last. We've striven to show Fantasia that there is another way to play the game, in an age where mass napping or mass recruiting is common place.

You above all others should remember how the game used to be played, Augh. Just a shame you're complicit in the cowardice these days.

I've been playing the game on and off for 10 years. To suggest there were rarely oop wars "back in the day" is nonsense. Me and Augh pre-date those "days" and we both know what spirit Fantasia used to be played in. LGC made a name for itself back in the days as a KD who took on the world, win or lose, we would play and earn respect for trying to fight everybody. It was practically unheard of for KDs [particularly reigning champions like Beo] to mass NAP. You would think LGC were the reigning champions and Beo the defeated KD of last era, judging by the extraordinary lengths Beo have gone to this era.

You're never "forced" to mass NAP. Both Beo and LGC had the opportunity to war OOP, both had several enemies surrounding them. One KD decided to fight, the other didn't. Nobody put a gun to Beos head saying sign a NAP or die. 20 victories in 3 weeks is embarrassing.


I know a lot of the Beo members are unhappy with the way their leaders have conducted themselves this era [from the sheer amount of messages I've gotten], but those leaders act even more farcical when they come on here and try mock LGC for going NAP less. We should be applauded for our efforts, not mocked by gutless "leaders".

To be fair to Jenna, Legend, she has every right to yawn. It's taken her 4 weeks to send an army into the field. Can you imagine the boredom. :p

We dont have unhappy members in Beo, we are all happy that we are winning.

There's no point in arguing with people who feel no shame and let's face it, the Beo leadership is absolutely shameless. The only shame felt in that kd is by their regular players which is why, as Swifty said, he's been receiving messages from their all era and some at the end of last era...

Yet, of course, the leadership will deny it, and they will continue to act smug over one of the most hollow wins ever.

I hear quite a few of the same arguments back in this current Fantasia thread. Brings back some memories :)

[Doesn't compare with the flame wars I had with the various versions of Dark Blood (Juicy, and then, DOA). Destroying folks like Raistlin, Quiet One, Ar "The Failure" Zun, Oya, and of course, the mighty Wilberforce, was guaranteed to trigger a massive sourgrapes response with all the attendant common excuses.]

When I mentioned that Beothuk was at war with Relentless, I was talking about last era. And the reason why I was talking about last era, was because someone was implying Beothuk had mass-napped last era. I made that statement to counter that implication.
