Is it me or is our WHOLE NORTH CORE STILL INTACT and fighting? Is it me or did Sloth and Hanky just beat the #1 HoH? Is it me or only FIVE players where forced to resign/got killed? Is it me or are we not on the offensive now? (I see only one army going to attack Gauls). If they where so hard pressed why arn't they sending armies to fight Gauls? Because they have nothing! They picked off Trio one by one OOP......untill they reached the ready players where they got stopped cold and repelled. All in all we wouldn't be "owning" yet........but give 4 days and we would have been on top of Apollo and riding them hard.

I restarted to create a new KD, i told the leaders of Apollo i wasnt entirely happy with joining Apollo, i only did because i swore loyalty to my friends ;)
I had an extremely bad start rofl, and throught 90% of the war with Trio i was down to 2k income pmsl, army costs and the very bad start killed me ;)
Gauls had easily enough troops on my doorstep to kill me, so what was the point in staying around?

I'm not posting here to make excuses mind ;) Apollo put up 1 hell of a fight against Trio and not 1 single Trio member can say we didn't, If Gauls hadn't stepped in then Apollo would have secured the southern area, most likely not touched the northern members of Trio for a long time giving them time for a comeback without a doubt ;)
But i'm happy with what i did, and im very happy with how it panned out.
But theirs talk goin around that Apollo will definately die now, and if it was to be then i wasnt stickin around ;) I told Revenge and Seloc straight from the start that if their was trouble from either of em i'd leave because everyone knows i have issues with Revenge, and i also said if Apollo went to another world i'd leave.
I know Evans very well and i know he would want to go to Starta if he died, and i know other members did too.
And i've been dumped back on Starta 2 eras running, and Zeta the era before that. I had enough, so i left and made a new KD with which FA "May" be merging into ;)
So to sum up,
Apollo had 1 hell of a fight against Trio
Trio would have almost certainly mounted a comeback
Gauls jumped in to save Trio which luckily for them is working right now
Apollo are most probably doomed :P
And i ran away like a little coward after aiding the death of nova ;)

lol i trained at most 4k gaia the whole time. Most of my armies are made up of lvl3s, you should know that by now.
Fox is gone and i have no idea why Revenge restarted, but it wasn't b/c of trio thats for sure.
I guess those 20 or so armies i slaughtered didn't matter.

Evans got shut down in the north because he is now alone attacking there (good job Evans)........and you attacked Hanky and got defeated by Hanky and Sloth. Also we are starting to push you back already.

I haven't really been keeping up with this thread but I skimmed the last 2 pages. I just want to congratulate Appollo for capitalizing as any good kd would on vulnerabilities they saw. There was no cheating, no dishonour that I could detect, and even a little friendly banter between certain players.
Yes I tried something new with my startup which earned me a completely embarassing showing oop and a lot of Trio can say the same, but we'll survive. Long story short as I see it, Trio majorly messed up a couple things and you guys were all over it without any major blunders of your own. Congrats, really, but don't expect to see Trio ever perform this way again because we've all beaten ourselves up about it a fair amount and won't be repeating our mistakes =p

Wow I was hoping Apollo would come and liberate us =(, oh well I am hoping to join Fox, but I want to know that most of my kingdom will come along, they have some good potential to become great and I do not want to leave them behind =P.

Yeah it sucked a bit being the first one OOP and in the cross hairs right off the bat but I held my own for a good long while as well as taking out a good number of armies before I went. If anything it bought enough time holding up those merges and killing a few armies for a few more members to get OOP and form a defensive line.
Like Clamps said, most of us made 1 or more fatal mistakes and paid for it greatly. Don't expect it to happen again! =P (Yes even I made a few huge mistakes)
All in all it's been a nice war. Apollo seen a few openings from our mistakes and jumped on them quickly. Props to them for working together to take advantage of them. =)

I agree, our first idea was " Kill Nova " thats a compliment, we jumped on you then went after the others, we were a little dirty in a way putting scouts around so you couldnt settle, it was all in good fun ^^

When did Trio take Apollo cities? More than 1 or 2? They didnt. Yes you had defeated a few of our armies going or prepping on your cities, but we did the same. Apollo only lsot cities when Gaul attacked and rampaged trough our mining cities, which were mostly undefended because our troops were out attacking Trio. If it wasnt for Gaul, Trio would be a bit more dead, since we would have our troops that Gaul killed and would have had more, since we wouldnt have lossed incomes. Im not saying Trio would be dead if Gaul hadnt stepped in, your just to big(yet), but we would have taken more Trio cities and maybe broken into the northern group of mines too. Gaul saved your @ss and stopped the beating. I hope you wrote them a thank you letter.

Meh, this would have happened and that would have happened. There's no way to know. Maybe the guys stopping your push north took a little break to construct while the pressure was off, but could have just kept pumping 100% troops if the pressure stayed on. In that case you still wouldn't have made it any further. My point is "Thank you Gauls" and "No point in speculating; we think we would have been ok and you think we were sunk; and no one can prove anything =p." S0o0o0o, why not just talk about what's happening now rather than "maybes"?
