I read somewhere in the forums that Dwarves can Expand into the sides of mountains and Trolls into the forest

Can someone please confirm this !!?
... as this has not been my experience and I appear to have limited my city from growing by being too close to the forest.

... sure would be nice to find out where one can read up on the current race abilities or changes to that might have taken place, actually this applies to all aspects of the game as quite a bit of info I have read up on no longer applies
