I called the number once, but it's a scam telephone number aswell- My phone company always gives a warning what the phone number is going to cost. It would've cost me like 1,99 euros :'(

If he "came to know you in [his] private search for a reliable and reputable person to handle this confidential transaction", then why the hell does he require:

Address

Private Telephone

Age

I mean, if he's trusting you with over four million dollars, you'd think he'd know a BIT about you... :-P

20:43:00 Aug 18th 08 - Duke Argyle:

I get like 10 of thoose a week, sometimes more, it's because I forward all my university mail letters to my hotmail, and there is a public list of all student's adresses....I don't read them anymore, but in the beginning it was rather interesting, I responded to a few saying Im willing to have the money put in my paypal account :P

20:50:12 Aug 18th 08 - Mr. Traveler:

Whats funny about these is that sometimes they give you their email adress... and I was reading some with some crappy hotmail adresses, yahoo, and others... yeah how do you expect someone handling millions to ask you the same thing that other 10 people handling millions has asked, to put their millions in your bank account as long as you give them all your information, sometimes they ask for social security number and other crap... also if they were profesional they would have a good email account, not hotmail.

20:55:19 Aug 18th 08 - Mr. Opportunity:

I like the ones that are from like tim.daily@hotmail.com , but they say that the email's from somebody named John Abbey

Dear Good Friend

I am sorry for my late response due to the nature of my job here in Iraq.
I couldn't transfer the fund to your bank account via Bank to Bank
transfer as scheduled due to the recent violence in Iraq. I met a friend of
mine who works with Red Cross here in Iraq Mr. Phillips Sketal but has
traveled to England, United Kingdom for his leave, I pleaded with him to
help me convene the Two Sealed Metallic Boxes to England since he is
traveling under Red Cross Chartered flight which he accepted. I believe
that this option is the best and safest, by now Mr. Phillips Sketal should
be in England.

I sealed the Two Metallic boxes with US Marine Trend to avoid any
disturbance at the airport when delivery by the courier company. I gave
Mr. Phillips Sketal $1000 {One Thousand US Dollars} as the
COURIER FEES to enable him send the consignment to you through
any of the reputable courier company as soon as you contact him.

You are urgently needed to contact Mr. Phillips Sketal in England through
his personal E-mail address { *blurred out email adress* } ,ask him to
send the Two Metallic Sealed Boxes that you are the beneficiary,
Remember to including your personal information while contacting him
to enable him send the consignment to you.

Your Full Name
Your direct contact Telephone Number
Your direct contact address.

Please make sure all your information is correct to avoid wrong delivery.

Remember that the total fund in those boxes is $14 M {Fourteen Millions
US Dollar} .All I needed from you is Trust and Sincerity, don;t betray me.
As soon as you received the consignment from the courier company, deduct 20%
as your assistance as initially agreed while you deposit the remaining 80% in your
bank account pending when I will resign and come over to your country for investment
project with my own share of money.

Note. Please, don’t inform Mr. Phillips Sketal about the content of the Two sealed Boxes.
I told him is Family Treasure that belongs to a friend of mine who wants to leave Iraq because
of the Violence. I have handed this transaction over to you, take absolutely care of consignment.
