Holland versus Slovakia was 2-1, Holland versus Brazil was 2-1, Holland versus Uruguay was 3-2. Spain, on the otherhand, had no one score on them. It was all 1-0 matches won for Spain. Not even Germany, who have done pretty darn good this year, could not score on them. Spain has prevented anyone from scoring on them this time.

23:25:43 Jul 11th 10 - Mr. Petite Penois: Fair result I think. Not an exactly exciting end to end game, a lot of fouls and cynical play put an end to that. Very tactical, very stop and start. Think Holland were very very lucky not to have De Jong sent off in the first half as that should of been a straight red for the kick, and Bommel could of accumulated enough yellow cards by the end of the 90 mins to get him sent off too. The eventual sending off was fair. On the balance of chances, both were pretty even, maybe Spain edging it during extra time. They deserved it imo.

Holland should of been down to 9 men by full time. Spain were much better in extra time anyway, even before the sending off. Otherwise it was an even game.

23:59:06 Jul 11th 10 - Mr. Petite Penois: They weren't giving a chance to win it the "Spanish way" though. Holland just fouled, fouled and fouled some more all games. Constant stop and starting, constant yellow cards. It wasn't a great spectacle. Holland didn't play like the Holland we know.

Spain played a bit better, Holland got lucky not to get behind from headers/villa.. and then Robben had 2 chances and he should've scored really.. but ye. if only a final couldve been a draw. this would've been 1 for sure.
