"Carol is travelling by ship from south of the equator to the north.
Yet, without leaving her room or talking with anyone, Carol knew exactly when the ship crossed the equator. How did she know?"The toilet flushed the other way? or maybe there was lots of noise as people celebrated
3. Yard Sale? | ||||
The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true. Are these sentences true or false? The three wisest sages in the land were brought before the king to see which of them were worthy to become the king's advisor. After passing many tests of cunning and invention, they were pitted against each other in a final battle of the wits. Led blind-folded into a small room, the sages were seated around a small wooden table as the king described the test for them. "Upon each of your heads I have placed a hat. Now you are either wearing a blue hat or a white hat. All I will tell you is this- at least one of you is wearing a blue hat. There may be only one blue hat and two white hats, there may be two blue hats and one white hat, or there may be three blue hats. But you may be certain that there are not three white hats." "I will shortly remove your blind folds, and the test will begin. The first to correctly announce the colour of his hat shall be my advisor. Be warned however, he who guesses wrongly shall be beheaded. If not one of you answers within the hour, you will be sent home and I will seek elsewhere for wisdom." With that, the king uncovered the sages' eyes and sat in the corner and waited. One sage looked around and saw that his competitors each were wearing blue hats. From the look in their eyes he could see their thoughts were the same as his, "What is the colour of my hat?" For what
seemed like hours no one spoke. Finally he stood up and said, "The colour of
the hat I am wearing is . . ."
A long, long time ago - before airplanes were invented, a suspension bridge was being built to span the gorge near Niagara Falls. However, there was no way a boat could carry the necessary suspension cables across the violent water, and the bridge could not be built until the cables spanned the river. In desperation, the builders staged a contest, open to the public, as a way to solve their problem. The contest was won by a young boy. Soon afterwards, the cables spanned the water. What countries did they
stage the contest? What was the contest and how did it solve the problem? Funny Lelouch you only answered the Yard sale one 6. makes no sense (Edited by Mr. Xemnas's stalkers AKA every hot girl out there 2/16/2007 2:45:53 AM) (Edited by Mr. Xemnas 2/16/2007 2:46:42 AM)
It's a blue hat. If it was a white hat and one of the other people didn't answer right away it would give away to the third person that his hat was not white because if it was the 2nd guy would have known his was blue since both of the others would have been white. So, if he had a white hat one of the others would have gotten the answer. Also, i think he meant it was Canada and US because of Niagra falls. About the toilet one, would the toilet have changed? It is still the same toilet. (Edited by Mr. Darkchaosguy IV 2/16/2007 3:06:13 AM)
Yup Darkchaosguy got the blue hat one right. The toilet improvements because
the water flows differently when you are south of equator. 3 of all the
question doesn't even ask that it asks what the competition was I don't
think the competition was Canada and US
6. It was a paper airplane making contest and the airplane carried the rope across?
Nope because that didn't help them build a bridge(also you must explain how it helped).
It helped because it was able to carry the cable across! :D
YOur JK Lelouch a paperairplane carry a cable?
A really BIG paper airplane. Either that or they made the boy swin across. Or a contest to see who can circle around the gorge the fastest to put the cable on the other side?
You try to swim across Niagra falls send me a postcard. No a BIg paper
airplane won't work because it won't fly. YOu cant circle around Niagra
Falls well unless you want to run a 100 miles south or north which
would kinda defeat the purpose of making a cable go through Niagra Falls
Was the boy psychic by any chance? Taken away by men is balck suits after winning the contest?
No he does not belong on the X files
im guessing... they used a crane to move the cable across....
oh nvm i get it | ||||
The following sentence is false. The preceding sentence is true. Are these sentences true or false? wtf.. thought i had it.. nvm..

canada one because once your done with that one I can ask you a riddle
that even I don't get. | ||||
well, i searched the one for the Niagra Falls one, and believe me, no honest, VU-Playing riddlesolver is going to guess that one, so if i may, may i post the answer???
I got it. Well I'll wait for Andrei to give up.
ok:D | ||||
come on someone who hasn't looked on the internet answer it. It's only a few more hours
they used a cannon with a grapling hook in it and a rope connected to it and shot it across Niagara Falls and then tied it tightly and did that twice and then made a weak wooden bridge out of the ropes and wooden planks and that made it easier for them to build a stronger bridge.
The contest was for a person to suspend rope from one side of the the gorge to the other. A young boy used a domesticated bird to carry a very long rope over and people on the other side was able to drag the rope which could be attached to stronger and heavier cable over to the other side, linking the gorge. Or the boy used a bow and arrows or a cannon or a hot air balloon.
Lelouch was uber close I'll give you guys a hint you need for something
to cross the falls but you also need somthing with a rope built in.
Do you mean with the bird or the balloon?
the bird give you another hint its not living
A kite then? | ||||
Correct | ||||
I don't see how a vulture is different from a domesticated bird...
2. A dog with three of it's feet cut off?
Its inanimate | ||||
1 door closes, 9 open. When 9 close, 1 door

For what | ||||
he said wtf because he didn't understand the foot of the bed riddle...
so whats the answer to the door one.
The door one, is it about times? It closes at 1 oclock and opens at 9, and then the other way around? Or does it has to do with meditation? They say that in meditation you open 9 doors of your body, but then i wonder what that 1 door is:S
I don't know but to be totally honest I really can't imagine it being either of those two
