Mr. Drrofas
Lived in Era 28, got 1 heir(s) (Hytlodeo) and was a member of The Undead Alliance
On the Era of Amon Hen, the people of Cartago Nova decided that they needed a king. Who could this be? After years of discussion, they managed to find the right person for the job. He was a former warrior that had worked for years in the improvement of his city. Drrofas was his name. After he was crowned, the new ruler started changing the politics of the city-state, and after some years, he organized an expedition that finally founded the city of Pompeii. Drrofas then joined a kingdom that was formed by plenty of great rulers that lived nearby in the land of Zetamania. And so, his lands and people continued to grow in culture and power.
But nothing lasts forever. On the south, a ruler that called himself Gravedigger had managed to create an impressive kingdom, with many great cities and armies. Even so, he was very greedy. Together with the other rulers of his kingdom( The Emperors Fist), Drrofas fought many battles to try and stop him, but with every victory they sustained many losses. And finally Gravedigger came, and took over Cartago Nova, and everything that was good and pure in its lands was corrupted. Yet, not everything was lost. The King survived and fled the continent, knowing that he would somehow return to recover his rights.
After fleeing, Drrofas found a new city to rule in the land of Starta. While he was wandering around, thinking of the future, he was gazed by a group of orcs. They imprisoned him, and took him to their small city Barad. But in the way they noticed the intelligence of their prisoner, and treated him with the respect he deserved. Drrofas saw that the orcs were not as evil as he had thought, and soon started teaching them good manners and the great ideals of men. Soon they began to reverence him, and suddenly he noticed he was being treated as a king, and that the orcs followed him obediently. He decided this was the chance to regain power and recover Cartago Nova. At that moment he didn't understand that his egoistic reasons would bring him to his doom.
Drrofas renamed Barad to Byzantium. Then he founded colonies in the north and east, and named them Phoenicia and Farsalia. After his previous administration, Drrofas was now a better ruler and the economy began to grow very fast. He joined the Sparta kingdom, but it soon dissapeared. Then he joined a Kingdom called The Fellowship, but it wasn't long before his treacherous leader Kalkan disbanded it and joined their enemy: Zoidbergmania. Drrofas found himself in trouble, but then some ex-Fellowship members created a great new Kingdom, and they called it the Undead Alliance. The orc kingdom of Drrofas became a part of it, and so he felt very pleased.
Meanwhile, Drrofas had also conquered more cities, and became very powerful. Thousands of orcs now followed him, and his armies were huge. He thought he was invincible. But then news came to him and made his hearth unease. The kingdoms of the north had merged into a new one called Music. Later on, the southern kingdom of Avalanche (which he thought was a faithful ally) decided to unite the enemy. And so, the Undead Alliance had to fight a war in two fronts, against a very powerful enemy. They built walls and trained armies, and fought honorably and well, and it looked as if they could win. Then, one of their members showed his real face. Battlefield Vet betrayed them, and used his great armies to protect no one other than himself. The walls fell, and although the Undead Alliance did its best, the end was inevitable. All the orc cities were taken, and when the armies of Music reached Byzantium, a great battle took place. 20,000 orcs fought bravely against 50,000 humans, but they had better weapons. The city fell, and the king fell too, fighting until the end. With this, the era ended, and a veil of darkness covered the lands.
Mr. Hytlodeo
Lived in Era 28, got 1 heir(s) (Hytlodeo II) and was a member of The Undead Alliance
Hytlodeo was born the day his father was killed. But the armies of Music did not find him, since his mother had cast a spell upon her child. But that spell contained also a curse. For his mother was a great witch, but not powerful enough to challenge Death for a long time. The prophecy said: "Thou shall become the ruler of a great empire, but shall not live long enough to see it flourish". This words were engraved by magic into his soul, and only the one who would kill him would be able to see them. And so, she made him invisible to their conquerors, and sent him to an ancient temple, where he would be raised by elves. But that was not a part of the design the gods had created. On the road to the temple, dwarves ambushed his group of lifeguards, and killed them. Then they took the newborn baby away, to their mountain mines.
Legend says that Hytlodeo was taken to the king, and he, who had no children of his own, decided to raise him as if he were his own keen. And as he grew up, he learned the ways of dwarves, and never got to know his own heritage.
When Gorlim, King of Dwarves, died, Hytlodeo acceded to the throne. But many dwarves did not like the fact that a human orphan would rule them; and thus tried to overthrow him. After many wars, Hytlodeo s supporters won, but the Kingdom of Dwarves was split into two. One was ruled by Foarl, a dwarf of the Royal Dwarf Family. He was a ruthless ruler, and his kingdom was one of opression and tirany. Hytlodeo, on the other side, decided that his kingdom would be a Republic, where everyone would have a voice of his own. Then he started to work to make his kingdom grow, and he proved to be an amazing statesman. From the capitol city of Montecristo, he forged an alliance with the kingdom of Angels, and after that, he started building cities and fortresses. Under his command, the Dwarf Republic became powerful, and his armies were gallant and brave.
Still, a curse like his could not be forgotten. When his kingdom started to become one of the most powerful ones in the land of Mantrax, the heart of the treacherous Preds started to tremble with fear, and thus they decided to stop him from becoming any more powerful, at wathever cost. With their ilegitimate tactics, they managed to sneak through the walls of the Republic and destroyed two of their greatest cities, before the armies of Hytlodeo could crush them like the rats they were. But Preds was a kingdom of many rulers, and they could not let Hytlodeo live. They raised an army of 300,000 souls, and attacked the walls again. Hytlodeo moved his greatest army to fight them, and after being under 13 days of siege, he made a difficult choice: he would lead himself 150,000 of the bravest dwarves to challenge the enemy army on the plains of Jah·Ur.
He moved his army to a hill, and prepared to attack at dawn. When the sun appeared, his men were ready. Hytlodeo looked at the sky, and saw that a red sun arose. He knew that was not a good omen, but he could not leave without a fight. He divided his army into three, and decided to command the center legion, while his generals attacked the enemy flanks with the other two left. But he did not realise that Preds had cunning generals, and therefore, they were ready for this. They moved some troops to a nearby forest, where they waited for the brave dwarves. When Hytlodeo gave the order to attack, his army broke through the enemy lines, and victory seemed to be at hand. Then, like crows that attack a prey that is unaware of what is going on, the troops that were hidden in the forest attacked, and killed a grand number of dwarves. Their allies saw that, and started to attack the dwarves with renewed stregth. The retribution was swift, and so 130,000 dwarves were killed, and the rest ran away into the wall. Hytlodeo was able to escape to his keep, where he talked to his generals. They told him that total defeat was unevitable. He told them to fight on, then looked at his blade, and on the reflection of himself he saw the words of the prophecy that were written on his soul. He suddenly knew waht he had to do.
He went to the plains and asked to have a few words with the enemy commander.
He was also a great man, and let Hytlodeo do what he had requested.
Hytlodeo said that this battle, should not be fought by armies, but by thier leader. Agheron (the great general of the Preds army) was not a coward either, and decided to fight the human ruler of dwarves.
A great duel it was, and in the end, no one had proved to be more skillful than the other. Then, in the heat of the moment, Hytlodeo saw an undefended spot in Agherons armour and stabbed him.
Agherons eyes turned pale, and he fell to a precipice. But Hytlodeo had not been able to withdraw his sword, and he fell too. His own actions had led him to his death, and the prophecy was fullfilled. And so the story of Hytlodeo The Brave ends....
But even so, the battle between the dwarves and Preds had just begun...
Mr. Hytlodeo II
Lived in Era 28, got 1 heir(s) (Aurelius) and was a member of Angels
Hytlodeo the II was the late king's son. He was twenty years old when he got to the power, but his kingdom was very weak after the battles against Preds. With Babylon and Montecristo in enemy hands, he gathered the dwarves that were still alive and sent them to the land of Angels, were his allies had established.
There, he settled a couple of colonies. Yet, Preds had already gotten there in their victorious march towards the domination of the land of Mantrax. Hytlodeo tried to raise an army, but soon the armies of Preds attacked his small colonies and took them over one by one.
And with this, Hytlodeo understood that there would not be a reborn of the Drwarf Republic. One day, while he was walking alone in the mountains, thinking of the past glories, an angel appeared in front of him and told him that in a far away country a dark wizard had cast a spell that would kill every living being in the world, and start a new era: Armaggedon! The angel told him taht the only way he could survive was to seek shelter in the ancient temple of Gadain, were the ancestors of his grandmother used to live. After saying this, Yuad the angel dissapeared...
But Hytlodeo II had lost his will to live. Legends say he sent his wife and only child named Aurelius to the temple. Then he left with his last friend, Imago the dwarf, and together they stood on top of the mountains where they watched the chaos on the lands beneath them, until the world was destroyed.
Sir Aurelius
Lived in Era 29, got 0 heir(s) and was a member of The Musketeers
The temple of Gadain was located in the top of the highest mountain in the world. From there, the elven elders could see all the lands and praise the gods. When Aurelius and his mother arrived, the high priest Kelevorn received them with a great celebration. Hytlodeoīs wife felt intrigued by this. On the third day of celebration, she asked Kelevorn to converse with her, alone.
"Mylord Kelevorn, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart for hosting us in these hours of doom."
"It has been nothing, lady Rowena. My people are very glad to have you both amongst us."
"Your people are very kind. But there is something I do not understand. If I may ask, why are we being treated with such honors? My husband was a good ruler, yet he never told me he was a friend of the elven elders..."
"Hytlodeo II was the grandson of my daughter. You and your son are a part of my family."
"Mylord, that s impossible! My husbands father was an orphan who was raised by dwarves. How could he be a part of your bloodline?"
"My daughter, lady Celes, married a human named Drrofas many years ago. Drrofas was a human king, and he was the ruler of a great empire in the land of Zetamania. Yet, his enemies where many, and he had to flee to the continent of Starta, where he became the first human king of orcs. My daughter fell in love with him, and became his queen."
"But, what happened to Drrofas then? Why did he abbandon his child?"
"Drrofas lost a war against the armies of Music... Hytlodeo was born the exact day he died. My daughter sent him to me before she was captured, but dwarves kidnapped him before he could come with us, his ancentors. Your son Hytlodeo is half human and half elf."
Lady Rowena did not ask any more questions. And so, Hytlodeo II learnt of his past and swore to avenge his great grandfather Drrofas. When the effects of Armageddon had ended, he sayed goodbye to his mother and the elf people, and went to the land of Mantrax to start a new kingdom. He founded the city of Constantinopoli, and together with his fathers allies, he started to become one of the greatest rulers in the land.
After settling in Constantinopoli, Aurelius conquered and colonized several villages, and he grew in power. When news arrived that the Angels kingdom would enter the war against Music, he saw his chance to avenge Drrofas. And so, he raised an army of 30,000 knights, and he personally lead them to the walls of Musicīs core, were they participated in the great battles against Kobuskan and the leader of Music: the mighty Spoon. Yet, the coalition to destroy Music was very powerful, and eventually Inactive, the most powerful ruler in the west, broke in and took over all of Musicīs main cities.
When this happened, the eastern walls were easily taken by Angels. Aureliusīs army went to the north and conquered all the cities in the land, which Aurelius named Alfonso. There he created a separate kingdom, which was to be ruled by his oldest son, Aurelius Efrandor. He then retreated to Constatinopoli, where he rested and celebrated the great victory against Music.
His son Aurelius Efrandor was a skillful warrior, and he decided he would raise an army to expand his territories. He recruited hundreds of thousands of young men, and in his barracks he managed to train 300,000 knights and over 20,000 catapults. With that, he joined the recently started war between Ritz and Angels. Yet he was ruthless, and instead of taking cities over he burned them to the ground. It was then, when tragedy occurred; for Music was not dead, and their generals had managed to raise huge armies of dwarves and orcs. It was in this moment that the kingdom of Sin was disintegrated and Inactive decided to join Music, the kingdom he alone had slaughtered. Aurelius Efrandor turned his armies back to face him, but Inactive was too powerful to be faced alone. The League of Alfonso army, the most gallant one the world has ever seen, retreated to the capital city, where they would face him. And Inactive came to face Aurelius Efrandor.
One morning, his 300,000 elfish archmages commenced the siege of Alfonso. They had already taken most of the kingdomīs cities. Aurelius Efrandor had by that moment about 180,000 knights left, and so he decided to wait for Inactive to attack first. Yet, Inactive was a very cunning general, and he waited until the night to attack him with the elfish fire. The 200,000 mages in Alfonso were able to stop it from hurting the people, but one of the segments of the wall fell down and the elves rushed in, slaughtering men and women alike. No one was left alive. Not even Aureliusīs son.
When news of this arrived to Aurelius, he felt devastated. After that, bad news became a rule for his kingdom; Music had started moving east and they were taking all the cities in their paths, one by one. He started to recruit an army, but the land of Constantinopoli had lived for too much time in peace. There werenīt as many soldiers as before, and most of them had gone to Alfonso to colonize its vast territories. Now, he had to start from nothing.
Yet, Aurelius had royal blood in his veigns, and he had been raised by the Elder elves, the Eldarin. And so he managed to raise armies with troops from the provinces of Peleponesus and Kiev. At least one hundred thousand troops where at his service, and he organized the defense of his kingdom. Inactive could come, but Aurelius was ready, waiting for him. He was willing to wait until he could avenge his son.
The war began soon after. Both Ritz and Music moved armies into the land of Angels, and they took over plenty of cities. Gracielo, one of Ritzīs generals, took over Zarathustra, the fortess city taht protected the gates of the Wall of Zarathustra, which was the western-most protection of Aurelius kingdom. With this, the provinces of Kiev and Peleponesus got divided, and so the King of the Constintanopolii couldnīt get any new reinforcements from the west. Aurelius saw the end was near. From the north, a scout arrived severely wounded. He said Music was moving over 600,000 troops towards his realm.
The King saw himself forced to make a terrible decision: he folded his troops in the Gizeh province back to Peleponesus, were he would merge them with all the troops he could recruit. This were days of despair in Aureliusīs kingdom. One night he decided to go alone to visit the Eldarin. Without anybody noticing him, he fleed Constantinopoli through a secret passage, then mounted his horse Seruntas, and with haste traveled to the temple of Gadain. There he met Kelevorn, who was waiting for him in the threshold of the ancient temple.
"Mylord Kelevorn, my kingdom is in great peril"- Aurelius said.
"I know, I had foreseen this moment before you were even born"- the great priest answered.
"What should I do now?"- Aurelius asked.
Look in your heart for the answer.- Kelevorn replied. Then he went back into the temple.
Aurelius did not follow him. He knew Kelevorn wouldnīt tell him anything more. He then went back to Constantinopoli.
On the road, he learned from a travelling merchant that a magician in the Land of Fantasia was casting the Armageddon spell upon the World. Apparently, he would succeed in less than half a year if nobody stopped him. He also said the people of all the continents were fleeing to try to save their lives.
Aurelius went back to the temple immediately. There he saw his mother, who was already 110 years old. He asked her what happened once Armageddon was cast.
She told him: "Once Armageddon is cast, the world becomes a place of constant war. People go berserk and kill each other without any reason. Most cities are burned to the ground by their inhabitants. It is one of the plagues ZeTa sends to us when he is angry at us"
Aurelius face was pale, he was full of fear. The world as he knew it was coming to an end! He said goodbye to his mother, and then he rode his horse back to his throne, were he had summoned his generals. He now knew what he had to do.
When he finally reached his court, Aurelius received an extraordinary new. Erunion Telcontar, a great elf mage, had managed to stop the Armageddon from being cast. After he heard this, Aurelius spoke with their generals for hours. They had to fight Ritz off. And so Gaius, his bravest general, told him the had only one way to stop them from taking Constantinopoli. They had to summon all the peasants into the adjacent Wall of Justice, which guarded the Land of Angels.
Two hundred thousand men answered the call. The Wall suddenly was defended by plenty of troops. It seemed there was a chance of winning this battle. And so, Gracieloīs army arrived at the gates of the Land of Angels.
Gaius commanded the Aurelian Forces. The King himself was a little old by now, and after his journey to Gadain his health wasnīt as good as before. Gracielo camped in front of the gates for a couple weeks, but he seemed uneager to attack. It was the when one of Angels Viceroys, the great Angel of Death, sent some soldiers to Gaius to help him in the upcoming battle.
This was Gaius chance. The next day after the reinforcementīs arrival, a couple thousand troops of Gracielo attacked . But Gaius was ready for this. He ordered his archers to fire at will. None of the enemies survived. After that, Gaius told his second in command, Erebor, to get the men ready for battle. In less than three hours, he gave an order to all the group leader: the gates would be open, and after the last man got out, they were going to be closed. And so, there would be no way back. It was glory or death...
The battle lasted for over ten hours; the first attack had weakened Gracielo, but his men were still fighting. Gaius, who was fighting on the front, decided it was time for a full scale attack. The horns were played, and the 80,000 men under his command attacked like if there were no tomorrow.
100,000 of Gracieloīs menīs bodies filled the plain. The rest surrendered. The Constantinopolii had won; the capital city was safe!
But that wasnīt completely true. Gaius moved his armies to try and recover Caradhras, the kingdoms wealthiest cities. He moved a regiment towards the city, but once he got ther he noticed he couldnīt siege it: there were 100,000 troops defending it. Gaius retreated to Constantinopoli. The victory couldnīt come from the east. Yet news had arrived. The armies of Angels were coming from the west, and it seemed they were unbeatable.
Gaius decide to wait. He had roughly got 30,000 troops, so there was nothing else he could do. One day he received a letter from the King. Aurelius wanted to see him. Gaius went with haste towards his Majestyīs room, were he saw he was dying. Aurelius was 80 years old, and the death of his son had made him feel older.
"I am dying, General" Aurelius said.
"You are strong, you can survive this" Gaius answered.
"No I canīt. My ancestors are calling me, and I must not dissobey them. I have summoned you here to tell you something: I want to adopt you as my heir and son"; the King was looking rather pale.
"It would be a great honor, Mylord", Gaius answered nervously. He hadnīt expected this.
Minutes later, Aurelius the Wise died. And so, Gaius Aureliae became the ruler of the Constantinopolii. He married Aureliusīs daughter, and together they got ready to face Mewho, who was sieging their walls again.
It was then that the armies of Angels came from the west and slayed all of Mewhoīs troops. The rest of Ritzīs armies retreated, and Gaius Aureliae recovered control over the western provinces, except for Kiev, which had been taken by rhe mighty Inactive.
