For generations, the Orc have been looked down upon as vile creatures of blood and evil. Our love for war has made us despicable and shunned by other races. We were turned away from kingdom gates, left to fend for ourselves in the harsh lands of storms and disease. Hunted in the light of the sun, we were forced to run and hide from the armies of elves and men like wild animals. Night brought us little refuge, as beasts greater than even the Nazgul roam the dark lands. We took shelter deep in the mountains and far underground, where our many enemies could not find us.

In the beginning, we were weak... We hid in the earth, unable to protect ourselves. But after generations of rejection, we became strong. Our will was strengthened by the need to survive. Our hate of the other races grew, and drove us to do to horrible things... Unspeakable things...

But now is the dawn of a new age. A new time for my race. A new beginning.

I, Samul, son of Nieman, step into the light of the open lands, palms out with no fear of others. I shall build a world for my kind to live in, to prosper. No longer will we run and hide. We shall stand, and we shall live our lives as our culture demands. We will grow, and we will eliminate any that hinder our way. Expect us.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

~recovered fragments of Samul's journal...~

... began the construction of our first Orc city, Laconia, named after the ancient land from which we came. Development is going well. We sent out scouts to survey the land surrounding us. Our scouts ... many nearby kingdoms, and immediately sent word to us. We have made peace with the ruler of a southern city.

A diplomat from a nearby Kingdom arrived today, and offered us the opportunity to join them. As a first step towards our new growth in this world, we accepted...

The colonizing of our second city has begun. Our future looks strong.

... have sent out our armies to the south, where an intruding force lies. We will take their city, and use it to expand...

Our newly ... city has been attacked by an enemy kingdom to the east! Our troops are taking up arms to retake the city, and expel the intruders from our lands. They will pay for the blood they spilled.

... city has been liberated by our allied kingdom member! Our people rejoice in the victory. Now we march forth with vengeance. Our enemies will fall under the force of our hammers...

Our allied kingdom members are making quick work of the intruders. But we still do not rest easy at night.. A new threat has emerged from the shadows of the earth, one we know of old. The elves of the south hunt us once again. ... this time we are ready...

... elves are fleeing the lands as our armies march upon them in with the ranks of our allies. They were no match for us. Few of their cities remain, barricading themselves in as heavily as they can. Their walls will crumble beneath our battering rams of stone. They shall meet the fate that our ancestors did long ago as we hunt their survivors to the gates of hell...

We have liberated our allies city from the elves, only to be retaken. Soon, our army will cast out their filth once and for all.

A mighty foe has ... in our lands. There's not a smithy in the land that doesn't have a fire roaring, and bellows blowing. The clash of metal and wood can be heard day and night as our troops train for the oncoming siege. We have faced many enemies in our time. This intruder does not intimidate us. We will be ready.

... defenses are breaking ... one of our southern cities was attacked and robbed of its resources. Our allies are putting up a struggle, but this may be a battle we can not win. The war has not yet come to our homeland, but it is pressing ever closer. ... must be ready.

Mr. Sasuley

I am Sasuley, an Elf born of Orc heritage. There has been none like my kind before me. It was a miracle of ancient magic that brought me into this world. But for an elf to be born from the leader of an Orc civilization... It was dispicable. I was cast out as a monster, a freak of nature. It took all my father could do to protect me from the hungry eyes of the others. Though he did not understand my existance, he understood I was still his son... and he knew what must be done.

In the middle of night, I fled with my father's most trusted advisor. We ran far north, as far away from the rebelling orcs that were seeking to oerthrow my father for my existance. It was a long journey that led us to a small Elf encampment deep in the whispering forests of Valhalla. I told them my story, and they took me in as a miracle... a chance to unite the two races. They believed me to be sent by the ancient elves of old, through a spell cast through time. So they trained me to be as much of an elven warrior as any of their own native race. They taught me to be a leader, and showed me what it meant to lead a civilization. I learned much from these Elves, as they learned much about the Orc race from my stories about my distant homeland.

After many years, the elder of the Elven tribe summoned me, and told me what I must do. A war was raging, and our armies were losing. We had to resettle where none could find us... and I was to lead the new colony.

I marched north with small band of soldiers, carrying the future of our colony with me. We traveled far, and found a small crevice in the mountains to settle in. We begun the contruction of our cities, and built our walls high. Slowly, wandering elves started to join us, and our new colony grew.

From the lands emerged a great alliance of three kingdoms, strong in their bonds to be unbroken by war or greed... Two of these kingdoms combined into a single, more powerful force, while the third kingdom remained the same. A new ally was made amidst the early wars, who fought alongside the alliance with great valor.

A war raged in the south against a formidable opponent, and continued on for months with no clear victor. But then came a new opponent, cloaked under their talks of false peace only to be unveiled by one of their own. They attacked our cities in the north, but we stood our ground.

With wars in the north and the south, we never expected a third war to emerge in the east, against another powerful enemy intruding into our lands. So our forces were spread thin, as we defended our borders from all sides. Our troops were outnumbered, but we held fast behind our walls for as long as we could...

As time wore on, the wars took their toll, and our forces started to break. Our enemies pushed into our lands, as one by one our border cities fell. We fought with all our strength, but we were overwhelmed from all of our flanks, and could not hold off their invasions. The alliance started to fall apart as members joined the other kingdoms of the alliance, and some leaving the alliance altogether. They abandoned hope, and thus abandoned the respect of the leaders of the alliance. As more cities fell to the hands of the enemy, one of the founding alliance kingdoms left in order to talk peace with whom they could not defeat. Feeling betrayed, the other kingdoms fought as best they could, but their fate had already been decided. The enemy overwhelmed us, and our last cities fell. Our people were cast out of their homelands, forced to resettle in far distand lands where they only had hope to make a small colony in which to live out the rest of their lives.

But here the war has taken its toll, and I, Zaheir of The Risen, Warlord of Lightning Dust, write my final words. I leave my legacy to my successor, my son. May he lead our people to new greatness. Buried amidst the rubble of my last city in starta, I rest in peice.

Sir Thor

From the burning embers of an ancient smithy, Thor was brought forth. Pounded and shaped into a man of god-like powers, he was born into a prophesy of heroic deeds. Given an iron hammer cast by the gods, Thor took lordship over the lands of trolls.

Thor settled in the far corners of Valhalla, distant from the other kingdoms in the world. It is there that his colony grew in peace for years. With a steady income of resources and gold, the colony prospered. A powerful military was formed - the greatest of its time - and the lands were protected from outsiders.

An alliance was made with a handful of kingdoms from the world of Valhalla, and together the alliance made a pact to protect the world from outside invaders. War broke out in the east, and due to the pact agreements, Thor's kingdom was drawn into the war by politics. A massive force was sent to the east to make battle with the enemy, and was on the verge of taking its first city, when their homelands was brought under attack by an enemy from a neighboring world.

The armies withdrew back to their origin, and repelled the invaders. The kingdom took a new focus of strengthening their core, and building a force with which they could strike when another threat appeared....

...and another did appear. A new opponent appeared near Thor's realm, and Thor;s kingdom made battle with them. Try as they might, the offenders could not break through the fortified walls of Thors strongholds. The core was safe from the attacker, and then a counter strike was planned. The troops were rallied and massive armies marched forth into the heart of the enemies colonies in an attempt to liberate the slaves that were taken there. However the armies were pushed back, unable to accomplish the mission. Many lives were lost on both sides, but the war was not over.

A great mage from the kingdom erected towers of unknown power, and began an ancient ritual to summon the spirits of the underworld. He called upon the power of pestilence, and cast a plague upon the near enemy. The agonizing cries of pain were heard in the echoes of the mountains, at a pitch that would cause your very spine to curl. The plague spread through the enemies camps, but due to an unfortunate occurrence, also spread to one of Thors outerlying colonies. The mage was able to cure Thors cities, and save its inhabitants before too many lives were lost.

At was here at eras end that Thor laid down his hammer and gave lordship to his son to rule the colonies. His son founded a new kingdom, and rules henceforth. Thor lays to rest in the mountains of Cadmer, one with the stones from which he was forged.

Era 43... An era of failure, success, and new beginnings. It has been a long one, but one that I would be proud to call my best era yet. Here is my story...

It began with the creation of The Twisted, a kingdom that I formed with hopes of gathering a core group of players that could coordinate efficiently as a smaller kingdom. What was supposed to be the start of a kingdom of 5, turned out to be a kingdom of 2. We landed just south of the kingdom Ravage Regime, in what became a conflict of space. As we made war with RR, my brother in arms joined the kingdom of CRAZY, in search of a more successful era. I alone fought Ravage Regime in what was a losing battle, outnumbered and outpowered. I forfeited my cities, and re-settled further east in Armageddon. Here I built a one man core in a narrow strip between mountain and sea, and for a short time, defended it efficiently. However my new settlement was not destined to last as Pesto of Fight Club invaded my core through a weak point in my blockers, taking my cities.

After the two failed attempts at settling on the world of Armageddon, I relocated to the new world of Midgard. I settled in an open area, undefended by blockers.

FC Core on Fantasia was invaded. Blockers on the northern Fant border are being held to protect Mantrax.

Fantasia Core lost, retreated to Mantrax.

Traitors discovered in the midsts of FC.

Voluntarily left Fight Club with peaceful intentions, but was promptly attacked by a few select FC members. I retaliated and proceeded to take their cities and wreck them as my final stand.

Joined The Federation and restarted on Zetamania. Settled in an open area with plenty of resources available. It looks to be a good start.

The kingdom of Fight Club has split since my leave. 8 of the FC members have formed Flame Lords Legion, under the rule of Flame Lord Phoenix and Knightenwood. The remainder have joined Brotherhood Of the Wolf.

An enemy brigade has been spotted in our lands, and is camping outside of our mining city. I have dispatched a division of our elites to intercept the enemy army. May this massacre serve as warning to those who dare trespass on our sacred lands.

I have dispatched more troops to our mining city to assist in the battle against the enemy division.

The enemy division has retreated to open plains - my armies are in pursuit.

The army vanished without a trace. Our troops are returning to New Cadmusa for rest.

I was offered a position of glory in the ranks of The Federation, but I respectfully declined.

My cities were invaded by Bear Machines in southern Zeta.

*Parchment crackles as an aged scroll is gently unfurled to reveal writing of an ancient form. Frantic hands brush off the centuries of dust that masks what is written. As the dust falls away, the history of an ancient king is once again seen before the human eye...*

I, Sir Cadmus the Noble, hail from my father the Valiant, son of the Twisted. I write thy history and proclaim this parchment sacred to the memories of kingdoms fallen and born. May these words forever rest as tribute to the past.

Born into nobility, I claimed the title of Viceroy of Fight Club upon my first breath of air. I grew by the side of noblemen from all around the world, treated with respect that I had not yet earned. It is only from time that I was taught the ways of a leader, but learn I did.

Wars were waged, and relations made - but it was after many years that I was granted the greatest position of nobility.. I was crowned King of Fight Club.

I held my position with honor, and spent countless days working to better the kingdom in its best interest. I developed a royal decree, which would be used by future rulers long after I had passed, that set our political ways in stone. The decree was written and approved upon by the Council body, and was prepared to be announced to the Kingdom population. But upon its announcement, things did not go as well as we had hoped.

A large debate was sparked by the decree, and accusations were made against my judgement in the kingdom. It was said that I ruled the kingdom with more power than I had, and acted alone... Little known was it that the Council ruled as a whole, and I was only the final voice in the kingdom. Yet I was to blame for all of the misdeeds and misfortunes that fell upon our kingdom, as it is natural to blame others for their own mistakes. I argued my reasoning, but it would not be heard. With great remorse, I disembarked from the kingdom in peace, and left the crown to my second in command.

My peaceful leave did not last long. My cities were attacked by aggressors from the kingdom, those who I argued with on the matter of decree. I retaliated, and sent my private forces to make battle with those that dishonorable took my undefended cities. I have held my ground for many months against this oppression, but knew my stand could only last so long.

As the ink dries upon this parchment, I hear the battering of rams on my city gates. They will not hold out long, I must go and take my final stand with my brothers. My final strength of magic will deliver this scroll to the Archives, hidden away from the burning flame of politics and deceit.

May father of the Elven race watch over me. Let the war drums speak.

Now a member of The Federation, we have landed in Valhalla.

OOP war with GoTF is imminent. We have high hopes.

We fought a losing battle against GoTF, and came to peaceful terms. We now spread across Valhalla to grow and prepare for armies from other worlds.

My original cities were taken in the war with GoTF, and I have since resettled in the northwest. I have secured my own core here in a mountain basin.

Another player is here in the basin with me, and I will soon wage war with him.

I have dispatched my troops to take his farm and lumber city. It is successful.

He has retaken his lumber city and killed my army. I have more troops en-route to finish him.

I have successfully eliminated the enemy in my core. I captured a Farming city, Armory, and Lumber city.

The peasants of the Lumber city revolted, but I recaptured it and harshly punished the rebels.

An enemy (NBEC) approaches Federation territory. I have sent my troops to slaughter them. We are now at a state of war.

After the final capture of the last NEBC armory on Valhalla, killing some 60k troops, I have ordered the return of my armies to the south where they will wage war with the kingdom of Relentless.

A great force is amassing. The clash of steel and iron ring throughout Valhalla, as the smoke billows from the forges. A great storm is coming. Thy enemies shall fall. The storm is coming.

VICTORY!
They surrendered. Sir Cadmus The Bold. We have won the battle!
We killed a total of 8904 enemy troops, 43 peasants and injured 12813 enemy troops.

We killed a total of 37130 enemy troops, 0 peasants and injured 45381 enemy troops.

After many more battles, a peace was signed by the two warring kingdoms of Federation and Relentless. War was waged with Domination, and the brother kingdom of NEBC - Unbreakables. Both opponents were successfully repelled from our lands, as well as the opponent of old, Antifederation.
