The averege American got more then the double buying power then the normal western euro. So id say America wins.

1 pound = 2 dollars, but thats just for today.

1 euro = 1.4 dollars, hahah the pound beats about half of europe.

Hmm, oh and America wouldn't die if Middle East cut us off. If you actually new this theirs plenty of oil off the coast of Florida, and the Gulf area, but our dam higher ups, won't do it because of stupid *beepin* activist. Though if the Middle east did cut us off our government would go full speed, and get every last drop out of our American homeland. Our government hasn't been looking for other oil wells areas since the 70's if our government started looking, we would have plenty to ustain ourselves. Also our government isn't stoping cuba who is drilling in the gulf. Cuba's taking our oil sneaky basturds!

the dollar is and has been in decline pretty soon everyone (a lot already have) will start selling thier oil in euros furthering the decline of the dollar... The Us dollar will not be the biggest global currency for much longer

Why do you bring up the value of the currency, a norvergian krona is worth one tenth of a pound but a standard norvergian still have a higher buying power and living standard then a standard briton.

The dollar is low wich makes it good for european people to buy it.

By buying it the price for dollars goes up cause dollars are been asked alot.
Investors need the dollar to buy stuff from America wich is cheaer cause the dollar is so cheap.

But eventually it will go up again cause it is being asked so much since it is so cheap.

Euro is best to have at the moment, but if you want to invest its best to buy dollars and take the risk, but if it goes up it will be worth way more then with what you bought them for.

No idea if this is true but i just had this with economy ^^
