yes if the scout is moving it should still block it as long as its within the distance needed to actually block a city drop

There seem to be some kind of change in coding or something? I had 9% against orc army (I have Ponies) and enemy orc (probably gaia unsure) 


I hit to suicide, lost 9%. Wanted to do 1 more to restart the map, clicked again now I have 18%. 

Hit again, lost. 
Clicked army again now I have 36-%
I beat the enemy army on next hit

No aotd casted or any kind of spells.
I just wanted to suicide

Yes this scenario is accurate for attacking gaia. Because they have low OP they dont hit back hard and you can usually hit them until you win. Especially using T3 units. 


Human swordsmen have a similar effect, they'll kill more gaia and get improved odds. Granted it's less likely from such low percents to begin with. 


catas work in a similar fashion as well just dont smack other catas

DP is for chances. OP is what dictates kills. Exact kills are based on OP/DP ratio still, but in general, Army A’s OP vs Army B’s DP dictates kills, and vice versa.


Gaia, being low OP for the DP, means you take far less damage than you would from someone with balanced OP and DP. 

Best example involves pez. If your scout hits an army of pure pez, even if you hit at 0% chance, you’ll bounce instead of getting slaughtered cause they have 0 OP.

The only possible explanation is you gain xp against him while he got no exp from you. Also he has to be gaia with low offense. 


Also the difference in military level could be a contributing factor.

When ever you prep a city, and you get any percentage you can use Discord Scope to figure out what you will get full prep.

Step one:
If you're not on Discord, ask for an invite.

Step two:
PM Scope from VU Discord just so others do not see it.

Step three:
Copy paste the entire report and enter

Step four:
type /attack

And then you will get a full report on what percentage you will get each hour.


Also there is a link to use to put scope into private servers so you can post calls there for your kd mates to see as well

Guy is close to my city, I saw I put alot of buildings in production, he uses force march (maybe bts) and insta takes the city. What happens to the 10k buildings that I put to build before the city fell?

The way I understand this is:

When you take a city with low morale, there is a high chance the city will revolt. Good way to check is by moving peasants in army, if they refuse means it will revolt. I was also told if you take a city with no peasants, the new peasants that come are mine, and those can not revolt.

So I took a city and enemy wrecked all homes. I sent peasants  to that city and started building homes. After some built and peasants arrived, I started moving peasants in the army. I moved a bit too much to homes, and when I tried to remove the few back to army, they refused.

So even my own peasants are no longer mine and could revolt?

The peasants which appear in the city, won't revolt, but if you move some from the army, they will revolt, you have to wait before you move peasants to the city until the morale is high enough so that the peasants agree to move (or cast happiness a few times to get it up)

Regarding the pes & city. Morale doesn't affect being able to move them in or out. It's a time based thing.

Morale does affect the peasants movement if you cast happiness and raise the morale to 100, the next tick you can move out the peasants. If you only raise it a bit, in that case yes, you still have to wait.

I know its not possible to “hide” resources when enemy plunders you, but what happens when you stone to gold your own warehouses while you have lots of stone on the market? Would it include the stone on market in the cast?

The most you can do in this regard is convert resources from one kind of resource that WILL be plundered into a type of resource that WILL NOT be plundered.

Example: You have 100 million food and your undefended 90k farm city is about to be plundered next tick- it has 75k farms and 15k homes.

If you converted your 100 million food into 75 million tree you could potentially 'hide' some of your resources from plunder, assuming the city had 0 lumbermills or warehouses, because the enemy would only plunder Gold/Food/Slaves from a 15k homes/75k farms 0 other buildings city.

Question about taking vs liberating your own cities. I am in enemy core, took a city but enemy took it back, then I went back and liberated to myself and not take over. My logic was, peasants will stay, and I get taxes, and city can not revolt if ai liberate. I am told when I take over I get slaves which can be sold or used, and taking over is usually better. Can you guys give mr some more pros and cons, and what do you usually do, take or liberate to yourself?

The capture attack is almost always better- if youre choosing between capturing a city back for yourself or liberating it back to yourself its usually better to go for the capture attack.

If you have way more land than your opponent the calculus changes a bit because the capture attack becomes worse and the liberate attack becomes better, but even at the most extreme ends of this the capture attack is still usually better.

Could someone please explain the method in finding the native price if there is stuff on market. For example, price for slaves is 134 now, what price would be to native, how to calculate that?

The price you can native at is 1/2 * (current average market price) 


Unless it exceed the highest price you can native at:
Food: <1.1
Stone: <0.6
Tree: <1.35
Slave: <100

Notice it is a < sign and not a <= sign. You will never be able to native food at 1.1 even. Must be 1.099999999 to native.

Another mental note is that natives dont always buy even if you sold at the price they are willing to pay for. So just keep selling 1 extra resource until the native buy.

If market is empty, you can sell to natives at highest price listed above.

How to find the average market price currently:
Sell 1 food for 6 gold
Sell 1 stone for 3 gold
Sell 1 tree for 8 gold
Sell 1 slaves for 500 gold

They will give a message like this:


    Your total price can not be over 25 of the average market price (max 2.0296875 gold for 1 tree)!


The 25 up there is missing a % sign after it. What it essentially mean is that 2.0296875 gold per tree is 25% more than (average market price). Take that number divided by 1.25 you will get the (average market price) or just divide by 2.5 to get your (native price).

2.0296876/1.25= 1.62375 = average market price
2.0296876/2.5= .811875 = native price
