Visual appearance of cities
16:10:40 Sep 16th 22 - Prince Charmer:

When you cast earthquake on enemy city and it loses a lot of buildings, would it decrease the visual appearance of the city or it always stays the same?

Lets say you cast lots of spells from city and burn 20k mage towers, would that lower the visual appearance of the city?
If both of these are a no, is there a way to make the appearance lower?
Do walls have any effect, if I take over a city, wreck all walls, would it become smaller?

16:51:05 Sep 16th 22 - Konstant (The Ancient Areion):

No. Wreck a 90k to a 1 GT city and that city will still have the appearance of a 90k.

16:54:13 Sep 16th 22 - HorusPanic (Sir Horus):

Once visual size increases it will never decrease under any circumstance

There is an interesting phenomenon though that you should be aware of regarding walls ...

Lets say you build enough buildings in one shot to jump two visual sizes. The colony only grows visually one size. You would have to build at least one more building in a separate event to make it 'grow' visually. Now if your land drop maxes out your space to build but you really want that visual growth, you can build walls to trigger the visual growth.

Walls count as buildings, everything Horus and Konstant said is true (it usually is)

22:18:53 Sep 16th 22 - HorusPanic (Mr. Bill Gates):

Walls do not count as buildings in my opinion. You can have 90k buildings + 2300 walls on top of that. Walls do not count towards your land count, but could trigger the visual enlargement given the special circumstance of large land drops.
