Mr. Shey Ram

Lived in Era 14, got 1 heir(s) (Leon Ram) and was a member of Peacekeepers

Shey Ram was born in the city of Elm Plains. His father, Seil Ram, was the Lord Captain commader of the armies and valiant men of the Crest of Ram. With him as the Lord Captain, no one could oppose them. How many times had the forces of evil tried to overrun the great capitol city of Elm Plains, and how many times had Seil Ram driven the invaders back?

When Shey was 7 his father bagan training him in the art of war. In 5 long years of hard training, Shey became a blademaster. In training, he could out-preform and beat any of his fathers best comrads. They used to say, like father, like son, he was unbeatable. 8 more years went by, he now aided his father in battle. When they went to battle, the enemies men would fall like rain in a thunderstorm. The rivers would run red with blood and the earth's thirst would be quenched.

Elm Plains became a center of trade, commerce, and knowledge. It was the richest city in Mantrax. This gained them many allies.

After a particularly tough battle, his father started acting strangley. No one knew what was wrong with him. Soon they got news of an army of 800,000 of the enemies men marched toward Elm Plains. On the eve of battle his father woke up screaming that The Dark God was speaking to him. Shey and the men figured it to be a dream, how wrong they were. At his fathers command their elite trained army of 30,000 marched against the other army of 800,000 men. The soldiers and Shey grumbled to themselves about this being madness, but no one ever questioned the Lord Captains orders, ever. They met the enemy in battle tearing through their lines like a knife through butter. But a betrayal was made, halfway through the battle Shey's father joined the other side. The tides turned for the other side. Shey rallied the remaining forces for a last desperate stand. He thought as long as we're going to die, we might as well make them bleed for what they've done. While all his men fell around him Shey stood alone, 6 feet in front of him his father stood, sword held at the ready. Shey couldn't bring himself to attack his father, even if he was a betrayer. Then Shey remembered something that his father had told him once, hesitation kills you. Shey lunged at his new enemy. Shey fought with all his might. But he was still no match for his father. Blackness formed at the edge of his vision, he fell down, unconcious.

His father moved on and burned Elm Plains to the ground.

Shey woke up and found his city burned and pillaged. He sold himself as a mercanary. He had a loyal team of mercanaries. Together they saved money until they had enough to make a city. His loyal followers became The Obliterators. They all vowed to bring justice to the world. He had two commanders in his new army, one was named Tamain Saar, the other, Obo Elio. Together these three men could defend against a hundred men. Now they work as a team to find Shey's father.

On his travels Shey, Obo, and Tamain met some great men named The Peacekeepers with the same idea as them, to bring justice to the world. Now they fight together to remove the evil from the world.

Wars ravaged the land but the Peacekeepers have managed to defeat any foe. But The Falcons are a formidable foe. Shey remembers the day it happened. The Falcons closed in around him and his friends. They came in and burned the towns one by one. They slaughtered the men and children and took the women. The govenors of each city were brought out into the town square and tortured for days on end. The horror of it was unimanigble. Blood flooded the streets and stains of red splattered the walls. The tapastries torn and the tables broken.

Shey managed to lead a small scout army oout and regrouped with his friends at Riverrun. He thought he had escaped, but he was wrong. The Falcons followed him with 300k men armies after they were done with his other city. Shey remembers his words he said to Tamain and Obo as he saw them marching toward the gates of Borderlands, "They have taken the wall and the frontline. They have overrun the defenses. The fate of the Peacekeepers of Mantrax rests with us. I intend to survive this fight." After this he drew his sword, mounted his horse and charged at they enemy. As he did this he roared, "For the Peacekeepers! For Mantrax! For Glory! We will not give up without a fight! Everyone dies sometime, but for me, it sure as hell isn't now! Long live the Peacekeepers!"

The cry was repeated down the line, "Long live the Peacekeepers!" The clash of metal rang out in the clear night sky. Shey and his friends fought with such ferocity that The Falcons were driven back three times that day. The sun dawned red and Shey led a final attack on The Falcons. Both sides fought for four and a half hours straight until Shey took an arrow to the shoulder. His arm dropped to the side, useless. His vision grew hazy. The world went black.

He awoke to find his friends and 1,000 men from his old 40,000 man army smiling at him. They had won. When Shey fell off his horse he had accidently driven his sword through the other general's heart. The Peacekeepers live on. With that Shey stood and marched on.

In the battle Tamain's and Obo's cities had been destroyed. Shey led them toward the great wall he had caotured a long time ago. On his way they were granted free passage from MDOW. Shey marched day and night until it happened. There had been an oathbreaker among MDOW

The army controlled by Thephobia charged at them. Shey fought back to back with Tamain, Obo, and Obo's nephew Bwack. Shey was about to fall when he saw another army on the horizon. Halflings. They charged into Thephobia and started helping Shey and his friends. Bwack took a blade to the stomach and fell blacked out. Shey picked up Bwack and carried him over to a halfling. Obo and Tamain were already being snathed up onto ponies by halflings. Shey jumped onto one also and rode out of the battle. Over to his left he saw Obo get hit in the neck with a lance. Obo fell. To his right he saw Tamain's pony get nocked out from under him. It was too late for Obo so Shey jumped from his horse and save Tamain. Together him and Tamain got away from the battle. Shey barely saw Bwack and a group of halflings disapear over a hill.

Shey and Tamain moved on for days without rest. When he got back to Riverrun he found that they were preparing for war. He found his son, Leon, and asked what was wrong. Thephobia was marching toward them.

It was dawn. Shey, Tamain, Leon, and Clamin, Tamains son, stood at the front of the army. They charged. The sound of steel on steel ripped the silence of the valley. Blood rained from the sky. Shey thought they were actually going to win. But that hope faded soon. Fire rained from the sky, killing Shey's men. A drop of molten lava struck Shey's chest. He fell down. He laid there as Thephobia's general walked over. At the last moment, Clamin, Leon, and Tamain leaped at the general. The generals guards wipped there pikes around impaling Tamain. Leon dodged the pikes and struck the general in the heart while Clamin jumped aside and cut down all the pikemen. Even then Shey knew it was too late. As Leon knelt beside him Shey looked up at his son. "Bring peace to this world." With those words Shey closed his eyes, never to open them again.

Mr. Leon Ram

Lived in Era 14 and got 1 heir(s) (Leon Ram).

As his father said those words to him he knew what he had to do. Leon stood up and grabbed Clamin by the arm. Together they journyed toward Fantasia.

Leon and Clamin were walking cautiously down a gorge. They had heard something trailing them for days now. They knew they could take on pretty much anything that attacked them, but what troubled them was that this sounded like more than one something. Aruptly Clamin stopped. They're right above us Clamin said as he pointed toward the top of the gorge. Well lets find out what this thing is Leon said as he drew his sword. eleven bandits walked out from the cover of the brush. The leader was a girl with a wicked looking knife hanging from her belt. Clamin reached behind his back and grabbed his bow. Twang. an arrow sped from Clamin's bow and buried itself in a mans windpipe. The fight had begun. Leon was one with his sword. Duck, slice, thrust, block, parry. Soon only the girl was left. Leon laughed, "Some challenge you 'bandits' were, I'm not even breathing hard." The girl grinned and said, "You think you've won?" She charged at Leon not even caring as she took an arrow to the leg. She flailed her knife at him. Leon easily stepped back and sliced her stomach. As her innards spilled out onto the dirt she laughed and ran at him once more. Leon had figured out by now that this thing wasn't human. The fight went on for ten minutes. By then, she had an arrow sticking from her heart, an arrow through her head, one in her leg, a sword mark through her stomach, one leg cut off, and an arm cut off. Halfway through her swing she changed its course and swung it at Leon's leg. Leon fell down. The girl jumped on him and was a bout to stab him. An arrow hit her stomach, but it hadn't come from Clamin. Soon it was raining arrows all on the girl. Some orcs rushed over and knocked the blade out of the girls hand. The girl turned to dust. Elves stood up from where they had been shooting. An orc came up to Leon, "You fought well against this beast, I would be honored to welcome you to our group. Leon accepted.

This group was called The Alliance. The Alliance's purpose was to kill bandits. It was a combination of all the races. Even though the group had all races you had to choose where your loyalty lied. Leon chose the orcs seeing as they saved him. Clamin chose elves.

The Alliance set up camp. Leon was uneasy about those mountains, there was a rumor that wild men inhabited them. The Alliance had been riding through them all day. Late in the evening they had found a cave to camp in. Leon was awoken by a wild roar. He quickly grabbed his sword and stood. A group of wild men were charging through the cave mouth. He called for the orcs to rally to him. He called for help from Clamin. Leon looked over. Clamin just spat at him and ran. Then Leon remembered, Clamin's grandparents had been killed by orcs. That was why Clamin wouldn't talk to him. Leon looked arund him, only five halflings remained and they had been surrounded. Some of the humans had joined the wild men and the rest of them were backed up against the wall of the cave. The dwarves had been taken captive and were getting carried away. And the trolls were dead. Leon remembered some of his training. Go for the leader. Leon saw a man with a wolf pelt hanging around his shoulders and a blade that looked just like the girl's he saw a while ago. This time Leon knew what to do. He rushed up to the leader and kicked the sword out of his hand. The man instantly turned to dust. Suddenly the wild men stopped fighting and ran. The Alliance rushed over to Leon. Leon looked around, only the orcs remained. Leon led them out of the mountains. When he got out he saw a city being built. He started moving toward it. He was almost there when he saw something coming out of the gate. Horsemen came galloping toward them. Leon mounted his horse and signaled his men to do the same. Leon ran away but the horsemen still followed. The horsemen followed for days and days. Leon and his men finally stopped running. Leon laid an ambush for their pursuers. Leon couldn't run any longer and this was their only chance even though the horsemen outnumbered them 4 to 1. The horsemen set up camp in a small clearing near the ambush. When everyone was asleep some orcs that were planted in the trees started firing arrows. The humans woke uo and started running. They ran into a small valley. The orcs rolled boulders down the ledge and killed the humans. Leon built a city over the cite of the victory.

King Leon Ram

Lived in Era 15, got 0 heir(s) and was the leader of Shattered Screams

Leon watched from his city wall as the armageddon swept toward him, obliterating all in its path. His men stood all along the wall watching the coming of their inevitable doom. As Leon watched he saw an elf on a horse, charging at breakneck speed toward the castle. Leon frowned who would be out at this time riding a horse? Leon called for his men to open the gates. The horseman charged to Leon and jumped off his horse while it was still moving. The elf was Clamin! Breathless, Clamin spoke to Leon, "I'm sorry what I did to you back when we were with The Alliance. I will now pay back to you everything I have ever done." Clamin stepped out onto the main gate. He raised his arms high and shouted to the heavens, "The end has come! Armageddon is at hand! Let the powers of the Apocalypse spare this man and all his loyal followers! I give my life to you!" A blue glow started to swirl around Clamin. It kept getting faster and faster until suddenly flew outward and acted as a shield against the oncoming flame. Sweat ran down Clamin's face and Leon's men shifted uneasily. Suddenly the shield failed and Clamin collapsed to the floor, dead. The armageddon rushed inward and consumed the city and Leon and his men.

Leon screamed in pain as everything he had ever known and loved came ripping out of him, leaving only his darkest moments. Terror, hoplesness, pain, hate, anger, all those thoughts pounded him from all sides. Then he heard a voice in the distance saying words that chilled him to his marrow.

Bitter blood
Blood so bitter
Drink the blood and crack the bone
Crack the bone and suck the marrow
Bitter marrow, sweet the screams
Singing screams
Shattered Screams
Tiny souls
Acrid souls
Gobble them down
So sweet the pain
The pain so sweet
Rip the soul
Swallow it whole

It seemed like it would never end

On the brink of insanity, Leon begged it to stop. Just as he said that, the sound of roaring fire surrounded him. Just as Leon was wondering what was happening pain ripped through him, making seconds seem like eternities. Then as suddenly as the armageddon had started, it stopped.

Only 500 of his former 20k force was left. Leon sent out scout parties all over the land to locate his allies

One day a scout party came back and told him of the surrounding land. A river to the north, forests and mountains to the east, plains and a few enemies to the south, but to the west, Legacy. Leon remembered well the power of Legacy. They would send 200k men armies at you without even caring about the costs. They were the best kingdom in the land. Leon had no intenton of war against them.

A group of messengers told Leon of where his teammates were. The king and Truefailure were to the east. Sir Telcontar was far away on the otherside of the world. Viceroy Wedge Talon and Viceroy Donut were north. Ms. Sharana and Mr. Abaddonii were south and the scouts couldn't find the others. The messengers also told Leon that they would continue the war with the kingdom of Noob Table. Leon ran out to the barracks to rouse his army. The hunt had begun.

Leon sat on his dragon like creature. It was a giant serpent like thing with huge teeth and claws. It had wings and could fly also. It seemed to have been a creature who survived armageddon and its mother died. Leon had found it outside his walls at the end of armageddon. He had decided to tame it, now it was his loyal follower and it helped him in battle. Its name, Shadow. The column had been moving south for four days and still there were no reports of NT. Suddenly a scout party burst through the bushes. The party was bloody and torn with swords drawn and arrows nocked. One ran up to Leon and shouted, "NT four miles ahead of us sir!" Leon calmly lifted his hand and gave the command for the battle maneuver four corners. Instantly men divided themselves into four equal groups. Three of the four groups rushed off in opposite directions. The maneuver four corners was very effective. One group would come straight at them from the front. While the front group was distracting, two other groups would come in and attack the flanks. The last group would wait in reserve and watch the battle in case of the highly unlikely chance that the enemy would win. There was only one way that Leon knew of to counter it and that wasn't very effective. You had to send horsemen to keep charging down the attacking coming from the front while you turned and fought the flank attackers. While you did this you had to get your archers and put them in the middle of all your men and defend them so they could shoot arrows at the reserve group. Leon had only seen that counter work once. This battle, Leon was the distracting party. With a wild scream Leon charged toward the flag he could now see above the treetops. Leon ran out of the trees to find only one man holding a flag. Leon looked around, confused. Suddenly 1k NT troops rushed out of the trees and took Leon and his companions captive. The NT troops journeyed very far. Finally they came to a giant castle. An NT flag flapped in the wind above the tallest spire. Leon and his men were taken into the castle. Leon seemed to have vague memories of being to that castle before. That wasn't possible though because he had burned every NT city he had gotten into. Then Leon passed a tapastry that had been urinated on by many more than one person. It had the insignia of the House of Ram on it. Now Leon remembered what this castle was. The bastards had taken Riverrun! Leon glared at the man leading him along. The man just smirked.

Leon was beaten twice a day, once when he got up and once when he went to bed. He actually didn't even have a bed. They made him sleep standing up. If he fell down he was beaten for three hours longer than usual. To wake him up they broke his ribs. When he misbehaved, he got one of his fingernails ripped off. It was madness.

One day as Leon got up broken and bruised he had an idea. Leon remembered that they left him everything he came with, even his weapons. Leon knew the only thing they were useful for was killing himself and they had been enchanted to make it so he couldn't. They had left him everything to remind him that he was helpless. Besides what could one man do against 200k soldiers? But they had left him one thing that Leon knew was a bad mistake for them. They had left him his horn. The horn had been given to him many years ago by a wizard as a present for a great victory. The horn could call fallen heroes back from the dead to fight for him. Leon took it out and blew hard on it. Instantly ghosts started coming back from the dead. Leon said three words and NT's doom was predicted, "Kill Noob Table." The ghosts flooded the hallways swinging swords at NT's troops. But every time they touched an NT troop with a sword the ghosts disapeared. Soon all the ghosts were dead. A guard walked up to Leon and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. "Ah ah ah." Was all he said and then took him straight to the torture chamber.

Now just by luck an army passing by had heard the horn. The horns tune meant that whoever blew it would take any help they could get and from anyone. It also meant that they would help whoever helped them when he/she needed it. The man turned his army toward the city and charged.

Leon was just at the door of the torture chamber when he heard the sound of steel on steel echoing through the palace. The guard never even gave a thought about Leon and rushed off. Leon went to the other prison cells and let his teammates out. twenty-five of them were dead from the harsh torture and thirty-six were so badly injured that Leon had to have his men carry them. Leon led his men straight to the armory. Leon busted open the door with the help of his companions. Crack! The door flew off its hinges smashed two guards that had been standing there. Leon went over to the weapons and armor. He took a suit of armor that was had gold melded onto the sides with a black tower in front of a rising sun, a long straight sword with a hilt inlaid with rubies, a shield with the same symbol as the armor, a dagger that had symbol of life (A tree with fruit hanging from its branches) on the hilt, and a bow made of yew. With him and his men fully armed he rushed out into the hallway. He was instantly attacked by five NT troops. He spun around with his leg stuck out. Whack! He heard the sound of a bone snapping. The man fell over clutching his face. While the man was still falling Leon drove his boot down into the mans stomach so hard that the man fell over dead. Leon jumped aside just as a sword sliced past him. Leon turned to the man who had tried to stab him, and impaled him before chopping off his head. Three more left and not a scratch on Leon. Leon ran at the next man whose eyes were wide with fear. The man sliced wildly at Leon but Leon was too fast. Leon slid to the side, grabbing the man's wrist and breaking with the hilt of his sword, all in one smooth movement. The next moment the mans ribcage exploded as Leon's sword blasted through from the otherside. Leon turned to the last two of the five NT troops. One of them was already diving at Leon with his sword out in front of him. Leon was ready though. Leon easily brought his sword down on the mans leg, severing the man's hamstring, while the man was on the ground struggling to move Leon walked over and brought his foot down on the man's neck, crushing his windpipe. As Leon walked over to the last man Leon realized that this was the man that had tortured him and been very mean to him. Leon thought there was something familiar about him. When he thought about it, the man looked almost like him! The man looked at him with cold icy blue eyes. Then it Leon, this man was his grandfather Seil Ram the traitor. As Seil watched the recognition in Leon's eyes he laughed. What Seil didn't know was that Leon was a much better fighter than Shey. Leon started the fight by an upward swing, Seil easily countered it. Leon met Seil's overhead attack with a feinged lower attack that he switched to high in mid-swing. Then the battle became more heated. Clash. Clash. Leon matched Seil's skill with moves no one he had faced had ever been able to block, counter, or dodge. But Seil was slightly better than Leon. Leon was more cunning though. But even though Seil was only slightly better than Leon in the end Seil had Leon pinned to the ground. Seil grinned at Leon and said, "Time for you to meet the sweet embrace of death." Leon stared back up at the traitor and replied, "No, it's not my time. It's yours." With that he took the dagger out of his boot and stabbed Seil in the neck. Blood spurted out of Seil's jugulars as he crumpled slowly to the floor. Better than any Ram to come at sworfighting, the line of Ram had produced its greatest warrior.

Leon realized that the sound of fighting had stopped and that men in the same armor as he was in were circled around him. A man walked up to Leon. He said to him, "Hello I am the king of Ashfall and I do not think you are from there. Where did you get that uniform?" Leon took off his helmet and said, "I was a prisoner here your majesty. I found this stuff in the armory. I am from the flag the Peacekeepers but they are all the way across the world and I can't reach them before armageddon." The king looked around at the bodies of people Leon had just killed, "Well you are obviously very skilled in fighting, tough because not many people can survive the torture of NT, and it took a lot of courage to kill your own grandfather. Would you like to join Ashfall?" Leon was surprised that he had asked. Leon thought that the men would have killed them as soon as they found out that he was not Ashfallian and was wearing their armor. "I will join you but I must get back to the Peacekeepers as fast as I can."

After being with Ashfall for awhile Leon started liking it more than he had liked the Peackeepers. After many battles and many stunning shows of courage and valor Leon was promoted to knight of the kings inner circle. Leon decided to stay with Ashfall and serve them. One day Leon stepped into the king's council and took his seat. They were discussing if they should go to war with the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven were some people to the east of them. Ashfall was being crushed slowly and surely by the expansion of Arresonia and the expansion of Kingdom of Heaven. Arresonia was much larger, more powerful, and had stronger allies. Kingdom of Heaven was the target. Halfway through the discussion, a messenger came in and went straight towards the king. Kneeling down, the messenger said, "A message for you from the king of Kingdom of Heaven." It said...

Hail King Galadorn of the mighty Kingdom of Ash,

I am Linlaubu, King of the Kingdom of Heaven..

Presently, we're looking into our expansion policy and my military advisors have chosen eastwards.. While my king, you are on our west and we have no quarrels.. It would suit both of our kingdoms rewarding should we have a NAP.. That way, we do not have to worry about each other whilst campaigning else where..

May I formally request for a Non Aggression Pact with thy kingdom my king?

Looking forward to your favorable reply,
Linlaubu

This still left a problem. Ashfall was still being crushed between Arresonia and Kingdom of Heaven. After many an arguement, the council agreed on a solution. The great King Galadorn stood. In a voice of a king he said to the hall of the king, "All who can shall send an army to the western side of the river where I and Blackwell are now located. I am currently negotiating with the King of KoH, so do not attack any of their people or cities just yet. If he agrees to my terms, the cities east of Vronkthar and to the south, near the bridge on the western side, will be surrendered to Ashfall. If he declines, then we will assume war and lay waste to their kingdom. With a roar that could have been heard from miles away the kingdom agreed. Leon rushed out of the building and onto Shadow to go to his city to prepare for the oncoming time.

Leon sat on Shadow at the front of his army. He was going to the otherside of the river to help his fellow teammates execute their plan. As Leon looked at the surrounding land he saw an orc on his horse riding toward the him. Even from this distance Leon knew who he was, Dain. One of his spies. Halting right in front of Leon, Dain gave him a report of what he had seen inside Kingdom of Heaven's main palace. It turned out that Obo Elio's (A good friend of his father's) son Bwack who had been a very good friend of Leon had joined Kingdom of Heaven. Bwack died at armageddon and one of Bwack's friends had taken his place. Also, Kingdom of Heaven might be prepping for war against them. Dain had also figured out that Kingdom of Heaven might ally with them and help them fight in wars.

It was a month later, Leon had just recieved a letter that Sir Faulinei had his army Faulinei Lifeguards peparing for attack on Leon's city of Arafel. Leon knew he couldn't win the battle. He had 5 trained soldiers and 500 peasants. They had 500-1500 trained men. Leon sent orders to tear down all buildings and get peasants into the worst moods as possible. That way, if this Faulinei took over his city he would find 500 angry peasants, and hardly any buildings. If he waited too long then there wasn't going to be an Arafel at all.

House of Venora, a tricky little kingdom. HoV had made an NAP with Ashfall awhile ago but it seemed HoV might break the NAP along with their honor. Leon was travelling south to the border of Ashfall to help make sure HoV didn't break through Ashfall's lines of defense. His army he was taking there was small, only about 5,000 men. Leon's plan was to make a giant city which would be his capitol, where he would make thousand upon thousands of troops to crush any resistance that tried to harm Ashfall.

Bit by bit Leon sent more men south, he now had 23,000 men down there now was the time to find a use for them.

Leon heard rumors of skirmishes with Legacy and Serenity on the borders of the lands. Serenity he didn't mind but Leon would have struck down everylast Legacy man if he could. Sir Roth and Sir Blackwell had been attacked by Legacy so far. Leon wanted to help them so he sent out 50,000 men to reinforce Sir Roth and Sir Blackwell.

The sound of marching filled Leon's ears as he led his men toward Klaipedia. His armies morale wasn't very high because of troubles down south. His peasants in Yuligh were leaving the city and all that remained there was the army. In result he coudn't afford his armies. Leon had an idea of a way to help Sir Roth and Sir Blackwell and Get his economy back to normal all at the same time. Take Sir Saloman's city of Klaipedia. Leon could see Klaipedia, its spires rising over the forest ahead of him. Legacy was about to feel the might of Ashfall. As Leon charged over the ridge, suddenly a man with a staff shot a bolt of crimson at them. It engulfed Leon and his army.

When the dust cleared, Leon found himself at a city called Zex which was owned by brainless savages (Legacy) who barely turned back Leon's force which was half the size of their's if Leon remembered correctly. It seemed that the man he had seen at Klaipedia had been a wizard of some sort and had teleported Leon and his men somewhere else! That was ok though as long as Leon got a city.

Leon charged toward Zex with the Might of Ashfall trailing behind him. There was no wall on the city so it probably wasn't going to be too hard. Leon and his men streamed through the streets like a black river, sparking peasants while slaughtering guards, soldiers, and royalty. It was an easy victory.

Zex became a great city in the hands of Leon, but one day it all stopped. Zeragoth, who had destroyed Sir Roth was attacking Leon.

Leon knew what the outcome of the battle would be even before it began. Leon had no choice but to flee the city with his army but only to find that Zeragoth had surrounded them. Leon quietly snuck out onto the plains and killed enough men to get out of there. After throwing the torches Zeragoth pursued Leon, it didn't take much time to catch him. The soldiers in Leon's army, wanting to protect their leader above all else hit Shadow's rear and made him fly far away.

Leon finally arrived at Jeruvhen to find that Serenity had killed everyone but Ashfall near him. Leon also found that the king, Galadorn, had been taken captive by some rogues while travelling through a pass. Viceroy Chenda had disapeared while on a mission with her troops to expand Ashfall's borders. Everyone else had not been seen for a very long time. Therefore the senate of the people of Ashfall had voted Leon to viceroy as a temporary replacement.

Armageddon was cast and the world started drawing to an end, Ashfall was slowly but inevitably getting dragged toward defeat with only three members left, and war ravaged the land. Leon called together a meeting. Leon had some ideas of how to save Ashfall. Leon stood from his chair and voiced his opinions in a booming voice--"Ashfall will be destroyed soon if we do not take action to stop it from being obliterated and lost in history forever. I have a few ideas of how to save us and our kingdom. Either we hope to make it through the last of the era and survive armageddon, use the join or die method, create a new kingdom, or Blackwell and I, being the highest of rank, each make seperate kingdoms that wiill work together so we get twice as many people."

Leon moved to the very south-western corner to await Blackwell. The location was filled with PKS members so Leon had very decent protecton. The time of Ashfall would soon be over, it was time to leave Ashfall behind and start over with a new beginning.

While travelling to his new location Leon was taken captive by men who had a reputation to be very brutal. Leon's last thoughts:

All I see is night
blackness, death, and decay
My world turns dark as the blood red sunset is devoured by the hungry night sky

The light that is my life slowly flickers
Wounded and left in a dank dark forest to die

The once suffered children look up at me from their graves
the hole in which they were killed by flame
merciless fire like rabid wolves on the tail of a hundred rabbits
the faces are gone
they hold no memory of those that they once identified
they lay there burning in the uncovered grave
unworthy of a funeral

All I see is night
Dark and silent night
The air, heavy with the stench of rotting burning flesh
I look down at the pits in which my people lay
They are dead
I never knew them
yet the memory of them still haunts me decades later

Now I know why the sun has gone
It is because my God has gone
and taken the last bit of beauty with him
All turns dark and I see no more
only feel the evil lurking in the shadows
hovering around me
This evil is not the Reaper prepairing to take me to my doom
I am already in a blazing firey Hell
this evil is that of my captors
the workers of the man who thinks he is God

the one who would take families and babies and elders and children
and rip them apart
burn them in his pits
and never bat an eye

loneliness hangs above me like a demon in the sky
my mind fills with the darkness of night
and my life, becomes lost
and my soul melts away with those children in the fire

even when the suffering ends
my people will leave traces of their pain
of their deaths
of their lives
of their faith

I will remember the time of my own liberation
I will remember the holes that are my eyes
and the lifeless skeleton which is my body
and the emptiness that is my heart

all I see is night
that dark, evil, blood stained night
that night that bacame my life at the time of my capture
Yes, night is all I see
my life which is an eternally silent,
cold,
rancid night
all I see is night

Leon's body was hung on a pike for all of those brutal skull crushers to see.

Leon's son wasn't going to let them go that easily though. So in the middle of the night Leon's son, Oreth Ram, quietly led the army up to the cave that was located at the top of the mountain. There, Oreth and the men saw the real monstrosity that had happened. Oreth looked into the cave and found torture tables of every sort. Whips and spiked sticks were hung on the walls like decoration. Oreth looked down a stairway and saw a woman hanging naked from a chain being slowly dunked head first into a pit of bubbling, boiling water. This was too much for Oreth. Unsling his bow he nocked an arrow and loosed it leaving it buried in the man who was turning the wheel to make the chain lower's jugular. Oreth ran up and helped the woman down. Oreth told her to wait with the rest of his army outside. She thanked him and ran away toward the cave entrance. Slinging his bow over his shoulder unsheathed his two curved swords. Letting out his families ancient battlecry he charged into the rest of the torturers slicing them down easily. Oreth laughed as he heard the screams of the torturers when he sliced out their innards or cracked their heads open. They were finally feeling the pains of their actions. Oreth cut the screams short when he drove a sword through their hearts or twisted a sword in their stomachs. Suddenly a whip caught him across the back and Oreth fell down. Men came from every side and took turns beating him. A bright white light filled the chamber and the sound of thunder echoed off the walls and Leon Ram strode in with his sword at the ready.

Leon saw his son being beaten to pieces. Leon raised his sword and pointed it at the torturers. A beam of fire shot across the chamber at incredible speed and hit the men. Body parts and blood flew everywhere, exploding against the stone walls. Pieces of bone clung to the walls and ceiling, held in place by the warm, sticky blood. Leon rushed over to his son. Oreth was a mess of broken bones and bruises but that was no trouble for Leon. Leon just tapped where Oreth was hurt and the pain and injuries were gone. Leon looked over at the rest of the torturers and suddenly they all burst into a thousand peices. Oreth looked up at his father in wonder. Leon would explain after they got back to the army.

As all the high ranking people in the army gathered close as Oreth told his account of what happened they were amazed at what Leon had done. After Oreth was done Leon told them his account of the story. "After I died I floated in darkness for some time. After what seemed like forever I appeared at what looked like a kings court. Nine gods were sitting in chairs, one for each type of magic: wind, water, fire, earth, spirit, light, dark, chaos, and mind. They told me to recount my life's story. I told them without hesitation. They said I had unfinished business on this world and gave me all their powers. They said they would come for me at an appropriate time." By the end of the story everyone was wide-eyed and staring at him. Leon spoke again and said, "I heard what Oreth was doing to the torturers from outside and so I will call my new kingdom Shattered Screams."

Vrelgoth, a great city. It was to be his new capitol. Abaddonii came from the west with 10,000 men. Leon didn't make any defenses because he thought Abaddonii would be smart enough not to attack an ally. Apparently he wasn't. Vrelgoth was taken before Leon knew it. Abaddonii would pay for this someday.

After much messaging with Wedge Talon, Sir Abaddonii finally gave up the city but Leon didn't think Abaddonii would be able to count on many reinforcements from Leon and Leon's allies.

Many people came down to colonize in this new location. Legacy, Kingdom of Heaven, more Peacekeepers that wanted to be near their fellow kingdom mates, but the most dangerous, Serenity. Serenity was invading this safe haven that Leon had moved to. Leon would make them pay for this.

Leon walked through the milling mass of soldiers. His men parted before him, bowing as he walked past. His men were tough, powerful, smart, and disciplined. The perfect army. 130,000 men strong to wipe out the major Serenity cities in the area. Leon would start with Nexcruor II then move across the bridge to Serdika South and lead the remaining force to Vorpal City to make the final cut in Serenity's production. If Leon's campaign prevailed, it might bring Serenity down on them, but Leon would be ready to protect anyone he felt needed it. None would escape the wrath of the Shattered Screams.

The new day began, full of hope and good fortune, but the skies would soon darken over the heads of Leon and his men. Leon's army, Storm, stopped for a midday meal in a secluded valley near the mountains. Leon, not suspecting an attack, called the sentries in. Not long after, the valley swarmed with ghost soldiers, Leon's own men turned against him, and fire rained from the skies. Leon used his powers that were granted to him as best he could, but there were too many of them. The enemy surrounded them and it became apparent to Leon that they must surrender or be crushed into oblivion. Leon waved the white flag as his men dropped their weapons.

Leon was shoved roughly into the back of a wagon. So this was what the great legacy of Leon Ram would come to? Trapped by Serenity to await his execution? Leon slumped to the floor boards of the wagon. This time their would be no army to save him, no son to rescue him, no gods to judge him. Leon knew his reign was coming to an end. Leon suddenly sat bolt upright. The gods! His powers! Leon grinned. Leon pointed his finger at the wagon door, nothing happened. After a few more tries, Leon lay down on the floorboards in dismay, they must have shielded him. Only thirteen powerful wizards or witches together could shield someone as powerful as Leon.

Leon was trapped in the wagon for days. He had made a small peephole by slamming his fists into the walls. One day Vrelgoth came into sight. His hopes of being freed plummeted. He definetly couldn't expect help from his remaining troops in Vrelgoth once they took the city.

Vrelgoth was taken and the wagon moved on. Leon guessed it was being taken to the river by the way they were traveling. They reached the river after four days of siitting in the back of that acursed wagon. Leon was unloaded, actually thrown out of the wagon was more like it, and tied up. Leon saw the rest of his men lined up on both sides of him. They were pushed on by one into the river. Leon watched helplessly as his men struggled to stay above water but drowned after a few short seconds. Leon looked around for a way to escape. He saw nothing but troops and thirteen strange men sitting cross-legged on the ground. His gaze stopped on the men. There was a strange presence about those men. Leon had felt it before at the valley, at the council of the gods, and many other places. It occured to Leon that at all these places there had been people with magic. So these were the wizards that were shielding him. Sweat poured their faces and they were panting. Leon remembered the time so many years ago when Clamin had collapsed under the strain of handling to much magic. Leon pounded against his shield that held back his power. The wizards visibly weakened. Leon struck at the shield again and again. One of the wizards crumpled bonelessly into a heap. Leon remembered the sight of that well. The shield disappeared and power flowed into Leon's veins. He rode the feeling as he would ride a wild dragon. Its feeling pounded at him from all sides. A feeling like never before came over him. He realized that with this power he could defeat anyone. Leon raised his hands high above his head. A storm of electricity surrounded him. It lived off the power coarsing through his body. Leon hurled all his strength against the people near him. The nine magics roared over the surrounding area, killing all his nearby enemies. Whirlwinds threw men into the air, waves pounded men with bonecrushing strength while fire burned their flesh, earthquakes ripped the earth, and the undead rose up from the ground. Light shone through the clouds and blinded the enemy while energy drained out of them, leaving them dry as a raisin on the ground. Men panicked and killed their own officers and others went mad all around him.

Leon laughed as his powers destroyed his enemies. Suddenly he was all alone and the magic he had been using to kill had stopped. He stood alone in the room he remembered so well. The nine gods stood in front of him. The god of mind stepped forward and spoke, "You have finished your business on Earth. It is time for you to die."
Leon glared at them, "I have not finished my business. If you want me to die, you will have to kill me."
"So be it then."

Leon already knew that the gods would not escape this fight. They may be gods but magic could destroy anything. The gods threw there might against Leon. Leon put up his defensive shield, the spells bounced off it. Leon roared in anger and attacked the gods. The gods grunted in pain as Leon's spells ripped through them. Leon knew no one, not even the gods could stand this for long. The gods blew into pieces one by one until they were all dead. Leon laughed, he was invincible, he couldn't believe that those men had scared him before.

The darkness faded and half of his old army stood, saluting him.

Leon and his army rode back to Jeruvhen. Sir Clamps had 250,000 men preparing an attack on Jeruvhen. Leon knew he couldn't win this one so he ran. Sir Clamps still killed him and took Jeruvhen. Leon was surrounded by the enemy, all his men dead and hundreds of Sir Clamps's men surrounding him.

Leon heard a deafening sound on the horizon. He turned his head and saw the armageddon charging like a bull toward him. Leon was invincible though, he would be immortal. He grabbed his son, Oreth, close and braced for the impact.

Leon felt all his feelings getting ripped out of him just as before. He hardly felt anything, but Oreth was screaming like a madman. Leon wondered whether he did that at the last armageddon.

Then he heard a familiar voice that he was not invincible against.

Bitter blood
Blood so bitter
Drink the blood and crack the bone
Crack the bone and suck the marrow
Bitter the marrow sweet the screams
Singing screams
Shattered Screams...

Oreth had his eyes wide in terror and seemed to be enduring it but Leon couldn't stand it anymore. Leon howled and drew his dagger. Oreth shrank away in fright but Leon would never hurt Oreth. Leon plunged the dagger hilt-deep into his own neck.

He died quickly, so ending the legendary legacy of Leon Ram.
