True, I never listened to any of his music (except Thriller), but he was a icon of his time.  Now, his title has been slandered by all the things he has done.

I've heard reports of his death as well.

Strange, I agree, his music first of all was quite amazing and is perhaps one of the richest singers apart from Madonna, His surgeries probably made him more famous, and he is still making money from everytime a song is used on the radio or in a movie.

His kids still deserve a father, especially when he was so young.
Its quite traumatizing for a kid to grow up without a father to turn to, so weirdo or not, he still has a family that was caring for him..

All those cases of child molestation are lies...

People, look at the case, they reported it MONTHS after it allegedly occurred. Why wait? It was most likely the parents trying to make something out of nothing.

If he wanted to rape children, he could have easily went to Thailand and molest a variety kids in a more intense manner and still stay 100% anonymous.

As for his music, it is legendary, he crossed ethnic and religious lines. He started the whole musicians coming out and speaking about global injustices trend and did ALOT of charity work. He raised millions upon millions for charities all over the world. He also wrote songs specifically for charities such as "we are the world." He also had a strong belief in racial unity and equality which is why he wrote the mega hit "Black or white"

His album thriller was at the most sold album with a record 110-MILLION albums being bought. It stayed in on world top 10 (albums) chart for a record 80 WEEKS. His song "Thriller" is the most recognized song in the world. He was just an amazing and talented person trying to contribute the most he possibly could to the world.

 Micheal Jackson IS the greatest musician both fan base wise, and music selling wise in the HISTORY of the music industry. Bigger then John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix or Elvis.

All this definitely deserves respect.

I doubt anyone will ever reach Micheal 's popularity at it's peek or over all popularity/notoriety ever again, especially in the entertainment industry.  

He really and truly was the biggest world wide Icon in the 20th and 21st century.

Regardless of his character as a person, he remains as one of the great artists of all time - He deserves respect for that, if nothing else.

Most people who at least don't think he contributed to music are just trying to troll...I may not have listened to him much, but I can remember his music when I hear it.

He also still holds the record for most albums sold with his one album.. which I know nothing about becuase I didn't listen to his music but the respect is there, he was a very talented man and definitely changed people with his music I am sure... the one song I do like with him in it, is Hold My Hand - Akon ft. Michael Jackson the song makes me think of my girlfriend.

He didnt mean to molest those children, he thought that they were just Halfling scouts sent to add prep time to his Human colony.

He is inspiration for other people which are singing. He is like MJ #23 inspiration for basketballers, so michael jackson is for singers. No matter how he did look, the only thing matters what he have accomplished in life as a singer...
