Details about the era of Adelbert will be posted here.

We have never received as many suggestions for the game as this era and there have been very few improvements the last few eras. That's why we will make more improvements and the game will be down for a longer period.

If I work my ass off, the game might be up late sunday the 20th. But most likely it will take until next sunday, the 27th before the game starts.


17:25:10 Nov 25th 05 - VU Admin:

It looks like we will be able to start the game on Sunday the 27th, some updates have been made, but there are a lot of work left to do.

 

Here's a list of updates that's already implemented:

You will see what world you kingdom mates are on (kingdom page).

There will be no "move into city" button after attacks.

Merged armies no longer increase prep time.

Gates closed cities now show on the mini-map.

LoS from guard towers is limited.

Anger is less powerful.

The ability for taverns to increase morale has been strengthened.

Mine Blaster is improved.

The Long Range attack option is removed.

Added a spell that cancels utility scrolls.

Some more updates...

You can turn on "tactical army icons" in accounts settings (default on). It will show each army as a kingdom flag with the size and direction it is moving.

Battles won and "battle experience" will now be counted into the ending high scores.

The length of protection will now depend on when you start. Protection will not start to tick down until you have settled a colony. You can exit protection for 50,000? gold.

All races will be able to change tax, army wages and building upkeep!

The game will most likely start to run today (Sunday) around 20:00 CET. Meanwhile, check out the new "help VU" page where you can vote for the game on different top-list sites!

Some new updates...

Humans will have less sci cost for Farming, Mining and Forestry
It will be easier for Halfing adventurers to find higher level artefacts.
Dwarves will be able to go past level 2 in magic.

Not all troops will die in battle. Half of them will get "injured". Injured troops will not be able to fight, but if they rest they will heal and be able to fight again, although some will die.

As usual, we expect a lot of bugs in the beginning... so bear in mind and post them in the bugs and errors forum.

The guide will be updated within time.
