Blockers
05:20:01 Jun 19th 09 - Mr. Aries II:

Ok so something really stupid happened to one of my kdmates, we have a blocker that is set up between a mountain and some trees and its touching [Edit :<both>] against both sides of the 2 terrains, it can build 10k more buildings in it too.
Yet it seems armys can walk right over it even though the gates are closed? Can anyone explain why this is, and/or how do you know if a blocker blocks or not?...

maybe the man that pass trough it already set pass

Hmmm, that might be the case but idk cause i dont know exactly when the blockers gates were shut..
If so.. that bug really needs to be fixed...

that defeats the whole purpose of the game mechanics.. I could set an army to pass over a city from across the map, and just walk into another KDs core? Seems.. Impeccable.

ahh but the best part of that is could you have the army ready to go before the blockers could get there? and would it have enough power to do any damage... Cause i know that if you are walking across a map the other kingdom has time to build up troops which makes a lag time in between when you and they meet...

or if you go in the direction of building a town then what is to say that they cant take the town before you can do anything with it?

so this bug has been around forever and i doubt that it will be removed, even though it is annoying it is not harmful in most cases.

Ya its not that bad unless you get really screwed over somehow..
But it would be much more reasonable to just give the blockers ruler a command thingy to allow an army to pass when he signs on and accepts it or something =/

Argath, the thing is. If the gates are open, you set a path, and THEN he closes it, you can walk over. I think that should be changed, but oh well.
