{OOC: I didn't really want to kill you Septim, but this opportunity is just too perfect... You're own shield to keep the fires from dissipating into the air, and to keep you from escaping, whilst the fire is instantaneous... It was such a beautiful plan... :-)}

*Septim creates an ice shield an inch from his skin in time to block the flames and opens the top of the outer shield, he shapes the shield into an icicle and uses it to fly out the top, he dismisses his shield and lands on the ground covered in very hot water, he uses ice to cool it down and turns to Erunion.

"That did not feel good..."

*Septim readies himself for further combat.

{OOC: Sig, please decide what happened here.}

{OOC: Hmmm, the flames would be up instantaneously, but you could still escape, but I personally think you'd be more badly burnt... :p
Sig! Get over here! Decide what happened!}

[OOC: As long as a part of my body is in contact with the earth I can manipulate it to my will with but a thought. Though a hand motion always looks cool, it is not really necessary.]

*While dodging a few punches of Xiax and taking some direct hits, Gilth was suffering and looking for a way out. But it wasn't coming. He made a blind jump ... and smacked against a wall. In the fraction of a second Gilth was actually moving, he reached for 1 of his daggers with his right hand. Xiax just kept punching, and Gilth saw no other option then taking the dagger with both hands and trusting himself forward, using a gust to make a projectile of himself. The distance between Gilth and Xiax was very small though and he didn't gain much speed. If he could just create a small space between him and Xiax...*

Patton chuckles and unleashes his spell. He jumps into the air and hovers for a brief moment, channeling a blinding light through his blade. Suddenly a very large beam streaks from it and touches the ground, causing a nova-like explosion in the area of Verll and his pet rock. The whole area turns into ground zero, all plant life is eliminated, flying rocks are turned into dirt and Verll would withstand the force of a miniature nuclear explosion.

(Spell: Mega Flare. (Tribute to Bahamut (Platinum Dragon) and light of course)

*Since going downwards isn't an issue for Xiax, he slams down into Gilths back and drags him down.*

[OOC: when I say twists around the blade, I mean my body really twists around it, except for an opening for the blade to go through there really isn't much room for you to follow it.]

Fountain Arena Update:

Septim: As the fire that Erunion had sent under you flies toward you under your feet you scream in pain but are able to get out of the death box you had created. As you fly down you realize just how much your legs are burnt. Because of this you have some ice come out and go over your legs so as not to feel to much. Pain, but your speed has been lowered considerably.

Erunion: Your attack doesn't work quite the way you thought it would be you still cause severe burnings.

Xiax: You slam downwards completely missing Gilth you then continue downwards and slam into the ground and breaking HALF THE BONES IN YOUR BODY . (I mean really what did you expect? I can prove with the Law of Momentum that you should have disinegrated right there. You would weigh like 15,000 Pounds and you would be falling from a height. Consider yourself lucky)

Gilth: You quickly escape Xiax without any problems.

Patton: The mini-explosion goes off without a hitch. Except for the fact that you kinda wasted a lot of your energy on a rock and the fact that Verll now has a perfect chance to hit you since your tired.

Verll: Verll your rock plan doesn't work, in fact it fails. The good knews is that other then being slammed into a fountain nothing much happened.

[OOC: wow, saved by the bell]

*Gilth's move was succesfull and he landed a nice distance from Xiax, on top of a fountain to prevent Xiax from bursting out of the ground again. Now, Gilth began to feel the pain. The adrenalin rush started to fade and he could feel the bruises on his arms, where he blocked a few of the punches. The right side of his torso was hurting as well, but Gilth decided not to look at it. If he survived, there would surely be a docter of some sort to atleast heal a few of his injuries.
Gilth took a deep breath. The taste of fresh air in his mouth refreshed his courage. He would prove to the world that Air Elementals are a force not to be forgotten. He put away his dagger and took a good look of the area.*

[OOC: Gilth isn't really skilled at fysics and doesn't realise Xiax is wounded. an air strike on a rock isn't really the most efficient way to handle things either.]

[OOC: Xiax...you were saying we godmod...well, imo, half the things on this thread are really unstoppable without doing some godmodding back! undodgeable rocks...multi-effect fire arrows....flying around using wind.....crazy light attacks that incenerate everything.....ice shields that are crazy effective....super-fast punches that break bones....yea..muahahaha! I'm just being evil and criticizing you guys! But, in my defense, Xiax said it first in our arena ;)]

[OOC: AtreidesI was saying how you guys control another person's character which is what god-modding really is. Sigheart, I'm less than 1 metre off the ground what kind of physics are you learning? With my body toughened and the fact I could probably reverse the effect of me spell before I'm completely on the ground means I shouldn't be that injured at all. Gilth, think of me as like Mr. Fantastic, except I cannot stretch my body, so I would twist around your knife and onto your back, from there I would increase my weight and slam you into the ground with that weight.]

Easily Deflecting the Icicles, Erunion prepared to finish off Septim. Then the ground dropped from beneath his feet, as it started to close on top of him, Erunion Burnt his way through the earth, then exploded up out of the ground 6 metres farther back than he was. Seeing Septim, Erunion put his hands together, and a stream of fire, so hot that it could tear through the antarctic in seconds, shot out of his hands, towards Septim.

{Casting Bar of Fire. Extremely powerful fire attack, almost undoubtedly Lethal}.

{OOC: Judging by the spells you've cast a lot recently, I should have a very large upper hand in strength. First you put up giant walls of ice, then you freeze the ground. You then put up more walls of ice, and freeze the ground. I being worse in melee, am stronger than you to start with.... MUAHAHAAHHAA. You get the picture... :P}

{OOC: Like your ice thing, the arrows are a pre-fight enchantment. All I did was make them a bit hotter to pass through your shield. Now I'm starting to use more powerful spells in an attempt to deal with you and end this fight... Also, creating an avalanche of ice blocks, a wall of solid ice, and all those other things are more tiring than tossing a few fireballs... :P Die you rusted scrap of metal!}

Seeing Septim rush towards him, Erunion jumped back, the sword glancing one of his boots. It froze instantly. On the ground, Erunion threw a very large fireball at Septim, and having thrown that quickly thawed his boot.

Erunion side-steps the frozen flame Then creates an activatable wedge of fire...

{You won't know it's there, but when you come close you will hit a wall of partly solidified flames, shaped like a wedge, so you, and any spells you cast, will slide down to either side of it...}

Xiax: Can you guys make these things a little bit more clearer, besides you jumped on Gilth's back while flying at the time it seemed more like he was in the air.

Patton: He did get hit by the explosion but I had to intervene because a mini-nuclear explosion? I think I pointed out that if you tried to pull an automic bomb stunt then I would immediatly intervene. Also since when has Light been able to pull of a mini atomic Bomb? Mega Flare is usually put down as an implosion.

[OOC: me and gilth was  on the ground, he tried to jump away, I summoned a wall behind him so he didn't get anywhere, kept on attacking him. Then he used the rock as a spring board to lunge at me. I don't see how in all of that time where and how he could have gotten far off the ground.]

*Septim freezes the fireball and moans.

"God dang...about time he left me alone..."

*Septim pulls a bag from his pack, he places some cream onto his burns and they all suddenly heal within minutes, Septim then drinks from a small blue vial and is energized.

[[I used some medical supplies in my pack, they take time to use, which is why I cannot use them in the thick of combat...]]

*Septim rises and prepares for combat.

Verll watches Mr. Gilth's batle with Xiax, and thinks for a moment. He then runs over to him and asks him "Should we masters of Wind ally against this earth man?"

Patton frowns and stretches out his hand, firing a ray of focused sunlight straight at Septim.

"Time to finish what I started...."

(Ice will weaken it, but not stop it (melting, duh. ;-) ) otherwise it'll be burning a nice hole in him)

*Septim, with fast reflexes born from many campaigns, mixes the ice with dirt and raises it in the path of the light. The light cannot go through the dirt and Septim throws three icicles at Patton.

[[OOC: Yeah, I move faster than the speed of light...I got skillz...]]

[[OOC: Dang...well then...]]

*Septim sees Patton move his arms in preparation for making a beam of light and uses his skill in ice to create muddy ice, the ice blocks the beam of light.

[[OOC: You know what? FINE!]]

*Septim wishes he could use earth powers.

"Arrgghhh!", Septim yells as he mixes the dirt with ice, Septim then lifts it above him and melts the ice, the earth falls on top of him, yet Septim can still breath due to a small air tunnel he creates that leads several miles away. Septim then creates a massive block of ice above him and drops it on Patton.

[[OOC: Due to the ice mixing with the earth, I was able to control it. I terraformed a five foot thick mud cover over me, light cannot penetrate it!]]

[[OOC: I am freakin' awsome! That's how! And anyways, you guys can just kill me off, I now know that ice wasn't a good choice for an element]]

(Fine, no speed of light)

Patton swings his sword and shoots another blade of light to start cutting through the ice, as it weakens it Patton swings his sword and shatters the rest. Still, some ice shards leave some cuts and some large bruises on his exposed skin.

Patton then moves from his position and casts a spell, bending the light around him and causing it not to reflect off him (Invisibility). He then works on putting bits of cloth in his armor joints to muffle (but not get rid of) the sound.
