| 14:06:44 Jan 18th 09 - Mr. Trainin Exercise: im a newb bt i guess in this thread its the takin part that counts nt winnin so here is my list! as the list of era winners clearly is biased towards RAMBO......i think that ame is the answer 2 the greatest old player. i neva played with or against him i dnt even kno if he was real n i dnt kno his story bt i kno a few simple things........there ppl who hav been mentioned in this great player list that hav played durin rambo's winning spree n clearly if they wer as good at the time then mayb they wudv stoped it! now i hav 2 players who r i think the best iv com accross. i hav played with and against quiet a few of the ppl on sloths list n i think these 2 players r amongst the best in general bt they r the 2 best iv personally experienced playin with and against. 1- FIRE LORD NOVA THE INCINERATOR. i played with and against him durin his time in trio............many may disagree with me includin trio players but there was only 1 reason trio had the success they had - that is to own mantrax 3 or 4 times in a row then move on to fantasia and succeed using the players who were three eras prior to trio classified *beep*s but while with trio became powerfull enough to stand up against the best of fantasia 2 eras in a row - where many other kds failed to break the fantasia mantrax barrier usuin their own core players n not recruitin from fantasia. anywho as i was sayin trio succeeded nt cos of hanky's great skills as leader but simply cos nova pulled all the stops in every task trio took on........he trained the *beep*s n fought n was involved in all the tactics n leadership jst like hanky........and the only time trio EVER lost a war while i knew them was the era after nova retired. trio were beat by sheolic n lgc. nova was trully the best player iv played with hands down. n he did all without stooping low n flamin or gettin involved in forum arguments he did all his tlkin on the map! the 2nd player is SAGE TRYNTON .......i only played against him once and in the same alliance as him once..........but of all the enemies iv faced he was by far the 1 that impressed me the most........1 time he played for preds n they owned the whole of mantrax, as they attacked my part of the map my kd defeated all they threw at us....to cut a long story short i'l jst say we lost to them simply cos they had sage on their side n if he wasnt their then im sure it wudv been a different story. im thinkin all u stuck up vets r thinkin " spoken like a true *beep*" but hey in my short time on vu these 2 r the 2 players i thought were the best if u vets were as gd as them mayb i wudv noticed :P!

| 15:10:46 Jan 18th 09 - Mr. Overcome: yeah, damn Fire Nova was extreme. when he first started in Mantrax, we (FA) totally underestimated him. Evans and 2 other guys was going to take him out at first, but he locked up and we could not take him down. suddently the whole KD was fighting him and he actually took us down by himself. (we were fighting 2 other KD's to, but Nova took down 80% of us). i have also had the plesure of fighting him in TRIO 2 times after that, and he was trumendes. and i also were in Sheolic Empire when we took down TRIO with Legacy, and TRIO was not much without him. he deffently belonge up with the all time greatest players.

| 19:23:34 Jan 18th 09 - Mr. Hanky Other Multi: @ overcome that era was funny lol i didnt think he'd actually pull it off... nova truly was an awsome player just kept himself to himself thats why not many know of him... i learnt a fair bit from him was playing along side him from the era he started pretty much... he fell inactive in his last three era's of playing due to more hours at work and i fell inacitve in his last two and slowly trio just went downhill i knew we wouldnt last much longer with such little activity... and the diplomacy also killed us in our last era on fantasia... some of my favourite best players would be maybe ford, sloth, nova, penguin, ali, other people id have to work along side them to judge but theirs many well known great players :) | |||||

(witch is keeping up to date with all the new and old tricks to get the advantages on the battlefield) must have a nice a nice way with words (know when to speak and how to do it) must know diplomatics and how to use it. must have a whole lot of time for VU:P must have respect for everyone, and not flame when its not appropriet. must be able to do the dirty works witch no one else wants (like cleaning the aera for scouts:P) must know how much you can load other people with (know how much responsebillity you can lay on a less active guy) this was the once i could come up with in a few minutes. i know i have other cretiria then other people here, but this are the once i find importent, all though i know there are some i forgat:P | |||||

| 20:00:11 Jan 20th 09 - Mr. Overcome: well in all the KD's i have been in, this has been a problem. people just dont care to kill the scouts, even if you tell them to:P and when u have enemy KD's constantly sending scouts in your core. but its just not about scouts, its about taking the small cities instead of going just for the bigger once, taking out the small armies even if you have to move a step back and so on. the best player of VU should be able to do this, like all good players should. but i bet only half the players that atleast i consider "good" in VU is doing just this^^ its about putting a effort into it, and throw away all selfish acts | |||||
