KoA welcomes back Ryan n DARK

tis been a while since zeta banned his account for whatever reason(supposedly for being on a work computer according to Ryan b himself).

the former leader of Dark has returned with some men to combat the evil forces of KoA and to kick our ass like he did rebirth's singlehandedly(his words not ours).

we see him neither as sir prised or Ser ryan the laughing storm(which he said he was going to come back as) as apparently he wants to bide his time to war us and so he can crush us utterly.

Anyway welcome back Ryan Bellerose, a meaker version on the forum I am sure(since you dont want anyone to know who you are)...and we look forward for your coming to "kill us".

I for one are happy to announce I am Palpatine(from warbook) and minipalp/duran dark elf here. No one of particular note in this game and enjoying learning, but netherless i still manage to bring DARK and ryan back just to face me.

Probably nothing. In the other game he played he was just a noob that was loud on the boards. I wouldnt be surpriced if its the same here.

He will however start posting soon that he forgot more about this game than anyone else knows. Thats hes style and why ppl dont like him.

also he did threaten ppl that if they joined up with the original poster of this thread they would be killed by him. At least thats what i was told lol.

Personally i think he is getting way to much credit for getting hes own post allready. Ppl should just forget that he exist and play their own game instead. I for sure dont plan on letting old grudges interfer with anything.

These forums are funny, people bring up other games as if it mattered what happened in other games. But Alterax what was this "other game" and why do you think these people came back just to fight you? Did you defeat him in the other game or what? whats the story? Nurse Buttswiggle says she killed this guy last era so maybe he never left at all?

Rebirth I asked around, I hear you don't like the guy because he took over leadership of Dark when Dark destroyed your alliance for breaking your nap with them. You personally killed a Dark army despite a nap or map or something and then refused to compensate Dark at all? I was brand new at the time but I remember the flame war on the boards I think it was 2 or 3 eras ago, I didnt realise that Ryan was that guy, because I remember Ademo from Bunnies posting about it and arguing with you. I also remember reading that 3 Dark players razed your entire Home core by themselves after warning you to pay Dark for the loss of one small army and you said no. LMAO. Who were those 3 players and where are they now?

It should be a good era but Zeta really needs to get this money thing squared away because I only have 3 citys now and im not making hardly any gooooold

the reason why i think this chap came back to fight me was simple it was his words themselves in various skype chats with members of my alliance.The guywent on and on and on and on and on and on and on about it.

yes it is indeed drama, i am just playing the game and put grudges from other games aside...but this chap boasted that he was coming back, that anyone who would join with me would be killed, and that i couldnt hide from him. thus i welcomed him back to show i am not hiding and to do his best/worst.

he is the one gloating how good he is, that any other veteran in vu is a noob, that he had HoH armies very era and could kill anyone blah blah blah but come oop he chose not to make the ign he had declared he would make and chose to lay low saying its who wins at the end that counts.

he has thrown down the gauntlet, i am merely saying i am welcome it.

He also did state he didnt play last era as he was banned by zeta from playing from work. so who knows..

FYI Lith it's really easy to burn someone's core when you have them flanked and can get right into it without much resistance.

Ex: RVL could have killed FATE at any time last era (or the other way) cuz their core was totally undefended woulda been the same basic concept except FATE and RVL are betterer then that ^_^

and i guess you have heard Ryans side of the story, Lith;)

Ryan, was making threats and set cours for our core. then he stood on my blocker, and Mayhem had a huge merge, that with full prepp probably would have taken us. i sendt him a message to back of, and he didnt message me back for 5 ticks (even though he was online, cause he had responded to Thomas).

with Mayhem's merge 4 ticks away, we didnt risk Ryan KD hopping so Mayhem got his prep time. at this time i realize that it was a bit paranoid, but i got 4 messages from Rebirth players warning me about the same thing during this time, cause he showed so much hatret to Rebirth, and he had no busness in our core (witch if he got through would have led to only allies)

so i killed it and sendt a message right away to the leader of Dark. she said that it was a hasty decision, but didnt say anything about compansation. the days went by, and suddently there was a change in leadership, and Mon said she was just to sick and tired of the game and i qoute "dissapointed in my members"

then Ryan suddently came up and demanded compansation, he gave us first 12 hours or so, then in the same hour he switched to 5 or so. then two hours later he attacked us.

and then he bragged like crazy in the forum how he and a few other members brought down Rebirth. witch was ridiculus cause i dont think they killed more then 200 k troops xD

we gave up at that point, cause we had no chance on fighting Mayhem without our income cities. and you may ask why it was undefended? well basicly cause we were surrounded by allies. we had no enemys to the west and Dark covered all our blockers on the south side. we didnt want to waste troops protecting a aera without enemys in the west when we fought a KD with over 10 more members in the east.

Thats weird I read that war thread from both sides because I had cities nearby and saw nothing about Ryan making threats, what I saw was quite different. but admittedly I was a noob at the time.

You attacked a tagged ally and destroyed his army, Dark then gave you a chance to compensate him rather than just ending the Nap or was it a map? you did not and then he waited in the thread its said about a week and then Dark announced they were disolving the Nap due to your breach.And then attacked your core with 2-3 other players. (is that correct?) I was sitting in that corner of the world and saw them literally raze your entire core even as a bigger alliance attacked my cities! You guys had some people who would run around behind and retake the cities but it was obvious that they were razed because they disapeared soon after.

I remember something about Fate and Pirate lew threatening Dark but they ignored them, I am not sure of Fate threatening them was true but someone I trust told me that Lewatha had threatened to join in on your side despite being napped with both of you and she posted in that thread as well. I will admit that politics in this game confuse me a LOT because I thought that you guys were all allies..

I am in an alliance with some former Dark people and a rebirth player as well and its strange that their story is quite different from yours. One other thing I heard is that rebirth let some people change alliances and attack Dark and take some cities and then Rebirth protected those guys and even traded cities with them after they attacked allies, I don't think you guys would do such an openly wrong thing but lots of people said you did.

Maybe when Ryan Posts we can hear his side. but either way you just admitted you broke a nap and didnt compensate at all, so in my opinion that means anything that happened after that would be your own fault.

lol, i wish i had time to rip up the old thread and make quotes for you, cause you have got your scrap book wrong. but if you want to find out the truth. you can first check the old thread. then if you can get a hold of the monarch, she can tell you the story from a nautral point.

but to correct you just a bit: not FATE, but Lew made the treath against Ryan, cause they saw what was going on. but they didnt have enough power to do anything about it.

one thing i have learned from that whole incident, is to never bother with trying to solve the whole thing in the public forum. cause we never landed, and we never agree, so whats the point?

i was in a big argument last era aswell, and it ended just like this ended. with people taking sides, and no one agreeing. and thats what happends in here, no one is trying to meet up half the way. i honestly tried that in the last discussion i had with MAD, but only to see irrasjonell and angry comments hammering back.

therefor im just sick of this arguments, and will do my very best to stay out of them from now on

heh, it is really a bunch of nonsense. This thread is bait for Ryan to post and show his IGN so KOA know who is "out to get them". Palpy is a great manipulator and a lot of players I know either like him or don't. It is the same with big personalities here.

And yeah Overcome nothing gets settled on public forums when two kingdoms are at odds with one another. What Ryan says about rebirth really has no bearing on what happened. I'd guess his main point was more along the lines of not trusting an alliance that Palp was in.

And yeah the bit I didn't like about rebirth was the Elemental alliance taking my cities and rebirth NAPing them. But that is water under the bridge. I did jsut get killed by Sir Thommas a day a go but no deception was involved. nice clean gang up. Rebirth took one of my cities and DE the other. no hard feelings.

not really manipulating because it is pretty obvious...but anyhow i had a guy(ryan) saying he is coming back to vu JUST to war me and has talked about it for about 2 weeks, telling everyone not to join with me, he is going to crush me, how great a player he was etc. he also stated he wasnt going to hide, but has since changed his mind on that. ok.

i am not in the least chasing ryan, i am saying exactly who I AM. i actually dont mind some in CRAZY, their antics are refreshing on the board and i was Napped with them last era. some of my guys get quite excitable but we generally have this view, being our first era as an alliance, of letting war come to us and not the other way around.

Thus Ryan can farm up or fight as he wishes, he is the one who has threatened me. indeed i WONT fight him unless he comes to me and knocks on my door. but i did want him to know who i am, as otherswise he is likely to accuse me of cowardice etc etc.

Good luck all with the game and yes it was intended to be a short simple thread. they do get a life of their own.

If someone is bragging somewhere else talk to them there. I have seen no "Ryan" bragging in VU forums except some old old threads where he was harrassing someone now banned from the forums. So I wont drag their name up here when they cant respond.

Bringing up Ryan and the past is just useless...as much as I hated those times, people need to grow up and mature :) Learning from those past arguments, flames, and trollings is a great way to show it ^^
