Family History
Mr. Tokugawa Ieyasu
Lived in Era 24, got 1 heir(s) (Tokugawa Hayasi) and was a member of Shogunate
Tokugawa Ieyasu was born a samurai warrior under his father, Tokugawa Imari in the city of Osaka. The city was a warrior city, full of only the elite fighters and the most cunning stratigists around. Their lifestyle revolved around war, especially that of Ieyasu's as his father was a taishou (general) in the royal army.
The leader of the village, whome everyone reffered to as Dimyo, was Imagawa Dimyo. He ruled the village with an iron fist, and a loyal vassal of the great kingdom called Shogunate. Ieyasu was in constant compitition with his son. The Imagawa family was to rule, and so Imagawa Dimyo's son recieved the top training possible. Tokugawa, being the son of a general and being expected to be a good general as his father was, was put in the same school as Imigawa Dimyo's son, though he didnt recieve nearly as much special attention.
Ieyasu Tokugawa was generally a better warrior than Imigawa, and was noticed for his matural skills with weapons and cinning wit in the feild of battle.
Eventually Imigawa Dimyo was assasinated by an unknown perpetrator, and the son of Imigawa Dimyo blamed the Tokugawa family. Imigawa's son then fought a duel with Ieyasu, and after a long fight, the Imigawa family perished. The city was in uproar, and the Tokugawa family set out to capture the assasin.
Ieyasu and his father found the assasin, and Ieyasu's father fought him, but fell in battle. Ieyasu then finished the job, and brought the head of the dead assasin to the village. He was then proclaimed Dimyo.
As his first mission, Ieyasu sent out settlers and colonized the valley known as the Shogunate valley. The Shogunate was an increadibly strong kingdom, but was unfortunately not the strongest, so Ieyasu determined to make it stronger until it reigned over all of Zetemania. His colonies would help expand his personal land so he could build enough armies to conquer the world.
Things seemed quiet for a while, and Ieyasu had built an esteemed army of the elite samurai, all top class knights. They were the few, but they were the elite.
Eventually armies belonging to Kingdom of Heaven started marching through his territory without permission. He marched his army of knights and easily crushed every army that marched through. Eventually a vassal came to him, and gave him a message from the king of Kingdom of heaven himself, Trasonas Majere. "All we wanted was to peacefully march through your territory, as we are at war with Elven Kingdom, and they are north of you. Should you unreasonably attack another of our armies again, we shall burn you to the ground. Should you seal your valley with walls or forts, we shall destroy them, and then you."
Ieyasu was insulted. Soon after this he found out his kingdom carried a Non Agression Pact with Kingdom of Heaven. Adding insult to his injured honour, he personally went to the great Shogun, Ninja. Ieyasu stated why the kingdom should crush the Kingdom of Heaven, but because they were the second strongest in all the land, Ninja Shogun declined any war efforts, but granted Ieyasu permission to launch a personal war, unaffiliated with the kingdom, on Kingdom of Heaven, and depending on how he proved himself, the great Shogunate would either stand by and watch his destruction, or join in the great victory Ieyasu had won for the kingdom.
Ieyasu immediuatly marched his armies to the armies of Kingdom of Heaven marching in his territory, and crushed them both. One of which was rumoured to be one of the strongest armies in all the world. Ieyasu lost very few fighting that army. Either his men were trained exceeedingly well, the opposition was trained exceedingly poor, or both. Ieyasu swiftly took the city Dragon, which belonged to Kingdom of Heaven. Outraged, Trasonas Majere, the king of Kingdom of heaven, sent another envoy declaring war on Tokugawa Ieyasu and his cities, but not on the Shogunate. Ieyasu beheaded the messanger and sent his head back with a message of his own.
Tokugawa then marched his armies south, winning many battles against Kingdom of heaven, and losing none. His armys moral skyrocketed. Then Trasonan Majere sent an army of 3k men to Fort Ryutachi, guarded by a mere 300. They atempted once to lay seige on the fort, and failed. The second time the tried, they succeeded, and cut off all supplies. Soon after they launched an invasion into the city, full of hungry warriors. What they didnt know was that the warriors were more hungry for blood than they were for food, and a mere 72 men fought and defeated the remaining 3000 men.
This victory echoed through the lands of Shogunate and Kingdom of Heaven, and proved that they could not win this war. Tokugawa took city after city belonging to them. He left them unguarded, and lured Kingdom of Heaven armies into many conquered cities, destroying the enemy armies with ease. He only lost one battle that he chose to fight, one out of the uncountable number of victories. Trasonas Majere eventually led an army and recaptured some cities that were devoid of troops, but many of the recaptured cities were retaken by Tokugawa and his army. Unfortunately he did not have enough man power to take Trasonas Majere's capital city, so the war came to a standstill untill he could train more soldiers.
Trasonas Majere and his men were honourable fighters, but were not quite trained with the same efficiency that Tokugawas men were trained with. Though Tokugawa and his men were born and raised warriors.
Tokugawa then sent off one of his sons to travel to other regions, and create a colony.
Mr. Tokugawa Hayasi
Lived in Era 25 and got 1 heir(s) (Tokugawa Hitohiri).
Tokugawa Hayasi was sent by his father to search for new lands to colonize at the age of 17, 1 year after he had finished schooling.
During that year he had fought many battles against Trasoas Majere and his vassals, and proved himself on many occasions. Due to his valor and leadership skills, his father, Tokugawa Ieyasu sent him to explore and colonize. Soon after he left the lands of Zetamania, the Armageddon happened, and he would never again hear from his father.
It was now up to him to carry on the Bushi way.
He started out well, and fough many victorious battles against BoW, but soon Legacy came and destroyed him, it was now up to his brother in Zetamania to uphold Bushido.
