I like the fact that the most fearsome rulers' list reflect mostly reflects the most powerful rulers' list this far into the era. Farmers have not been to prevalent apparently.

While this is all very nice and true Mr. Vet sir, the whole point of this was not that our elf lost his magic and now we want to quit. That was simply timing. This map in and of itself it shiet. Its too open and traveling places takes to long with how little people we have playing it, so that by the time your army arrives it is already outdated by at least a couple days. All I have seen so far is one OOP war followed by every kingdom just getting their armies bounced around because no one is strong enough to straight conquest someone else, regardless of KD %. If you feel otherwise please feel free to share your opinion.

My opinion is this: someone caste Arma, even if half the map votes no and we play out the 10 days. I would wager that in the next 10 days nothing substantial happens. End of story

You wanted someone to cast arma. You had someone who could have cast arma. He attacked and can't cast arma anymore. You had a chance to end it and blew it by attacking us instead.

Is the state of affairs so bad on mant that nobody has heard of forwards arms?

Actually Bran point was that we could have then lost the ability. Not that losing the ability in and of itself was the turning point. Its the geography of the map.

Ok yes this is actually factual; however, the timing was just bad and we were unaware of the fact that he hadn't thought to stock his home arms with some extra mu or we would have gone that route. People live and learn as they play more era's, you know? Doesn't change the fact though that the map was made by someone who was clearly open minded and trying to do something new, but not thinking about the fact that it not being completely full would impact things.

People have forward arms, the problem is that the map is just to open. This era is really going to slowly drag on..

The 50k catas (or 30k after the first attack) aren't spam. All the knights/MUs/archers were the spam.

That's 50k Catas. Well, for Human, Knights are the best option but the era drags long that's why I trained Catas instead of Knights. Well, I just need to train again.
