Now that the armies they have in Jesters core are weak compared to our armies...

Well, now we shall see did we wait too long, or should we have waited a bit more?
Do you guys have people back in core farming for large armies (Aloy or WarofDoom that we did not see in battles yet) or if not, you're gonna get run over by our armies pretty easily. Only time will tell.

Hey don't blame it on me, it was Aisha's idea to wait it out till you guys fight so we attack at the best time for us. And the bridge city you can thank to Minamoto for spending 2-3 rl days trying to cross over, that pissed us off so we did the same. And of course thanx to soccer for building a city so close to river even thought he clearly knew about the issue, but like he said before Jesters are just way too strong so they don't care. I did not think you guys would fall so quickly either.

I'm not complaining, bud. I've never and will never river jump, but I do wall jump, to me it's more a tactic than a bug, I just don't choose to river via merging as it takes too much effort, attacking a city across a river is easy, just don't find to many nubs like that.

We made a lot of mistakes this era, but if I didn't make mistakes I wouldn't have my kids so I'm not worried bout it. Let's do it again next era and I promise this time to wear a condom.

At the start of the era Aisha said she will kick out everyone who does river jumping, she wrote that rule while back and we even mentioned that on forums long time ago, even when Soccer was discussion about it on the forums. It was only after few of our guys freaked over about Soccer and Minamoto moving scouts to our core and then sending them on the other side of the river, then moving larger armies in attempt to cross over, that is when Aisha said *uck it, we're gonna do it as well considering the enemy is doing the same. It would mean giving ourselves an unfair disadvantage. After I jumped down I put a scout to try to merge into a scout over the river but the game said "its not possible to merge over river" and we did not know that. I am sure Soccer and Minamoto did not know that either, if we had known we would ignore their attempts of moving to our core, we did not know so we had to send troops to our core to counter their attempts.

Now you say its possible to river merge, so that gives me another worry, so you say its possible just takes a bit more effort? But the game clearly said "its not possible to merge over river" ? I noticed only attacking a city is possible, thats why we have a kingdom rule never to build close to river. Hell Aisha even made an order to Scimitar to not increase city Trolling cause there's a chance you guys could attack from the other side of the river if that city would grow... We really do put a lot of effort into trying to prevent this bug from happening. And truth be told if you guys did not try it first, we would not do that.

Regarding next era, it all depends on what map we get, if its shatteredwords then Aisha will not play, and we stick closely together as a group, so if she does not play then we take era off as a kingdom.

I think I will change my name to Fail next era. I can't do an era without a monster fail in my gameplay.

So guys in the kingdom said this Penguin guy in Jesters, when active is among better guys in the game so I was keeping an eye on him. He did not do much, probably inactive so I tried to finish him with magic. He was almost dead so I noticed steal science is pretty high. I went for it and stole 3 military sciences. And I was like Yo Yo I am so bada$$, k-k-keep it real, yeah!

And then Aisha is like 'you have magic 9 right'? And I am like 'no'

And then I realised that I messed up and I pulled out a big fail sign.

So, The Collective can't arma this era. Why? Cause I am a fail.

Lady Elisa, lessons learned. I did the same thing as Halfer but with Adventurers finding science. Login, yes!! My venturers found 2 sciences overnight...feeling good, then realise I screwed up. Threw my sciences off bad..damn, I'll set path and park that army, login few ticks later, omg, they found another science...no, no,no, no,NO...stop looking dammit!! :D At least your mages didn't steal another science when you were off.

Never steal science or send out adventurers with high exp. unless your done with your starting sci strat.

idea...New combat spell: give someone a science they don't need to screw them up. lol

To be honest I thought era would be over by now. The situation on the map suggested we were gonna die quickly.

Especially when we were stopped in the south. Mostly cause of Mental Alchemist army, good job dude. But Scimitar seems to be able to beat him for now, thumbs up Sci :thumbsup:

Up north it seems MaD allowed Jesters to resettle (possible CF) so our guy Pegasus if fighting both kingdoms there.

And in the east MaD is sending more and more armies that we seem to be able to cripple (Aisha, Leila and I).

This could go any way, but due to numbers MaD and Pariahs are 80% favor to win the era.

But alas, I do know the feeling of..
something perhaps.. that we feel in a war..
It is a feeling of being able to achieve victory but not being able to catch it.
And surely, it is the closeness of that victory that makes it feel so far away.

Can I tell you of the first era where the kingdom i was in won. And I mean won by killing 90% of all other players? Ok thanks.
Well for the last 2 weeks of that era, I swear to you there were only about 10 posts in the Kingdom forum. Why is this important?
Because we as a team had gotten to the point where words were no longer neccessary.
I knew my brothers and sister playing style, courage and I knew without a doubt that any one of them would sacrifice their whole main army and every one of their cities for me. And I the same.

I began to notice that in a way now, even my enemies are like those brothers and that sister. I have only to look at where your armies are going and what you are doing to know that you do not have a solid plan. Please no disrespect, but even a bad plan is far better than no plan.
For Collective to win, there will have to be sacrifices, but it can be done.
Never lose hope until teamwork has been completely exhausted.

For a man will run away rather than die when he stands alone, but a man will gladly die for his brother if he stands with me.

As a new player I would like to ask why do you never post on these things?
Is there a reason why people don't communicate, and express welcome to new players on forums, so we can discuss things and get a feeling this game is less dead than it is. We as a kingdom encourage chatting on forums, and even giving out plans or information on forums, if that would help the game, to get people to start talking. We're on Mantrax now, and for some reason the thread for that world was never created and we're not making it, most likely there will never be a thread for that world. Why is that? Some would say people stopped giving a heck about the game? Why do you still all play it? I do not understand.

As for having no plan, I must say I do not understand why you would say that as well? What part of era did we show as to not having a plan of what we're doing? You're saying there are no posts on those forums for when you won, its because you all work well together. But this group of people in this kingdom are mostly new players with few vets, and we are learning about the game. Obviously we would make mistakes, but to say we have no plan is just plain disrespectful. Considering leaders are writing walls of text on our forums forming plans and making decisions that are keeping us alive so far.

It means that 10 of us have to fight 18 of you, I do not see how you do not see that we are heavily outnumbered, and even if our strong armies are on top of HoH, which I was told does not mean much, and people don't really look at HoT much. It just means when one of our top armies hits one of the enemy armies, we have to keep in mind that four or five more will come. That is what means to be outnumbered.

Regarding having no plans, you must mean the north. That is again because we just do not have enough people. We had to put Pegasus up north against all you guys, just now we are sending few more to help him, and your army that got to our core was able to cause some damage only because we did not have anyone to go that way, we have to cover way too many places. What did you actually do, take 2-3 cities, when in reality you had over a day to run around our core, you only did very little damage, why? Because of the locusts and our troops rushing in to defend. That is not teamwork?

Why did we manage to stop Mental Alchemist that had 60k Archmages when our armies were not that strong? Because as soon as we hit one of their armies we get mages to do army of the dead, almost after every hit. That is not teamwork? That is not having plans?

You guys are trying to move from different areas, one army going above the mountain, the other on the south passage, and we sent one person to defend up north, the other one down south, while third army covers back in case some of them pass, like one army did till Leila managed to smack it. That is not teamwork, that is having no plans this era?

To explain: Reason why I say HoH armies mean nothing is because at this moment Mental Alchemist might have most powerful army on the map, and he's not on HoH at all...

The forums been this way for a long time, some of us have tried posting here for a while without receiving alot of replies so for us older members its hard for us to get back into using it regularly like we did when the game was still fresh

as for kd sizes, the imbalance of members wasnt the case when jesters were alive, our kd earned this position by winning our wars and being aggressive

Well let me sum the era for you quickly
Kingdoms and members:
Collective - 10 members
Jesters - 16 members
MaD - 10 members
Pariahs - 2 members

That was the start.
So from there, wars started and diplomatic relations started.
We as a kingdom have a policy to fight all, no alliances.

So Collective wars Jesters 10 vs 16
While MaD NAPs 2 member kingdom because they don't want to kill such a small kingdom. Then MaD becomes 13 members and Pariahs become 5 members.

Then in middle of Collective Vs Jesters war you jump in to attack.
Jesters ask us for CF, we refuse. We retreat for a bit to regroup, and we hoped for a war that would last longer, that would give more trouble to Mad And Par but they won way too fast.

Then we moved in with much stronger armies, and we would destroy all your south armies if Mental Alchemist did not have such a large AMs army. That caused us to have to move back slightly, but still we have strong armies to bounce his army, so we're not giving up. So to correct you, you reached this current situation but NAPing the person you could have war-ed. Still we would do everything the same, its much better to win the era with no allies or a single person like last era on Nirvana, and win it by killing everyone on the map. Indeed we are new, that was I think my third era, so you are indeed fighting a kingdom full of new players.

And secondly, My point was that you I personally have been in KD's that have won against worse odds than this.

I will send you some tips if i can find a file. But mainly, you should fake more and use some small units.
They're great and expendable.
Much easier to lose than your whole army.

The best thing to do is just assume every player will make every decision based on GREED.
Greed will rarely let you down.
Look at Peg. He's a greedy fella. And guess what, he's your top man and very dangerous imo.

I don't see the point of arguing for you, if you guys in Collective are not on board with believing you can win.
But still I must try and convince you that you can win. so here's my second try.

Holding Your Own In Visual Utopia

It�s easy to lose your entire army with all that is going on out there. Many of us find that we�re moping around, anxious, uninterested, and overly cautious. This is ideal time to remember and put to use the phrase, What you focus on expands. If you focus on your fears, you will play even worse, and your negative energy becomes infectious to all the players around you. It�s like tracking dirt everywhere you go. Instead, it�s better to remember that a great victory is made up of lots of small moves in the right direction. The Law of Attraction will bring you all the victories you can make, but you must first take a step in the right direction.

To help achieve victory, recognize that there are Three Fields of War.

1. The Remote Field of War
This is the field most distant from us. It involves battles and troops on the map over which we have little or no control. Magic and Other Kingdoms are good examples. Even though many of us are not directly in that field, we are impacted by it. When we let the changes in the Remote Field consume us, it�s like bringing the war and spells into our homes. We lose our own confidence and become lost, anxious and make bad decisions out of fear.
To keep the right attitude, you must forget the fear of lsing ground. Instead remember all of the victories and offer encouragement to your fellow players, no matter what kingdom they fight for. This doesn�t mean ignoring what is going on it is simply a way to keep from being consumed by all the events over which you have no control.

2. The Near Field of War
Your actions have a greater impact in this field, which includes your cities, teammates, armies, and kingdom. It is the field of war that you interact with daily. This is also your support field. You must understand that in every movement you make, you are changing this field. You can affect this field by intentionally choosing to support the actions of your teammates and making the best decisions you can make.
To stay alive in this field, you can ask yourself, Does my action improve the situation? Does my action support my kingdom? If the answer to these is not positive, take the action steps necessary to change it. If your cities and armies are cluttered and messy, de-clutter them. If teammates are holding you back, move on alone or let them know how they can be supportive. First decide what you want in your near field, and make it the way you want it, violently if needed.

3. Your Personal Field
The primary way to achieve victory is to hold your own armies and cities in all circumstances. This field is you, your thoughts, your income, your cities, your armies, and your spirit. When feeling hopeless because of the remote or near fields of war, ask yourself what good you will do if you are consumed by anger, fear and despair. To keep a positive attitude when it seems impossible times, concentrate on your victories from the past. It helps to mass your troops to stay strong and focus on the next step rather than fear. You can also achieve harmony of your own field by being faster, more cunning, or even more daring than your enemies. Above all, remind yourself that you can not win without a fight.
It is time to move out guys. No one is exempt. move out your troops and attack. For better or worse, you all knew this day was coming. Get everything you have and move out within the next 3 days. And don't you dare turn back until you have fought at least one battle. We can win this era, but only if we bring the fight to them.

Talking about sheer numbers, we only had 9 this era. We have 4 inactive, and had 1 join for next era.

fighting 3 kds at once with 9 members proved too difficult.....and not having a mage. We (I) didn't realize all our mages from last era were going inactive.

But, no worries, next era we will have our issues sorted out :)

these same issues affect all of us. we arent a 6 member kd in effect since one guy is so new that he needs to learn more than help with fighting. other 2 are inactive or just landed. so we are basically a 3 member kd. MAD i cant speak for them but they spent most the era farming and even now arent having a great impact in the war due to their location and seem to have only a few fighters

We do not have any allies, and we will never have. Neutral players are fair game, but to be honest I have no idea who you are talking about. Been killing people all era, so I lost track of who I killed.

You going in our core was not my fault, I asked our leadership should I retreat, and they said no need, you're not a threat with that army. And they were right, all you did was take and wreck two of my cities and your army got stopped by who? Me.
You were not even able to take my arms even thought my main army is way up in Jesters cities that I was attacking. If you mean Jesters are neutral players, then you haven't been paying attention this era at all.

And you're saying I have taken cities of no value, you can just take a look at the kills: Mr. Pegaz has killed a total of 626787 men and women.
If killing that many soldiers has no value in your books, then those books I do not wish to read.

As to where I went, I moved from the UK to the states, spent a year going around the country before finally settling in Vegas.
