Has anyone ever considered the fact that for 1 million stone the seller usually gets 950k gold or so and the STGer only gets 50k :P That makes it way worth it to sell it even if someone STGs it ;) | |||||||||||||

bought at 0.9 the player gives 10% of his stone income to the stg'er. if he is the only stg er he gets 10% of the stone income of all players (about 70) so an extra 7 players stone income or an xtra 1-2 players income. so a solo stg'er can get 2-3 times the income he would normaly get without stg. | |||||||||||||
He has to buy the stone mate, now count again :) And all those sellers get gold as well for selling their resources, and the % benefit to them is much greater than the STGers. Please guys try to think XD | |||||||||||||

Mmkay, please explain :) The stger buys 1 mil stone for 900k. The seller receives 900k. The STGer recieves 100k more gold compared to before after stging. Thats a 9 times larger profit for the seller than the STGer. The option for the seller is to either STG himself/herself or most likely stockpiling it for nothing. | |||||||||||||

10 players can make 200k stone per hour each = 2,000,000 stone per hour totally 2,000,000 stone sold at .9 = 1,800,000 gold to seller with a loss of 2,000,000 stone 2,000,000 stone to buyer with a loss of 1,800,000 gold If the STGer purchases 10 players stone for 10 hours, 20,000,000 stone purchased for 18,000,000 gold. Cast STG = 18,000,000 gold returned and 2,000,000 gold profit STG caster's only loss are MUs, 1-3k tops. That's 18m spent, 20m received. Seller's sold 20m, received 18m. The difference? 2 mill. This means that, for every 10 hours that people sell stone at .9, they lose 2,000,000 gold collectively. A single player on the map makes this difference. Consider that many players are STILL selling stone under .9, and the margins begin a radical change. | |||||||||||||
The other option is that none of the sellers make any profit and one stger looses his profit. But yes its unnecessarily cheap. | |||||||||||||
There are two kinds of profit loss for sellers: 1) Never selling your stone, because nobody is STG 2) Selling your stone below 1 gold, because nobody but a feeder will pay that price. There are a few ways for an STGer to lose his profits: 1) Casting STG with an insufficient quantity of stone 2) Casting STG on an economic city instead of a warehouse city 3) An enemy captures the stone-filled warehouse 4) STGing small quantities and failing several casts Other than this, generally speaking, it is very easy for a player to do well. | |||||||||||||
