Just showing we are willing to work towards an era end sooner rather than later. At this point mad is being overrun on every front. So now the era will end when Imperium is #1 HoH, as Imperium will command complete control over the map sooner or later.

Mad had its chance many times this era to beat us with DR. At one point we were down to ~7 active members with 2 competitive armies in the field. We rebuilt our roster by recruiting brand new and returning players from Fantasia and some lower worlds.

Imperium has fended off direct core attacks from Trog, DR, and Mad for ~50 days of opponent armies made up of 260k+ AMs, 650k+ Axes, 150k+ zerks, 32k+ Naz, 500k+ knights (these are just some the highlights) with just 2 trolls of 100k zerks each. On the other hand, once Imperium went on the offensive, Imperium has overrun almost half of the map outside of Imperium's core within a week.

We have members who will soon break 4m and 3m kills; many others have broken 1m as well. This isn't to brag (maybe a little, as I am so proud of Imperium this era), but rather to show that Imperium isn't sitting still and asking mad to surrender.

Grand Moff Death Harbinger has won 81 battles, captured 50 cities and killed a total of 3839500 men and women.

Jarl The Bearded One has won 83 battles, captured 49 cities and killed a total of 2981191 men and women.

Whether we have to forcibly dislodge Ryan and take another 3w or mad decides to not hold the era hostage, that will be on mad, not Imperium.

I think it's good that MAD is deciding to prolong the era for another 2+ weeks because it's a clear sign they're having A LOT of fun right now :D! That's great guys! We're having fun too! Joy for all!

What began as a super disappointing oop defeat turned into a pretty fun era. Congrats Imperium and whomever the era winner will be.

I think I turned gray during the little “Troll Standoff” near the end :p

@Schepp, it's been a very fun era all together. I've enjoyed the cat and mouse our kingdoms have had.

I have missed the competitiveness and am hopeful this era wraps quickly and we can continue to have the momentum of this fun into next era!

This is a win for all of Imperium. I am honored that they have allowed the new era to bear my name. May it be a testament to the statesmanship of the original Thorbecke, founder of the Dutch democratic system and first prime minister.
