So for about the past 5 hours the tick countdown has been saying "waiting..." on both of my characters, and doesn't change, nor does the map update when I refresh. I've tried it with Firefox, IE, and my iPod. Does anyone know how to solve this, or is this happening to anyone else?

Yep same here, been for over 10 h like that now.
