Now you may be right that raistlin is adolf hitler's brother, single handedly wiped out the dinosaurs AND is causing global warming...but seriously dude cut the language out. This is SUPPOSED TO BE a moderated forum. This game's strength, unlike others, is its moderator forum, we have people from all races, creeds and religions and many different ages in this forum and i can't believe any adult(assumption on my part) would talke like that era on era over an online game. cut the language and you may achieve the moral high ground you so seek. i have never warred you, i like many fear players and played with them in different games for 3 years. i know very few in DOA and i know a couple in lulz.. but if your objective is for everyone to hate fear, even more than many do-you are doing a splendid job. You are also putting people off playing this game.

Mass-napping DOA / Lulz claims Fear and Fate mass-nap? ROTFLMAO! That's an 80 man kingdom right there..... especially when the DOA half had 44 players (and several multies) in it :) --> I personally, would not accuse you of mass-NAPing. (I don't know what happened in the past 4 era's though, but meh.). But let's be honest here, FATE and FEAR both have an excellent team, of mostly very good veteran players or very active newer players. In a one on one fight with any kingdom (with the same amount of players) there is no doubt you'd win. So I personally just see it as unfair that you guys would NAP. Sure, we have more players (although LULZ started with 18 players?) but you guys have more skilled/active players in general. Numbers are the only thing we're able to fight that with, so this era we did. And Aperantly it wasn't enough yet. Too long didn't read version: The problem isn't you're NAP whores, the problem is you two are the best kingdoms atm. And when those NAP and prey on the weaker kingdoms, isn't it logical those would pull out every dirty trick in the book? (just my personal opinion, I'm not a vice.)

They are merely stating you are the 2 strongest KD's and instead of fighting each other and maybe siding with smaller KD's and switching it up every era, you do the same thing every era, and noob it out behind each other.

This shows you are trying to stir shit up on me, or biased to me. Not that it bothers me. ii) On in the internet, everyone is either an adult or a kid, Superman or a retard. Feel free to consider me a kid and a retard if you don't like the crude way with which I speak my mind. iii) I am not interested in getting the moral high ground in this game. The player population here (especially the kids and the wannabes) is way too shallow and limited in their mindset to even be able comprehend what is a "moral high ground" anyway. They are like lemmings too; someone says "Hey, they farm", they go "Hey, they farm". Someone says "Hey, they mass NAP", they go "Hey, they mass NAP." I won't waste my energy sugar coating my words on a player base like this. Simple as that.

09:20:21 Jul 26th 10 - Emperor Palpy Has New Toy Deathstar: i have no idea of how you play the game because we have never fought but this is a MODERATED game and that is where its attraction lies....members who are now in Fear told me of this when i first joined the game and it was THE reason many of us came here.....many of the fear players such as my hubby Dooomhammer <3, Endless, Radioactive, jennaside, sexykool etc et al all came from the same game i did and the forum wars degenerated into such nastiness and language that the game numbers are now less than 1% of what they were. the forum shouters and screamers and those who used profanity destroyed the game FAR more than the cheaters did. People lose their cool and use language whatever, but you have been using it for eras now non-stop....as a long term player you should know better...i have no idea about these other people, who are more common in other threads than this one....but everyone sees TBL always talking about it using the same language which offends many, including myself, and we get tired of it in a MODERATED forum. i ought know....i was quite often right in that other forum but i realised in being right and arguing with such passion- i helped destroy that game. i don't want to see the same thing happen to this game which has precious few players as it is.

10:34:34 Jul 26th 10 - Emperor Palpy Has New Toy Deathstar: nah the biggest decline was way before mechanics changed in the game....half the people i have on skype who left wb told me the same thing...it was the forums that drove them away...only later did the remnants abandon it after TJ's stunts and the appearance of the game mods etc. ps Down with TZU! oops i mean fate/fear...easy to get the games confused. but craig and my antics , then ryan and i, then ryan and owen etc drove the majority of the people from the game. the games chnges came in with less than 50,000 people playing(including multis) where there were 300,000 before and now just a few thousand.

Calling a spade a spade is also a good thing, the ability to voice ones opinion based on their understanding and/or perspective is, I feel, everyones right, irrespective of wether the individual is right or wrong in their opinion - they might be opinionated, biased, wrong or possibly even right but I see no reason to use any of that as an excuse for a lot of the silly name calling I see flying about the place and which in all honesty I find rather ignorant, immature and very off-putting - the most that should imho happen if at all anyone is bothered by someone elses opinion - wrong, biased or otherwise - is voice theirs ,objectively (or in other words in as mature a way as possible) ... or let it ride. This is a game I find rather interesting, one that the developer has put a lot of man hours and thought into, and one with quite a few genuinely competitive people some of whom seek the glory of a win through understanding the game engine, politics, diplomacy and the combination of this knowledge into producing and leading a strong kd that is capable of producing the required outcomes - and the few who try to win the game how-so-ever they can even through the use of methods not catered for directly via the game engine ...to the latter I ask, what makes you tick !!? - and if/when you win using such tactics do you really feel gratified by your win !!? ... I sure don't feel keen playing against the latter type of folk so if I leave because of you - as many others like me will - I hope you will enjoy your future era wins playing with yourself - if you don't realise it now I'll do you a favour by letting you know - you are losers. With regards to the other ways and methods people use in-game to gain an advantage ie feeding of their inactives and such-like that many make so much noise about, Perhaps it would be a good idea for some of the learned and longer-term players to out their heads together and come up with some commandments or better still, methods that deal with these issues - possibly something that can even be encoded into the game to assist it's evolution if the developer considers it worthwhile - a good games evolution is generally lead by a combination of where the game designer wants to go with his/her game but more so its player base once the designer/developer has done most of his/her initial groundwork. Personally, I feel that any kd leader(s) should be able to make the best decision they feel most benefits their kd while at the same time trying to be fair to all within and therby encourage members to return as well as pull in new members, ... he/she/they lay down the law and govern their kd to the best of their ability - at the end of the day a kd's successes down the line is not based on one era but several and if they have less of a turnout in the coming eras they will either get to know where they've gone wrong or will fall by the wayside - the wisest bit of knowledge I have for kd leaders is know your place - you are but a servant of the people within your kd and will only thrive if you serve well. Sorry for the long post, I have mostly only posted on here asking for assistance, please consider this as being an attempt at giving something back - and please, should you feel inclined to do so - don't take any of what I have said poisonally, my intentions here are purely an attempt at being constructive and my opinions totally subjective, or at least that is what was intended.

20:51:59 Jul 26th 10 - Emperor Palpy Has New Toy Deathstar: danygraig, i have used forums to great effect many a time and you know this...they can be used to your advantage with propaganda and spin...but who can forget the other forum, where people's real life emails were posted, one guy rang and called another person's work to complain about him and fake profiles were created just to offend people with vulgar names....as well as reference to people's real lives etc. This IS a moderated forum which should make all the difference....by all means let the insults fly but let there be some wit about it and not just general vulgarity that is offputting....and we need not talk about people's personal lives, whether they live in basements, whether they have a life outside vu, whether they can get laid etc et al. it just isn't needed..

Suggesting that one or two modern day 'poster's are killing the game is incorrect. The last few eras of changes are easily the biggest factor in making people lose interest.

For most it's not the forums. That does not mean the changes are all bad. Just that many old players liked the game the way it was.

Yeah some people have left due to changes, others have real life chnges and can't play anymore...others play a game for a while and others CAN lose interest due to constant flaming and drama. this is true of every game. BUT this is a MODERATED forum which is a point of difference( ie selling point) and really i think those who are "veterans" of the game are somewhat more accountable and desire the games' success. I have been nothing but polite, I am not leading some conspiracy against TBL or anyone else...and he has ignored my advice, as just an ordinary player, to tone it down for the interest of the game...because i have seen what has happened in more than one other game(and not just games but other forums as well).People might even listen to what he says more(ie better to get a point across) if the language was toned down. If you can't send an ingame message without the Beep affecting what you say...why is such language allowed on forums warned automatically before they are posting. keep the insults fun, without prfanity, and without being personal and the flames can continue. Otherwise mods should step in to give some people a forum holiday.
