@Neratu I fear not getting into heaven more because I believe hell is the absesnce of God and I would consider that quite terrible.

@ EnyaliusYou realy cannot ask that question, because it is not for humans to judge. The answer to the later one I can say with some certainty is that if they are truely repentant of their sins, then yes, they will go to heaven. (Catholics believe in some quality time in purgatory first) but I may or may not be right.

Mbeidas i'm sorry to inform you the Earth did not come from the Sun, accually our whole Solar System came from one big star exploding. I think those are called Novas. Infact I think i saw something on TV once (it was the History Channel or Nova or something) that said everything was made from the stars, or something of that sorts.

Also why would the man do good things? Becuase even if there was no after life, the man (or woman) wanted his children, and the people all around to live better lives. I don't know if there's a Heaven or a Hell, but those 2 incentives make you want to go to a relegion. Just to make sure, that if you where wrong and there's Heaven and Hell you would not be sent to Hell and if there's no Heaven/Hell then what's the harm? You lived your life well, you helped other people, and you jsut feel good.

IF it's not for humans to judge, for whom it is to judge for? God? Well if God is all knowing, and all fair. Then that good person would go to heaven whether he belived in God or not.

Mbeida no offense, but i find it very difficult to understand what your typing. It is hard for me to read it. However God is not typed GOD it is either god for the word or God for the diety.

Actualy, the bible has turned out to be very historicaly acurate.

koran is 100% accute bibel was written in long way a big mistakes was put in it but i am taking bible say that God is the creator of everthing . moses saw God's face in sky . and mohamad after john writes ,mohamad saw him in paradise , amazing how God told us to use scince to find the beuti of his creating how we use it just to fill a blank in our life say that we are wrong just useing names we call it scintific to to this God reward if you do a good and panish if you do wrong , dont a boss in work do this .

koran was written after 2 years from mohamad death but bibel was after 400 and the old testemnt was more than 700 see the accurate .

bibel and old testemnt always said historical things even koran did and old testemnt is known as history book .

people koran is arabian and so its only if you can translate it to english you wont understand cuz as i said if i tell you a joke in arabic you wont understand and if i saw a commidian and people laugh when he say somthing i wont laugh .

He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in SIX days...

(Koran 25:29)
He Who created the heavens And the earth and all that is between, in SIX days...

The above verses clearly state that God created the heaven and the earth in 6 days. But the verses stated below contradict the above verses and imply that it took God 8 days to create the heaven and the earth. Read carefully and add up the numbers.

(Koran 41:9)
Is it that ye Deny Him who created the earth in TWO days?...

(Koran 41:10)
He set on the (earth). Mountains standing firm,
high above it, and bestowed blessings on the
earth, and measured therein all things to
give them nourishment in due proportion, in FOUR days...

(Koran 41:12)
So He completed them as seven firmaments in TWO days and...

Do the math: 2(for earth) + 4(for nourishment) + 2(for heavens) = 8 NOT 6

This implies that Mohammed did not know how to add integers.

4+2= 6 days and that to teach us patiant.

Mbeidas, I love you like I love every fellow human on this planet. That is why I say, believe in yourself and in your own thinking. Do not believe what the religious preachers try to feed you. Be independent. Use your own brain. Think.

There is no God. There is no Allah. But there is good in man. We are good and we can love each other, and we don't need any deities for that.

In Christmas the Santa Claus visits my family and brings us presents, but the God is no more true than Santa. They are great stories, very educating, and they teach us the right values, but they are just that stories. I respect the Bible and I respect the Koran, but I respect those books because they are old books that tell great stories. I do not believe they are the words of any god. They are good books, but the world is full of good books and we need to read more than just a couple very old ones.

I highly respect the Christian and the Islamic values, but I'm not so naive I would actually believe in any gods. Respect the morals and the cultural heritage, but don't be so childish that you actually believe in those bedtime stories and metaphors. They are just metaphors for God's sake!

Sorry Dakarius, you wished God had mercy on me, so surely I would like to "save" you too... erm... if I only knew from what?

Because I do not believe in any God, I do not believe in heaven or hell, so there is no threat to save you from. Except maybe wasting your life, worrying too much about hell or so. So, yes, I would like to save you from worrying too much about probably going to hell. No one is going to hell, because there is no such thing.

Instead, think of your children and your family, and their children. Think of the mankind and how we all can live a better life on this planet. I don't care who has the best god or Santa Claus. I care about who is the best man or woman, who makes the right thing and cares about others too.

When we care about each other the world we live in will be a better place. Think about it! We are not going to some supernatural place after our lives, but instead the actual world we are living in, will turn into a better place. We don't have to argue if the real world exist because we all know it does. Let's make the real world a better place and not argue some "afterlife" or other nonsense that no-one has ever seen.

What happens when I die? It is not a mystery. My children will live on. And I know that for a fact.

The factual points may be imagination, but the emotional points are true human feelings. If you say you wish God had mercy on me, you probably actually mean that from the human point of view. So I don't care "God" is an imaginary concept. I can see you mean good.

Oh, did you perhaps mean to introduce a phenomenological argument to this discussion?
