The assault.
Gilth ordered his mages to create a slope to the top of the wall surrounding the village (if they can do so from a distance). His infantry with kiteshields protecting them from incoming missiles (if there are any). The 15 archers firing into the city, to keep the defenders from standing on the walls. When the slope is created, the infantry moves up the slope to take the wall. Infantry with shields first. The cavalry remains with the mages as protection. if the walls are taken, the archers head up there and start shooting. Infantry moves down into the city and take out the remaining defenders.

Electric grew antsy over his capturing of only 2 villages.He chooses 50 free archers in each city,and hires 25 more, equalling 75 hired in each city.He knew he had nowhere near enough bows, and bought 100 free Yew Long Bows, and buys 100 more Yew Long Bows for 250 Gold, for his hired archers.

He plans the destruction of the town to his west, sending 100 archers from each village, 25 infantry and 3 calvarymen from village 1,and 45 infantry and one calvaryman from village B all together in one army.

Hazel, 2 Mages perish. You are attacking a city of 680, 68 of which are Infantry fighting with Copper Shortswords. Lady Hazel's attack plan was ingenouse, besides for one thing she only had 2 mages. In straining to build the earth bridge the 2 mages died, and since there is no other battle plan your troops now wait for your orders.

Electric's men arrive at the village and see the infantry lined up at the walls, but are unaware of the incoming army.

150 Archers are to climb up a tall hill in front of the village and fire as many volleys of arrows as they can.The infantry are to charge at the gate and kill any defenders at the gates.Any of the others that run away are to not be chased, but go into the houses of the village and demand that the population surrender or die.

Electric, You kill none of their troops, but you don't lose any either. The leader of this village is not stupid, he has his gates closed and his men under tree barks so you're arrows don't do much damage. Since the gates are closed your Infantry cannot get in......make a new battle plan.
Hazel, Your attack on this village goes very well. Unlike Electric's leader the leader you are fighting is not very good at tactics. He bunched his men at the gates, when you broke through they were disorganized and panicked. You slaughtered all of their men and lost only 6 of your Infantry in the aftermath, you got 6800g and 68 Copper Shortswords. 
Killer, You arrive at the village which consists of 700 people, 70 are infantry armed with Iron Axes.

Electric watches with dismay that only pieces of bark and hay are flying out of the village and shouts of anger.He orders all 200 archers and all the calvary as guards for them up the hill to wait for infantry to complete their plan.Since they have copper axes, and since there are trees that are 100's of years old, they are to chop them down to crush the walls, then charge in.The enemy infantry will have to drop their bark and fight.My infantry are to run out after most drop their bark, and archers are to fire one volley at the enemy.After losses are big, infantry charge again.If the wall doesn't break under the trees, infantry are to chop the ground up with axes and dig supports and foundations up.Then they are to break them out, and kick and hack at the wall as much as they can.

Army 1 is located in village. Army 2(merged army 2&3) is at the village north of mine(I'll update when I see if I get the village or not. What about the others' villages? Will I get rid of them, or change them to black?)

Army 2 surround half the village. The archers fire stones at the wall to scare off the people inside. They(the whole army) then march up to the front gate and try to batter it down. If they are driven off with stones and the like from over the wall, they retreat, archers firing during that time. If they succeed, my infantry surround my archers and healers, the archers fire at the enemy inside. The infantry jab at anyone that comes near with the pole-axes, and the healers try
to heal any of my troops that may get injured. Eventually(not when the archers run out of ammo, considering they use stones, but when they've injured the enemy enough), the infantry charge at any remaining troops, and try to kill them.

Electric, (Well they can't be THAT stupid either, I mean who leaves the gates open?! Try to use your imagination more Electric, but think of the possible consenquences there may be, I don't mind reading so the more detail you have the better it can be) This time Elecrtric had a plan, a very savage primitive plan, but a plan nonetheless. His troops with great strain chop down he GIGANTIC 100 year old trees, since Electric didn't say how many they needed to chop down they chopped down too many. Your men then carried the gagantic trees to the gates and failed to raise them up. Then they start chopping at the gates which works well. There is a breach in the wall and your men storm the village, but your men are so exausted from the work they get beat up pretty bad (you lost 32 Infantry). Thankfully your archers are fresh and strong (and a bit smarter then their leader =P), they charge through the breach and shoot down any enemy that they see. They quickly dispose of every enemy infantry.
You lost a total of 32 Infantry, you got 5900g and 59 Copper Pikes.
Hazel, Your men scout around an find no sign of any enemy.
Killer, Your men scare away all opposition from the walls and tear down the gate with your Axes. Right before the gates are chopped down the enemy opens their gates, you see no sign of the enemy. Your men feel a supernatural precsense (they feel something scary). Suddenly there is a screech and all of your men fall to theirs knees in fright, no one knows what it is, but one of your healers knows old lore and realizes that the villagers must have summoned a Crulgal an ancient menace most have forgotten about. Do you proceed into the village?

Known lore on the Crulgal
The Crulgal is a demon that is summoned from Hell, it is not one of the strongest demons, but it is formidable. This demon is as tall as two men and as strong as 15. It is rumored that the heart of a Crulgal is made out of red diamond. A Crulgal is hard to kill, but with the right moves the person who kills the Crulgal could become rich very fast. (Remember use your imagination, think of weaknesses that Demons could have coming from a very hot place known as Hell)

Gilth increased the size of his army, 40 newly trained cavalry would serve unders his banner. He had to equip them with a horse, so he also bought 40 horses. He assumed he would need cavalry in field battles.
When the scouts came back end reported that there was no enemy closeby, Gilth gathered his army (assault force) and they marched out towards another independant village. He left enough troops in both villages, to protect them from small groups of bandits.

Electric still feels an urge to conquer yet another village.He chooses the one in the middle of the desert, which is likely to be weaker because of its position.The same attack force is to attack them.Archers are to fire over the gates as many rounds as they can, but saving 1 incase they get charged with enemy infantry.Calvary guard as before.Infantry cut and hack at gates if they are not open, and run around the walls killing defenders.Then they stand on the walls as if they are the defenders.The enemy men will climb up and my men will kill them one by one.

The old healer, recalling forgotten lore from ancient times, quickly assembled the troops in a circle, healers and archers inside, infantry on the outside. They advanced into the city, going towards the centre. The plan was, that when the demon came out, the archers would fire stones, and anger the demon. Any water found in the space of a few short minutes by five infantry who wandered off(inside the village) to get it would be thrown at the demon(in buckets, if available) to anger it more. When the demon charged, they would spread out, and form a circle around the demon, archers hurling stones all the while, and the infantry would charge with their pole axes. If the demon was not roused to anger, they would fire stones and back away from the demon(unless he was very fast, in which case they'd try to form a circle around him as above) and then charge when the creature was dazed.

Electric, (Sorry Electric it's my fault :-( I didn't think the thing through. I suppose you have to travel for one day. Your men have to rest, after all they did travel all of that way, I will leave it for now, but if you still want to attack remember that your men are tired. If you want to attack then I'll do this day and then the next, if not then I'll treat this day as if you just marched to the village) Your men arrive at the village that has 360 men, 36 of which are Infantry armed with Mithril Pikes.......yes this is a village that cares for thier men =P. The leader of this town has ** starts out of 5.
Hazel, Your men travel one day to the village, when your men arrive they find out that this "village" is the capital of this region. The village has 1,000 people, 75 of which are Infantry armed with Steel Shortswords, and 25 of which are Archers armed with Willow Shortbows. The Leader of this town has *** (3/5 stars) in tactics.
Killer, Your men cautiosly walk into the deathly quite village. They feel that there is an unholy presence here, but they are embolded by your healers who have been taught the religion of the land. They walk all the way to the Town Square with nothing remarkable happening, all the men are releaved and the tension seemed to go out of them. They start to joke, but right before they completly relax they spot something walking toward the town square. This...this thing is burning, it's red and darkness surrounds it, but that's not the worst of it. The worst is the eyes, the hate filled eyes that just make you want to lie down and cry. When Crulgal comes within ten feet of your men they snap out of it and spring into action. Your archers fling rocks at an amazing rate, who wouldn't if they were afraid for their lives. The Crulgal gets enraged by this attack and charges your archers, but before it could get to them your infantry poke it with the pole-axes. The things gets even more enraged and starts swinging it's arms (killeng 5 Infantry) and kicking. Your men who went to find the water arrive unexpectedly on the roofs and dump the water on the Crulgal. The water scorches and "burns" the Crulgal just as fire would burn human fle*beep* realizes now that there is no way that it could survive this, it draws in ten of your men and suicides.........it explodes. 57 of your Infantry are hit and sent flying. Your Healers do their best and keep 12 of them alive, all the others die from impact (45 Inf. die). Once the smokes clears up your men see a hole, as if God himself got angry and punched the Earth. A little twinkle caught their eye, it was a bright oval shaped jewel. The rumors where true, something did grow in the Crulgal's heart, but it wasn't a jewel........but an egg. No one knows what that egg is, but your men pick it up and store it for safe keeping. You lost 50 Infantry. You got 1 mysteriouse Ruby red Jewel egg, 70 Iron Axes (the Crulgal killed them all), and 6800g.( I will think of what that egg is later, but I promise you it will be something good ;-) Possibly a little baby Crulgal ;-), but if you just want $$$ I can arrange that too.  Good idea with the water, but what would of been better was Holy water + the pikes' points dipped in Holy water.....then maybe the Crulgal would  have been killed instead of it suiciding itself).

Tactics
Yup, something new again=P I'm just trying to expand and make the game more interesting then it is right now. Each of the towns and armies have a leader or a General and their tactics are ranked out of 5 starts. 1 being they leave the gates open and tell their men to moon you, and 5 being they set an ambush for you in town to try and use the limited space against your numbers. So 1 being stupid, and 5 being excellent, but not too excellent.

Gilth did not expect this amount of resistance inside a little village. He immediately signalled for reinforcements. The would arrive tomorrow. In the mean while, he wanted to try a new tactic. He ordered his men to make small fires out of reach of enemy bows. The enemy obviously already knew they were here. When the fires were ready, 50 infantry formed a shield wall and 4 carried torches. The archers following the infantry untill they could reach the village with their bows. They all set 1 arrow on fire and shoot it towards the village, aiming for the wooden buildings they could distinguish from this distance. After 1 vollley of arrows, they would all retreat. The Healers would heal the burns.
If Gilth was lucky, the soldiers would be needed to take the fires out. So they would be tired for the upcoming battle. If they decide to just leave the fire and storm at Gilth's forces, he should easily crush them. Archers firing at them until they are halfway. Then the cavalry charges them with infantry following.
If something else happens, Gilth would have his men rest until the reinforcements arrive, so his men will be in top shape when he will assault the village.

Electric, Your archers fire at the village killing a good portion of the enemy. Then your men hack down the walls, and the remaining infantry unwisely charge. You lost a mere 5 Infantry, and you got 3600g and 36 Mithril Axes.
Hazel, Your men fire fire arrows that set buldings on fire. Since there are a bunch of people at this village they work on dousing the flames, but once unexpected event did happen. All of their archers fired theirs arrows at you, you lost 4 Infantry. The enemy has no arrows now (so 75 Infantry with 25 archers without arrows).

The reinforcements arrived and Gilth immediately ordered the assault of the village. All troops would move towards the village. The infantry has to take down the gates, while the archers fire over the walls if there are any troops behind them. They should be able to hear the defenders. When the gates are down. They all move in, archers and healers in the center, protected by infantry and cavalry. Every defender in sight is to be killed. If they are hiding, my troops search every house and kill the defenders. They move as a group as much as possible.

Delran, Delran is away for now.
Electric, Your men rest for the day. The day seems to go by fine, but all of the sudden troops appear in your horizon of your capital city. Since you did not have any scouts out and about you don't know what exactly is in the army, but from your experience in war you can tell that they have roughly 200 men on foot and 20 horsemen. (You have two days to prepare for their attack or sally out to defeat this army, remember troops take one day to travel somewhere)
Hazel, Your men advance to the gates expecting arrows to rain down upon them, but instead what they got where rocks. Your infantry put up their shields and your archers shot down some of their men (1 archer died). They then wait for a few minutes and then keep going to the gates which they tear down. Upon tearing the gates down your men move in as a group, strangely they see no enemy. They walk in tightly as a group and suddenly men come from the right and left. Your men are so tightly packed that they cannot draw their weapons and the ones that did cannot use them in tight combat (lost 15 Infantry). Thankfully your men are have Kite Shields which they use to bash open the heads of the unprotected enemy infantry. You kill all of the enemy infantry. Your men keep walking thinking that they have won the battle they spread out to search through the city in groups of 10. One of these groups encounters a trap that the archers have set, but thanks to other groups the archers are slaughtered and your men are saved. Also while searching out the city the people of the city fought your men, they didn't do much besides getting themselves killed, but they did kill 6 more of your Infantry. You lost 21 Infantry and 1 archer, you got 10000g, 75 Steel Shortswords, and 25 Willow Longbows.

Electric trains 25 infantry in 3 cities and 25 mages in his capital.The 74 infantry are also sent to the capital..He also sends his attack force of 200 archers, 4 calvary, and 48 infantry to his home village.The mages are to make a hill, but not strain too much power into making it.If they cant make it 3 houses high, they are to rest a few minutes and try again.Once it is about as high as 3 houses, they are to stop, and let the archers up on top, and then make a trench around the village, again not straining too much.Then the infantry are to get water from the well with large buckets until there is at least 2 feet of water in the trench.Then, the mages, if possible, are to try and boil the water.50 infantry are to stand near the gate, 50 in the middle of the city, and 25 infantry are to find some loose stones and stack them near the wall to give it a weak appearance, and hide.Then if the enemy infantry take the bait, the infantry are to jump out in surprise and kill the men there The other 28 infantry are to be on the walls around the city.Archers fire all their arrows except one, which they will use if the enemy infantry get in.Before the archers fire their arrows,the mages will shoot as many projectiles as they can without killing themselves.If enemy infantry get to the gates, the mages are to shoot a few more projectiles at them, again trying not to strain too much.Once they fire a few more, infantry are to open the gates and kill the men at them.If there are more than 60 enemy infantry at the gates they are not to open them, but let 25 of the archers fire their last arrow at the men.If there are still more, infantry are to find heavy stones and drop them on the enemies.

This general isn't stupid, but he's not the cleverest of tacticians ever either.) The army arrives at your gates and you find out that there are 150 Infantry armed with Steel Axes and have a copper buckler each, also they brought along 50 archers who are armed with Willow Longbows. All 20 of the horsemen are Calvary armed with Iron Great Swords, they have copper Kiteshields equiped for protection. Their General has not arrived for this army yet, so the attack upon the city will happen the next day. The General has ** out of five stars.
Bonus: Your capital is under attack and your people feel worried. You can train an extra 20 troops the next turn.

Gilth used his newly acquired income to recruit more troops and buy new armour and weapons for these men. He then ordered 40 infantry and 30 archers in every village, together with 3 healers. The other troops would come with him to assault other villages. When he inspected his small army, he noticed that there were only 50 infantry part of the army. While he had always been used to infantry to be the main part of his army. In the next few days, more infantry would have to be recruited.

03:11:12 Jan 7th 09 - Mr. Adrastos the Pointy eared:

Delran, Delran is away for now.
Electric, The General, not being very tactical minded, rode to his army all by himself. He was proud of the army that he had gathered to take over this city and was daydreaming. He noticed men coming in his direction and thought that it was his army welcoming him to the Campaign. The archers sat down, strung theirs bows, and fired. Forty-five arrow*beep* the General killing him instantly. Two hours later the army of the General finds out his fate and go beserk. They attack the city rushing in as if high on drugs, they kill everyone and everything they see. They get through the trench rather easily (mages couldn't boil it, just make it luke warm =P) and get to the gate. The Beserk army got to the gates and in the process roughly 50 infantry and 10 archers died. Only 25 men could fit on the 3 story house block, which they all get killed because of the enemy archers' longbows (25 archers dead). 25 more Infantry died when they managed to open the gates. There where 75 enemy infantry left and they went at your 50 like crazy, they just annialated them (50 Inf. dead), also the enemy fell for your trick and your surprised men got destroyed (28 Inf. dead). After all of that 50 Infantry rushed to the center, but before they got there your archers finished them off. There where still 40 enemy archers and 20 horsemen left. They grew a calm head and proceded through the village killed peasents. Once they got to the town center they used their great swords to chop through those 50 (50 Infantry dead), but by then the enemy had taken a great toll. Peasents drew in on them and killed the rest. You lost 128 Infantry and 25 Archers, you got 2000g, 150 Steel Axes, 150 Copper Bucklers, 20 Great Swords, 20 Kiteshiels, 50 Willow Longbows, and the Generals' armor (which you can sell for 2k at the nearest large town.....watch out raiders might want it ;-))
PENALTY: You can train 25 LESS troops after your peasents got hit by these mad men.
Hazel, D1 Nothing happens, D2: Your scouts spot running five miles away from your village. It looks like a lot of horses, maybe you want to investigate? But be careful......
Killer, You find out that this village has 790 people, 70 of which are Infantry armed with Steel Longswords and Copper Chainmail, and 9 are archers armed with Yew Longbows. The leader of this village has *** stars out of 5. There are no defenses in place besides a wall.

Well for starters the enemy had better quality weapons (Steel vs. Copper) and the archers where tied (Willow vs. Willow). Then you seperated your troops heavily. Putting 50 at your gate, 28 to ambush, and 50 at the town center which screams muder me. They had 150 Inf. with better weapons. These men where pumped with Adrenelin as well since they where REALLY pissed off. You recieved better weapons + 4k gold (enough to buy 800 new Inf.).

P.S. Gilth almost died at the beggining of this game, he suffered waaaaaaaay worse losses. He went from 107 total Inf to only 17 total Inf (an 84% loss) and he only got 1800g from it. You only lost 55%, next time specify where ALL of your archers are (are they on walls? buildings? where?!).

Gilth was inspecting his newly trained warriors (infantry), when a scout reported to him about a dust cloud about 5 miles away. Gilth was curious, what could it be. A big group of horses could be migrating through these lands, that happened before. It could also be a marching army. He would have to investigate this. He prepared his assault force and marched out of his village. Sending scouts ahead to make sure they weren't marching towards a stronger enemy. The scouts (10 horsemen) would spread out and try to get a view of the cloud. If they had any news, they had to report immediately.

Items: Ruby red Jewel egg

Army 1 is located in village A. Army 2 is at the village B.

Army 3 wanders back to Village B. (I presume the egg is in Village B, that being where I got it?) Anyway, I want all the infantry and archers in the village(B) to make sure the new-born creature doesn't kill anyone(if it bites or somehow else harms someone, that's ok, just as long as it isn't too dangerous), and five of the healers are to try and figure out what it is, and what food it needs, etc.
(I'll be sending the army out tomorrow, I just want to make sure the hatched creature doesn't get away)

Capital armament

276 Archers, 5 Calvary,135 infantry, 25 mages

75 Infantry go to village A from B,C,and D, to help clean up the wreckage.Electric also has a plan to try next attack. For fun, He has his mages try to pick up a huge rock (Not straining too much) and attach it to some hinges and ropes. He also has his infantry try testing out the new drawbridge when/if the mages get the rock there. If it's sturdy, 25 infantry on each rope will pull up the bridge and lock it in place with chains. Then if an enemy tries to break in the gate, they get a foot or hand full of solid stone (Hehe =P).

Meanwhile, the other men are to help clean up the debris, and save the sharp debris. After they have the sharp debris, they are to strew it all over the the trench and about 5 feet out.Then if they try to get infantry over, they fall in pain and are easy targets for my archers.

Electric, (for giving me the idea for city defenses you have 4k gold credit in city defenses). Nothing happens.
Hazel, Your ten horsemen ride out to scout what made the smoke. To their astonishment they find 100 horses just running around without supervision. They go closer to the horses; to their astonishment they see men riding these horses....but transparent men. Immidiatly one of your horsemen turns around and gallops away in fear. The other nine just look at him confused, but they were not confused for long because ten of those ghost riders saw your men and came at them. Your men charged as well and met these men with their weapons. They managed to kill one ghost rider before they where slaughtered (9 horsemen lost). Your lone horseman comes back to the city and reports findining Ghost Riders.
Killer, Your men stand around the Ruby Jewel Egg amazed at the brilliance of it. They started to hear a noise like distant thunder. They began to feel a little uncomfortable, but the prescense of the healers calms them. The egg broke and out feel a grey creature. One of the healers; in fact the same one that identified the Crulgal knew what it was. He told the people that this was a Nimrod. Your men took the creature to go and eat ________.

Known Lore on the Nimrod
When a Crulgal dies it continues its legacy by dropping an egg from its heart. What hatches is a Nimrod, a grey creature that could become a Crulgal or a Yataca. If you feed it a lot of meat and treat it crully it will become a Crulgal; which then you should be carefull since they are hard to control+. If you feed it a lot of vegetables and treat it kindly it will become a Yataca*. There is no in-between the creature will become one or the other.

*Known Lore on the Yataca
A Yataca is a creature that grows up from a Nimrod. The Yataca is a magical creature. It is gentle my nature so it is not much good for killing people, but if you treat it kindly enough it will heal your troops from injuries. It is even rumured to bring people back from the dead. The Yataca is as good as 50 Healers once grown up (4 RL days to grow up).

+Controlling a Crulgal
There has been known that some people have managed to tame Crulgals. Crulgals will never fully give up trying to kill so it will kill either side just for the fun of it, but if this creature is realeased upon a city or an army and the army/city are not prepared then God help them. Same goes for any holder of the creature who does not take the proper precautions.

Known Lore on Ghost Riders
Ghost Riders are a myth from other worlds that has traveled to this land. Not much is known about them besides for the fact of their "Ghost Armor and Weapons" known to be the Armor of Zealtan. Zealtan forged this armor for an army to become stronger, but before he managed to create more he was killed. Now these Ghost Riders ride the continent plundering and killing everything they see. Thier armor, which consists of chainmails and kiteshields, is 2x stronger then anyone else has been able to create. Also this armor gives these men a transparent look. Their weapons are Longswords and Lances; these weapons are fabled to be strong enough to get through Mithril Armor.
(These "men" are hard to kill, but with the right stratgety you could kill them with minimal losses. Remember to use your imagination; remember that they only have a kiteshield and chainmail.......they bleed like normal men ;-))
